You are right that the two women I know who had an abortion did it in the early 70's. I looked up the WIC program which is administered by the states. https://www.fns.usda.gov/sites/default/files/wic/WIC-IEGS-WEB.pdf You might be surprised at the limits and restrictions which are put on those receiving benefits.
Here is a short summary for those who receive Food Stamps: A provision in the 1996 welfare reform law limited individuals who are over age 18 and under 50 to three months of SNAP benefits out of every three years unless they are working or in a work or training program 20 hours a week.  Some individuals are exempt from this requirement, such as those who live with children in the household, those determined to be physically or mentally unfit for work, pregnant women, and others determined to be exempt from SNAP work requirements. So yes, there are some welfare queens, but perhaps not as many as some would have us believe.

I believe you are right. But do any of the local and state governments really adhere to those procedures? I believe that many that are supposed to be in control of the process simply look the other way when the people are of the minority race. I know example of the wife of a small contractor, who was having serious cash flow problems when his wife needed the help to have a surgery she needed they were told they made too much money. They failed to take into account the outlay for material which they still used as being an asset. So they were denied. They had to carry that debt for many years before they were able to pay the bill. I believe they were not approved just because they were not an minority. If any logical person would have looked at their income in a realistic manor they would have been approved.

We're already armed. Obama knew that as much as he and the international left wanted him to, he could not have taken away our guns. Molon Labe!
But the sunnavabitch certainly wanted to. He still does.

It's amazing how you knw what's in someone's mind. Why don't you find a quote where he says he want everyone's guns. How did he plan to do that.

You are really good at calling people names . I tell you what why don't you take a trip to Sandy Hook unannounced find the address of some parent who supposedly lost a child. Make up a story that you are a reporter and want to know more about what happened. Or better yet talk to the neighbors because they are probably not paid to lie.

If you think there would have been a different outcome with stricter gun laws, you are simply "DELUSIONAL".

Limits on WIC programs?? When I still worked and had a cleaning Service in Fla. one of my customers was a HIGHLY PAID Dr. and his Wife. They had a baby, and they got WIC for her. I asked the Wife how they qualified for WIC, and she said it was FOR anybody with a baby. NO MATTER WHAT the Monetary Status of the Parents, was!!

DNA Info says:
June 2010: Chicago's ban on handguns was ended by the Supreme Court in the McDonald v. Chicago case
• December 2012: Illinois' concealed carry ban — the last of its kind in the United States — ended in a court decision, though the state still restricts where people can carry concealed guns
• July 2013: The Firearm Concealed Carry Act went into effect, providing regulations for concealed carry
• September 2013: Chicago ends its gun registry
• January 2014: A judge rejected Chicago's ban on gun shops
How do Chicago regulations compare to those of other major cities?
While it's difficult to compare laws between major cities (especially since some of the laws come from the state), here's a chart that explains the basics of gun laws if you're in Chicago, Los Angeles or New York City. In some cases, New York City and L.A. do have tougher laws on the books:

So you are a "liberal?" What do you mean by saying this word? Today's "liberal" is one who is saying: "I believe in a government to solve the answers to ridding us of the obstructions to my "freedom;" The "bigger" the government the better the solution; I believe in a democracy instead of a democratic-republic; I am against "free market" economy because "freedom" must be "controlled;" I believe it is okay to say anything you want as long what you say is "inoffensive;" "climate change" is the real threat in the world even more so than ISIS; and etc.

Today's "liberal" is in reality a disciple of those "community organizers and teachers" who see a progressive Utopian World as being "naturally" usshered in by an "environmentally controlling-technologically- educated government elite who trumpet moral equivalancy to all religions."

Are you saying you are this kind of person?

You seem to have liberals tied up in a neat package. I believe that government needs to step in when states and local communities are unable or unwilling to meet a real need. On the other hand, I nearly fainted one day when I saw the number of federal agencies and how many people were employed by them. I am against corporations with no regulations because it seems to be human nature to try to get away with what we can: witness people obeying speed limits, but regulations need to be sensible and should not take 500 pages or an army of lawyers to explain. I believe we as a society have lost our respect for one another. Some of the name calling on this website is vicious and awful. On the other hand I have heard examples of where a university teacher was reprimanded because one of her students was "offended" and complained to the administration. There are good and bad people in all the major religions. I am a Catholic and ashamed of what many of our priests perpetrated on young boys for years and then how bishops swept that under the rug. But at the same time I am proud of Mother Teresa and thousands of others who dedicated their lives to the service of others. Yes, I take the words of an educated person more seriously than an uneducated one. On the other hand, my father never went past 6th grade but he was a very smart man. So when a majority of scientists tell me that the earth is warming up and that it will be catastrophic if we don't do anything about it, I tend to believe them. So I really wish you all would stop calling me a libtard, a Marxist, a Communist or worse. I'm just a person who has had different experiences than you and have formed different opinions because of that.

What about when ANOTHER MAJORITY of Scientists say it isn't??? And that was NOT a MAJORITY of Scientists that said it was. It was a HANDFUL of Scientists, PAID FOR by the perpetrators of the HOAX!!! A LOT MORE Scientists said it wasn't, than the ones that said it was!! BUT IF you can use COMMON SENSE, THINK BACK over the years, it is COLDER today in summer, than it was 30 yrs ago!!! It is COLDER today in WINTER, than it was 30 yrs. ago!!! COLDER, NOT WARMER!!!
