No, it's completely ridiculous.

There is no proven data that fossil fuels or anything else has directly impacted earth's climate. 99% of the AGW "data" comes from computer modeling. The AGW movement never was about the climate, it is about money, a redistribution of wealth scam. The goal is holding down capitalism and establishing a global welfare state. In a nutshell, socialist ideology drives the AGW scam, not science.
The climate scientists and climate models that have long predicted catastrophic global warming from CO2 emissions are proven to be undeniably incorrect. The AGW hypothesis does not reflect climate reality. The actual empirical evidence proves the CAGW hypothesis to be irretrievably wrong. The climate sensitivity to CO2 levels is, at best, tiny. The natural forces of the climate will produce negative feedbacks that completely overwhelm the hypothetical CAGW positive feedback loop. Thus, while CO2 emissions will likely induce a slight warming, the natural climatic forces will dictate and dominate our climate future.UN IPCC Climate Chief Christiana-Figueres:
"This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model, for the first time in human history. This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the industrial revolution. That will not happen overnight and it will not happen at a single conference on climate change, be it COP 15, 21, 40 — you choose the number. It just does not occur like that. It is a process, because of the depth of the transformation."UN IPCC co-chair Ottmar Edenhofer and lead author of IPCC AGW resolutions :
“One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with the environmental policy anymore, with problems such as deforestation or the ozone hole. We redistribute de facto the world’s wealth by climate policy,” IPCC Researchers Admit Global Warming FraudHere's the deal concerning Iran, if those crazy bastards running the show over there get their hands on nuclear weapons, you will see some serious global warming and a significant reduction in earth's population.

When using Acronyms please put in parenthesis what they are referring to in order to avoid confusion by misinterpretation by the wrong assumption. For example, there are 22 acronyms to AGW, 3 pertaining to climate alone... Anthropogenic Global Warming, Anti-Global Warming, Accelerated Global Warming.
What the global collateral research tells us is that we not only make an impact on our world but that it is a huge impact which in turn is shifting not only our everyday weather but our world climate as a whole, which is a delicate balance for our survival. What it also says is that we ALL(world) need to be responsible for what we put out there. Simply put the golden rule...you make a mess, you clean it up. When any industry makes a mess, creates waste, it is THEIR responsibility to clean it up and to NOT dump and walk away with a wod of profit in their hands. If the cost is passed on to the consumer, they will either pay or go elsewhere. If their prices go too high, they'll price themselves out of business or figure out where to make the needed changes. That is true capitalism.

Hopefully, when Trump speaks of
infrastructure this kind of thing is included. We all saw what happened to New Orleans. When it comes to seawalls and levees it's far better to overbuild.
We certainly need levees more than we need high speed passenger rail systems. The delta in Sacramento comes to mind.

We're not gonna go there again Arch, and I do ride, love to ride horses and bikes, but not very practical when food shopping for a family is it...and once again you seem to be missing the point.
I've once ridden as far as 50 miles on my bike, can you beat that smarty pants

I don't know Mike, we can't hold back the tide, at some point houses and roads need to be way farther back. Her on the coast, the people with big money get to live on the shore, now, when Hurricanes come they mostly get to rebuild on the government's(our tax dollar) dime and their insurance, but the kicker here is they get to redistribute their insurance cost to the rest of the residents in the county. Another word our cost goes up by 25% to hold down their personal cost. At what point does the town say you can't build there anymore?
At what point does New Orleans say we can't rebuild there anymore? Does logic prevail?

that is not a good thing, they carry many diseases, many of which do not survive in cooler climates, not to mention many species of trees and plants that will die due to the warmer conditions. Being from the north originally I miss a lot of trees and plants I can't plant here in the south, just as northerners can't plant southern vegetation. There's a balance.

I was in the Boy Scouts and rode 50 laps on the Riverside Raceway (no longer there). I think it was 2 1/2 miles around and it was a road course with right and left turns and a very steep hill on the first turn. Man o' man was I ever
tired when I got done!

Yeah me too after the 50 miles, it was for a good cause though, the cause not to flunk high school over a gym class, it was my first choice when it came to cutting
easy to make up.
So the school gave us options, I chose the bike marathon LOL. You'd be surprised how many dead animals you pass in 50 miles, geeez. To bike around here you take your life into your hands for sure.
