I commend you for your defense, but here comes the vinegar. What I do object to is your ready acceptance of what so called ' experts ' are telling you.
I have followed this stuff for a long time, as you have. I do not simply accept what I am told just because the tellers have fancy science degrees. There have been plenty of proven cases where evidence has been tampered with. The thumb on the scale like the old time butchers. If Man Made Global Warming is a true phenomenon, then there is no reason to ever adjust the physical evidence to fit the foregone conclusion.
The evidence you have presented consists of what ? A twenty year period ? Every time I present evidence against Global Warming, such as an unprecedented cold snap or a snow storm in some place where it never snows I get told that short term events are not evidence. Well twenty years of data is very short term if you are arguing that the Earth's Climate is changing.
I am sorry that I have have been harsh. I have found our conversation instructive. I had never heard of Lake Urmia until you brought it up.

Wit, the stories of tampered cases are false. Aside from that it still comes down to overwhelming evidence as I've said from many many reports and not just on droughts but on so many other things like I've also stated. I presented this topic because it is yet another reason for the world to address the world heating up and that the lack of water causes strife and disparity which in turn leads to unrest and revolution.
A cold snap is not a case against global warming, a cold snap is the weather, not the climate. Climate is tracking year after year. You're correct twenty years is a short term based on climate change, but when you see rapid change in a relatively short time, that is then an alarm going off. These increases in extreme conditions such as in forest fires, category 5 hurricanes three in one season back to back, extreme snowstorms, droughts,on and on, is from the effects of... not what the US has done but rather what man has done and it is simply our responsibility to fix what we've been doing to the planet. To say we've had no impact, is a factual lie.

It was cheaper than the Colman fuel they sold in stores that had a greenish tint to it, huh?
I didn't know Coleman made fuel until after 'white gas' was no longer available. My father always used white gas so I thought that was the standard fuel for a Coleman. I bet Coleman fuel was more expensive than white gas, if only because the metal one gallon can added to the cost.

I bought Colman fuel for my lanterns, and stoves till my grandad told me I could use white gas in them. I don't remember the price difference, but the gas was way cheaper.
This is a perfect example of why we need our old farts. They know stuff!
I'm a middle age turd myself, but have the old far t mentality because I have, and continue to learn from them.
Nowdays, it's tough to get the young s**ts to listen to any sage advice. They know it all.

We are at an impasse because I believe the stories of data being tampered with.
I think there is no point in my continuing on this topic. I hope to converse with you again on future threads.

Probably good idea Mike. We use to have one, which made me feel good, unfortunately not being used it rusted out, it was used for in a lifeboat emergency. We have a well pump, but they can dry up or become contaminated. Plus it has to be filtered, very hard.
