She was a Democrat of the old school. She actualy felt that the Goverrnment should not be a socialist arm. My only problem with her was her stance on guns and guncontrol. Too many people don't know guns and the average gun owner. ALL FEDERAL GUNCONTROL LAWS ARE ILLEGAL!!

To survive as a democrat politician seems Tulsi Gabbert got tired with their party's insistance that members must always follow and never disent. The "F" that the NRA gave her was while she was a Democrat. Since being an Independent she is having a sensible position on Gun Rights for citizens

Quote:
Gabbard's views on gun control and gun owners' rights have varied through the course of her political career.

During her time in Congress and throughout her p**********l campaign, Gabbard supported a common rifle weapons ban and universal background checks.[217] She received an F-rating from the NRA, a 0% rating by the Hawaii Rifle Association and a 100% rating by the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence for her time in Congress.[218]

Following her retirement from Congress, Gabbard's positions on gun control and gun owners' rights have slightly shifted to the right.

Gabbard has stated that she is a supporter of the Second Amendment. Gabbard says she believes the Second Amendment is necessary so citizens can "defend themselves and our loved ones, and to serve as a check on a tyrannical government seeking to take away our God-given freedoms."[11][12]

Gabbard expressed approval with the Supreme Court's ruling in New York State Rifle & Pistol Association, Inc. v. Bruen, which held that an individual's right to carry a handgun for self-defense outside the home is protected by the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution.

That's what amazes me about Democrats, today... To be a democrat now, one must lap up the kool-aid their party serves, put their blinders on tight, and v**e an all democrat ticket. RFK is finding that out now, the old Kenndy Democrats are now all gone and the Progressive, Woke, Socialist radicals have taken over.

The only way Trump and Republicans can win in e******n now , is for Independent and Moral Democrats see to it that a progressive (Socialist) democrat is never elected to office again.

No, she isn't a Democrat any longer and is now an Independent, like I am.

It is a problem. Two strong and differing personalities with the difficulty of subordination by the VP makes for a hard choice. On the other side, since the VP may become the president at some point, they must qualify for that post as well, not like the current numb-bunny.
Two names come to mind; De Santis, and Haley. In my view, they both qualify, but I lean towards Nikki Haley at the moment.

2 Good choices I was thinking about... Though I do like Tulsi Gabbard, even if she isn't a Republican.

I, and several other members, have been accused of antisemitism for being critical of the state of Israel's actions and policies...

It almost appears hypocritical...
We can criticize African nations without accusations of r****m...
We can criticize China without accusations of Sinophobia...
We can criticize Islam without accusations of Islamophobia...
We can criticize L***Q~ without accusations of bigotry or t***sphobia...
We can even criticize our own nations (although that often results in being called anti American)...

Yet, the moment a word is said against Israel or Z*****m (not Jews or Judaism) there is a barrage of accusations labeling us antisemites....

It's rather baffling...

So, I repeat, what is the proper way to criticize Israel???

Hoping for real feedback
I'm interested to know the proper way to criticize... (show quote)

I can only be critical of Israel actions if they cede to so called Humanitarian pleas and agree to pause or a cease fire with Hamas.

Israel is the only power that can finally free the citizens of Gaza from the "Hellish Hold" Hamas has on the Palestinians. The Collateral Damage would include Supporters of Hamas so we will never know the actual loss of life of these innocent civilians used as Human Shields and the ones supporting Hamas.

Eradicate Hamas and finally start the rebuilding of Gaza without the funds going to Hamas to wage more war on Israel.

Finally Free the Palestinians of Gaza!

What am i***t... yes, the poor suffering people of Gaza will only be better when Hamas is wiped off the face of the earth. Unfortunately, most Palestinians are too scared, weak, or compliant to never be free of this suffering... and because of their weakness the rest of us has to suffer along with them or do what Isreal is doing - eradicating Hamas.

It is not Palestinians... But Hamas (and of course Iran) that should be included in any debate with this War. Unfortunately we have Ole Joe and his appeasement that could make this World War III.

and of course with our borders wide open this war will be fought here too... Our Enemy is not at the gates. they're are already in with more and more pouring in by the day.

I'm sure missing a storng President in these Times of Peril.

Get the civilians out and drop a few MOABs (Mother of all Bombs = Massive Ordinance Air Blast) to exterminate the rats.

While Biden Barbecued

Rome burned down... but actually just 3 of the 7 Hills of Rome where Emperor Nero wanted to build his palace.

I wonder it Ole Joe is so befuddled that he doesn’t have a plan or not worry since
his “Handlers” will handle everything)

For Ole Joe, it’s those last Days of the Fall to still gets a chance to:

Drive his Vet with the Top down
Spend the last warm days on the Beach at his Home.
Have a BBQ catered outside at the White House

Party Heartly, Ole Joe… While you still can.
The Winter's Cold is fast setting in...

An Oligarchy. A lot worse than that. The FCC just fined DISH network 150,000 dollars for not moving a satellite out to a deeper space orbit. DISH attempted to move the satellite to a deeper orbit, but the satellite ran out of fuel. Since there are no tow trucks in space what exactly is DISH supposed to do. Maybe Since the FCC wants to regulate outer space they should take all the fine money they steal from individuals and companies and create an outer space towing company. I have always believed the only thing worse than a nation that taxes its citizens without representation, is a nation that is ruled by unelected people writing regulations that allow them to steal from the citizens as much money as they want.

I'm surprised that the Republicans have a majority in the House. The Dems should be able to take care of that minor inconvience come this next e******n... and we can live cradle to grave with them taking care of us... A True Socialist State.

If President Trump accepts the Speaker of the House position... That would put him "Two Heartbeats" to the White house.

I'm sure some twisted individuals are plotting that this might happens and never happens in this next years. Secret Service is going to be busy and I hope they are not interfered with by Biden's DOJ.

Wasn't it suggested that the CIA had something to do with both Kennedy assassinations (and poor old RFK Jr is being denied protection and hung out like bait.)

This country is sounding more and more like some "Banana Republic, actually an Oligarchy" (Which it has become)

Good Ole Joe just paid out $6 Billion to Iran in exchange for Hostages:

"Per the deal, Iran will release five American citizens detained in Iran and the U.S. release five Iranian citizens being held in the U.S."

Obama did the same thing with $1.7 Billion to Iran for four hostages held.

[former President Donald Trump wrongly boasted that his administration “got 58 hostages released from various hostile countries without paying any money, or giving up anything.”]

https://www.factcheck.org/2022/12/trump-swapped-prisoners-too/

Actually Trump did swap prisoners but it still seems that there were no massive cash payments.

Trump is a businessman, not politicians like Obama and Joe. Maybe they should've read Trump's "The Art of the Deal'?

Isn't it the way they deal with troublesome news... They just ignore it, no media air time, and stall until it goes away.

What ever happen to Lois Lerner... "On May 22, 2013, Ms. Lerner professed her innocence, then took the Fifth. Next day, she was placed on administrative leave. On September 24, 2013, Ms. Lerner’s retirement was announced with full pension. Nothing ever happens to the crooked Dims, it's only Trump and his supporters that are indited and prosecuted... Maybe I should be a Democratic v**er and keep a low profile to escape their Gestapo.

In a rabid Blue States like Georgia the Dims have the AG's, Grand Jurys (that don't allow a defense)Juror, and Judges to convict anyone that gets in their way.

When are we going to realize the left is following Alinsky's 3rd Rule for Radicals:
