There is NOTHING WRONG with the health care we have now, except for the cost. The cost is high mostly because people with insurance abuse it. And there are many people, read illegals, who don't pay anything, and those who do pay, have to make up for the abusers. There doesn't HAVE to be a replacement plan for obamacare, we just need to weed out the abusers.

Nothing wrong with a system that leaves 40 million americans uninsured who are a drain on the public purse? Because they DO get health care...from the emergency room. It's called indigent care. If they cannot pay then you and I pay through local and state taxes. Some sort of system that pulls everybody into a PAYING pool will begin to address this. NO FREE RIDES. Just a system where everybody pays according to their circumstances would begin to alleviate the skyrocketing costs of healthcare. The Insurance companies are part of the problem because they are allowed to jack prices in a lot of states without restraint. The only thing that will rein them in is fair regulation and FAIR COMPETITION in the form of a public option.

OK, 'He who knows all', Nancy still doesn't know what's in it! She's incapable of rational thought. She just does what barry tells her he wants--like you do. Your Republican cousin is saying the same thing about you-in reverse. I'm sure you're smarter than the people at Fox News, too. I'm sure they misspell words, and take things out of context, too. You're just spouting socialist nonsense that you hear on MTV, I think.

Seriously, tell me what you really mean, don't hold back. Nancy may not know what is in OC and neither do you.

I know just enough to know it's terrible--for The USA, and for us. I also know enough not to vote in incapable, illegal, unqualified POS!

Sir/madam(?),

It sounds like what you're looking is for is called "cash & carry", this subject was introduced a little while back, can't remember under what topic, maybe someone else in here can. But I'm sure you're familiar with the concept.

Could you perhaps answer for me why it is that government employees don't want this for themselves, and or why I'm not allowed to exempt myself said law?

I got this: It's called the "Golden Rule." When you have the gold, you make the rules.

I was a rhetorical question, albeit a good one. I merely tried to inject a little levity.

Because, they need your money, you did not pay anybody off, and you just plain do not count in the overall scheme of things. You count to us; however, we do not count either.

AuntiE, what if some magical switch happened and those in the 47% that do not pay income tax, all of a sudden were the ones that did, shoe on the other foot, would they still see things the same way?

Either you had excessive s adult beverages this PM or it is a rhetorical question!

It would have to be VERY magical; however, the 47% do believe the President is magical.

It would mean that they have money to spend on taxes, as opposed to food , shelter and health care. And since they were on the other side of the fence, they would probably be sympathetic to that point of view and be willing to pay their taxes. They'd be called liberals.

To be repetitive, you over indulged in adult beverages. :!: :!: :!:
