I was watching news today and images of these kids screaming at NRA President Trump "Blood is on your hands!!!"..Today was National Walk Out Day...What it really should of been National Walk In Day...Teachers should of say to kids instead of screaming and calling people that dont agree with you all kinds of names why dont you kids stay in school, finish graduate and then if you want to change the world go into politics...and change it!!!.....Right now kids are doing dirty job of DNC!!! Of course what happened in Florida was horrible, but its not an isolated thing...It happened many times before, so my question is why Congress didnt do anything when Columbine happened, when Sandy Hook happened,when Polytech happened??Do you really think you gonna get rid of NRA??..Not a chance of these happening!!! 5 million members strong and counting!!!Do you really think you gonna get rid of all the guns??? There are 11 million guns out there....What we all need to do is remember what family used to be...For example in my family my parents knew who my sister's and mine friends were,,also we had real conversations at the dinner table..I know all my son's friends.But now in age of social media i understand how hard it is to keep with your teen,but we as parents have to, we dont have a choice!!Also you need to talk to your kids about bullying...We all been bullied at some point of our lives and its not fun!! i know i have been there..So teach your kids to stand up to bullies and protect those kids that cant protect themselves...Maybe then all this horrible nightmare will go away..Its up to us, adults to do something about it, and let kids study, go to school without being afraid of not coming home....I bet you most of these kids on TV probably dont know anything about the world..I bet they cant tell you how many continents there are, or where Uganda is, but they sure do know how to yell and call people names on TV...Its a shame that us grown ups didnt teach them better...So Congress this is your wake up call !!Do your job, and dont expect kids do yours!!!

I also have great faith in the youth of our nation. That is, as soon as they spend a few years serving in the military, raising a family, buying a home, paying bills and all the other things they have no clue about because they've never had to do them.
I remember the first Earth Day. There were massive walkouts or kids just didn't go to school. We got stoned, got laid, played some ball, listened to music and damn little trash got picked up, yet our media-sanctioned hookey playing was glorified by the media and we were the hope of the future. Our most common response was "huh?"
By the way, your 21 year old is not a high school kid. Most 21 year olds at least have the decision making part of their brains fully developed; 16 year olds almost never do. This is established medical fact. I have no problem raising the age of buying firearms to 21. I personally think they should raise the voting age to 21 or even 25, except for military personnel.
Don't make the mistake of allowing teenagers to dictate policy. You don't do it in your home but you are willing to allow it for your country?

WRONG! These kids are not fighting their own battle, they are the tools of the gun hating msm.

The msm doesn't care that more school kids die as a result of suicide than mass shootings.
The msm doesn't care that more school kids die as a result of cell phone usage than mass shootings.
The msm doesn't care that law enforcement failed at all levels.
The msm doesn't care about the "diversion" program that kept Cruz out of the criminal justice system, thus enabling him to by guns.
The msm doesn't care what CAUSED this tragedy, they only care about what they can use it for.
The msm doesn't care at all about these kids, except for their current usefullness!

If it were my children walking out of class to protest, I would have called off work and waited outside for them to come out. When seeing my kids come out I would have snatched the hell out of them and made them to get their asses back to class. Then i would have faced the teacher to ask WTF are YOU doing? Get your ass back in class too. You are on MY damn dime with my tax dollars paying you. Then I would have marched down to the school board and raised hell and filed a complaint.

To parents I say get control of your children. They are out of control because you let go of control. Now they think they can just walk out of class. They are protesting against themselves seeing that THEY are the ones doing the mass shootings. But according to those stank ass snots it is everybody else's fault. If most states have regulated the use of cell phones when driving, why are accidents continuing to happen unabated? We have also regulated and banned certain drugs, yet their use is on the rise. I don't see any majority of Americans wanting universal background checks, nor do I see them calling for restrictions on semi auto rifles. Anyone with a brain wants to keep guns out of the hands of unstable people, but just how do you propose to do that legally? (Not to mention effectively).
One more time.... only a tiny fraction of the purchase stops under our current background checks are ever prosecuted. What makes you think adding more restrictions would result in any more effective enforcement? If the current laws were rigorously enforced there would be no need for anything else. Passing new laws that won't be enforced either is just throwing good money after bad.
