It's not Obummer care. Are you dense? or just stupid. It's the law, upheld by the Supreme Court.

Correct about how "they" work for us. So called "Obamacare" is based on a Universal Healthcare Plan formulated by the Heritage Foundation, a Conservative Think Tank.

Eden, you are operating in a totally fact free zone. Romneycare was the blueprint for Obamacare, so OC was not based on a Universal Healthcare Plan formulated by the Heritage Foundation. As a matter of fact, Dr. Robert Emmet Moffit, of Heritage praised RC for establishing a consumer based market where everyone could find affordable health care coverage.

Jim "dimwit" DeMint left the U.S. Senate last December after failing to make Obamacare President Obama's "Waterloo". Really, what a hypocrite, after the Heritage Foundation praised RC he is determined to make OC a failure.

I lived in MA when Romneycare became law and there were no crazed lunatics running around holding up signs saying "Recall Mitt Romney" or "Repeal RomneyCare", the people of MA were grateful. Even Patrick Duval, MA Democrat governor is praising Romneycare for giving 98% of his constituents healthcare.

One of the main authors was Max Baucus, (D) MT. He has since said it was a "train wreck," and withdrawn his support. You might also notice that Baucus has announced he will not seek re-election, since he couldn't get elected dogcatcher after this fiasco.

Oh really and what is it costing? When you can't see the truth or even bother to find out the truth you are of no value to people like me who tell the TRUTH. Your like an annoying little gnat.

If you all want the truth about the so called "Obamacare" law, do some research. It was supposedly written by a "friend" of Max Baucus and former VP of WellPoint Inc., named Liz Fowler, but in truth it was written by the insurance industry, most notably WellPoint Inc., an independent licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, and the nations largest insurer. The entire insurance industry was in some way supportive of this massive extraction of money from the pockets of the working class, and that money's deposit into the pockets of the insurance industry and their biggest investors.

This law was authored to do two things. First, to force thousands of working people to purchase a product, health insurance, which they would not have purchased without government forcing them. Second, it allows government to funnel millions of tax dollars, in the form of insurance subsidies for the non-working, into the pockets of the insurance industry, and thereby, the pockets of insurance company VPs and the investors in insurance companies.

Democrats led the passage of this massive taxpayer financed give away to the insurance industry, so I wonder if you can guess which party, and which presidential candidate, the insurance companies and their biggest investors have been supporting with their political contributions, for the past seven, or so years?

Democrats couldn't care less about the poor uninsured, except that by giving them free health insurance on the taxpayers dollars, they also line the pockets of some of their biggest political contributors, keep the money flowing to the DNC, and to democrats, that's politics. The icing on the democrat's cake is the continued votes of the ignorant and lazy people who get the free, taxpayer financed, insurance.

I also thought it a nice touch that, after countless denials that Obamacare is a tax, they defended this legislation in court, and it was indeed upheld in court, because it actually is a tax.

That is because Roberts re-wrote this. I wonder what this corrupt administration has on this chief fraud? There is so much going on all around us it's hard to keep up. We have become a banana republic.

No, the bananas were stolen long ago.

Is it possible for conservatards to ever tell the truth? I think not. You comments about Baucus, for instance, hav e NOTHING to do with the law, but with the way the information to the public is being released to the public.
The entire concept of 'mandatory' healthcare came from the conservatard thin tank Heritage foundation, under the guise of making everyone personally responsible.
Read the following and lern something correct for a change.

Who actually wrote the affordable care act?

Answers:

--Many people:

Healthy policy research experts, economists, pharmaceutical executives, insurance executives, some in Congress who have expertise in medical field, financial planners, hospital administrators, physicians, lawyers, Dept of HHS, Centers for CMS and other government agencies had input into designing the legislation.

--The Heritage Foundation, which is a conservative Republican think tank. They came up with the plan of private health insurance with a mandate forcing every one to buy personal coverage. This was intended to be the Republican response to Clinton's call for National Health coverage in the early 1990s. However all the squabbling led to nothing even though Republicans had control of congress. The plan was later championed by Mitt Romney when he was governor of Massachusetts and it was enacted with great success. More than 90% of the public responded to the mandate. The federal version or ACA was accepted by the first Democratic congress under Obama on the idea that Republicans would sign on. Of course the Republicans were more interested in defeating Obama for his second term than to vote for a good measure like health care, so despite being the "Republican Plan" it was passed with no Republican votes. The federal plan has more impact than just the Massachusetts plan because it also deals with Medicaid and Medicare issues that needed attention as well.
