How many more would have died and go gain what? Honor for the emperor? The bomb was the only option. Just too bad we didn't have it a little sooner--maybe we could have saved more lives...

"When the U.S. drew Japan into the war?" Are you nuts? Of course you are. We blew up the twin towers and forced a phony war against radical Islam according to you you perverted crazy ass, so obviously we forced Japan to bomb pearl harbor. Get out of this country you do not deserve to live here. You are truly part of the enemy within our own borders.

Like most of what you post, your statement that more Germans were killed in Dresden than in Hiroshima or Nagasaki is totally false. No more than 25,000 were killed in Dresden. 146,000 died in Hiroshima. 80,000 died in Nagasaki. Similar to Hiroshima, there were American POWs in Dresden when the firebombing took place. American Kurt Vonnegut survived the holocaust and later wrote "Slaughterhouse Five" drawn from his experiences there.

I would like to have you personally strapped to the nuke we eventually drop on Tehran. You need to learn to love the bomb because it has kept you free from nuclear war since WWII. Remember MAD? One of the German cities we continuously carpet bombed suffered more deaths than Nagasaki. I thought it was Dresden. We always kill some of our own accidentally or on purpose in war. Sometimes, when a position is in danger of being overrun by the enemy, commanders have called for shelling, bombing, etc., on their own location. I think you'd be surprised at the number of Americans who would be in favor of an increased use of nuclear weapons in certain circumstances. At least tactical nukes. You do understand that in fighting a war the purpose is to kill more of the enemy than our own don't you? Obama has never caught on to that strategy as shown by his severely restrictive rules of engagement.

There is no need to apologize to anyone for our use of nukes to stop WWII. Do yo believe that if Hitler had succeeded first he wouldn't have used them? The "good guys" prevailed and we developed them first.

I have heard of "The Ghost Soldiers", but have not read it. Not sure I would fully comprehend the lexicon of the military language. I have not however, heard of the movie "The Great Raid". I will search for it, I certainly like the cast. If my memory serves, McCarthy(?) left these men stranded with little supplies. Proclaiming to return, yet took him nearly three years to do so.

Years ago I found one book with my grandfather's name mentioned. I have since found his name in other literature written on this subject. I do know he was awarded a metal from the Phillipine government for his service. I meant my grandfather once on his deathbed in 1961 or 1962, at the age of four or five.

My family's military careers ended with my oldest brother, Vietnam Green Beret, in the mid 1960's. I was still in grade school when he came to say goodbye. Today, he iives at the end of a very long driveway with two dogs...and it's cold.

We didn't blow up the twin towers. Zionist Neocons did.
They were in need of a "New Pearl Harbor."
Here is a good explanation of their motives:

First note that I did not say Goyim. I said Goyem. In my lexicon the term is not pejorative, but rather only identifies an outsider, and therefore not in the know, confused.

An example would be Governments keeping their people under control by keeping them in a position of confusion and fear...Goyem.

Deazu,speaseak Cezarny?

Goyim is the most common spelling of the word but it appears they both mean the same thing--"non-Jewish."

So your statement would imply the insiders (government) are Jewish and they are attempting to scare us Goyem.
At present the insiders are trying to scare us Goyem by spreading Islamophobia.
They think if they scare us enough we won't raise hell if they kill a few million more innocent Muslims.

The fact that the three towers were brought down by controlled demolition proves Muslims didn't attack us on 9/11.
Ya know, for a guy who is so in love with Islam you obviously know little or nothing about it. Bloody damned shame that a human mind can be so corrupted and trapped in fantasies and lies. If you were a principled and honest man rather than a gullible fool, you might actually realize that a 500 page exhaustively researched history of the rise of radical Islam and its road to 9/11 is infinitely more credible than a doctored photograph. But, such is the nature of ignorance. What a pity.

No, I mean that the people are being played big time. More blatantly than any time in history. Nothing the Goyem think they know about politics, health care, religion, history, economics, science, in fact anything you can think of, is true and valid. They are stupid and dangerous and very numerous.

Killing hundreds of thousands of civilians who had nothing to do with starting the war appears to be the MO of the Empire.
The Empire did it again in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. The Empire did it again in Iraq. Perhaps you'll be in the wrong place when the world decides it needs some payback.
Your ignorance of history as with everything else is mind-boggling. Truly. You obviously have no freaking idea what the Japanese Imperialists created in Japan, specifically, what they molded their people into through their butchery of the Bushido Code and a brilliant propaganda campaign. At the beginning of 1945, the entire Japanese population--men, women, and children--were training for the final battle on their homeland. It would be a glorious fight to the death. For the divine emperor. No surrender, Kamikaze all the way.

The Emperor and the Japanese military were determined to resist. Emperor Hirohito approched the strategy of Ketsugo (January 1945). This was part of the overall strategy of bleeding the Americans to force a negotiated peace. Ketsugo meant self defense, As a national defense policy it meant preparing civilians to fight an American invasion. It was a refinement of Japan's Shosango victory plan which envisioned defending the home islands to the last man. The plan was to prepare the Japanese people psychologically to fight the Americans and die defending their homeland. There was to be no surrender, even civilians were not to surrender. Some Japanese sources claim that Japan was defeated and ready to surrender. Such claims are starkly disproved by what happened to civilians on Okinawa. The military there actively prevented civilians from surrendering and encouraged civilians to kill themselves. Ketsugo went a step further. It involved training civilians to actively resist an American invasion. The plan included training children, boys as well as girls, to fight with improvised weapons. The military began implementing the strategy of Ketsugo (April 1945).

Soldiers were assigned to schools to train even primary-level children in the use of weapons like bamboo spears. I am not sure how widespread this effort was and how intensive the training. I have noted Japanese adults describing such training they received in schools. Japanese officials warned that the Americans would kill men who surrendered instantly and rape women. There was no evidence for this belief other than this was how the Imperial Japanese Army behaved in well-publicized Chinese incidents. Not only were Japanese soldiers not to surrender, but neither would civilians. Others Japanese sources have reported their was no serious training in their schools. A peace faction led by Foreign Minister Togo complained that Ketsugo would destroy the nation. General Anami retorted. "Those who can not fulfill their responsibilities to the Emperor should commit hari-kiri. " He was intent that the entire nation should resist the Americans to the death.

In truth, the use of Fat Man and Little Boy saved millions of lives, both Japanese and allied.

P.S. Please spare us another youtube video.

I remind you that the object of war is to win by assisting our enemies to die for their cause. And obviously we were a nation of psychopaths who joyfully cheared when we nuked Japan and won the war. You silly stupid demented jerk. You're just like the jackass in the white house who wants to wage war without getting his hands dirty. We have a nation full of chicken shit cowards like you and because there are so many just like you we could not win a war like we did in WWII. The people don't have what takes and 75% of our nation's youth are disqualified for military service mentally, morally and physically. We're a nation whose people are in decline. The only way we can win a great war anymore is with nukes. You know it's out there on the horizon thanks to Obama and his traitorous mob.

What you present is a 500-page tome of lies much like the 9/11 Commission Report.
You do know that both co-chairs of the 9/11 Commission said "the 9/11 Commission was set up to fail" don't you?

If Hirohito was such a bad guy, why did the U.S. allow him to remain as Japan's emperor after the war?

You say, "Please spare us another Youtube."
Youtube can be compared to a bookstore.
It has a non-fiction section and a fiction section.
I prefer the non-fiction selection.
You select fiction every time.
