Here is another way to look at it: The 2018 ACS shows a total 66,065 non-citizen physicians who arrived in the United States since 1980.1 This is around the earliest time that any current i*****l a***n could have arrived due to the IRCA amnesty.2 Nowrasteh and Landgrave would have us believe that nearly two-thirds of them are here illegally.3

Their illegal counts for some other healthcare occupations also constitute an implausibly high share of post-1980 non-citizens. In the table below, the first three columns are from Cato's Table 1, and the last two columns (in red) are our calculations from the same data. For example, 88 percent of all post-1980 non-citizen nurse-anesthetists are supposedly illegal, as are 71 percent of physician assistants.

In addition to obtaining an advanced education that is out of reach for most i*****l a***ns, doctors and other health care providers also need to be licensed, yet few states offer licenses to people who are not authorized to work in the country. Moreover, like doctors, many of these occupations (e.g. nurse-anesthetists, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants) typically require Drug Enforcement Agency registration so they can dispense drugs. In short, many of Cato's numbers do not just stretch credulity, they break it.4

The licensing requirement is the primary reason both Pew and the CMS, which produce the two leading demographic profiles of the illegal population, automatically count physicians as legal.5 CIS follows the same rule, and it is why we do not report an estimate for illegal doctors and other highly regulated medical professions in our analysis of occupations. This is not to say that the number of i*****l a***n doctors or other high-sk**led medical practitioners is exactly zero. Surely there are some, but no probabilistic method will be able to count them reliably.

I’ve dabbled in this site, but having seen how it’s administered to showcase a few obvious internet shills, it no longer captures my interest.

I realize that sites like this need advertising to survive so they need to attract low-information people who just want sensationalism, but this site just lacks depth and balance, despite the contributions of some good, rational forum members.

I wish you guys well, and Bad Bob, keep posting; you’ll hit your target, I am sure.

Many of those who received the false tests were nursing home residents.

The state said that it reported the flaw to the test manufacturer and the FDA. It has taken "immediate steps" to make sure patients have been notified - hopefully more than just forwarding them a copy of this article.

Even more alarming, the State Department of Health said the flawed numbers came “from a widely-used laboratory testing platform that the state laboratory started using on June 15.”

Acting Commissioner Deidre S. Gifford said: “We have notified the healthcare facilities for everyone who received a false positive test result from our state laboratory. Accurate and timely testing for the novel c****av***s is one of the pillars supporting effective response to the C****-** p******c.”

Adjustments have been made to ensure the accuracy of future tests, she said. Additionally, she said all positive tests will be further reviewed by "multiple laboratory scientists" and retested using another method.

We wonder how many other states are administering tests from the same "widely-used" platform..."

Joe Biden’s second son H****r B***n is in the news again— this time for allegedly fathering a child with a woman from Arkansas while he was still dating the wife of his dead brother. You may also remember Biden popping up in your newsfeed earlier in June, when it was reported that he got married to a woman he had only known for ten days. Now you may be asking yourself, as I asked myself: how can one man accomplish so much? How are there enough hours in a messy b***h’s day? What the fuck, H****r B***n?

Let’s begin our journey in 2014, when H****r was booted out of the United States Navy Reserve after failing a drug test and testing positive for cocaine. According to the Wall Street Journal, this was not H****r’s first “drug-related incident”—he had also “received a second Navy waiver because of a drug-related incident when he was a young man.” Okay, people use drugs. And rich people who use drugs never get in trouble for it. Messy? Barely.

But in 2015, an account in H****r’s name and associated with his email address was sniffed out by the r****t and generally repellent website Breitbart (ugh) as part of the massive hack of Ashley Madison user information, though H****r denied he had an account with the site. At the time, he was still married to his then-wife Kathleen, with whom he has three children. According to CNN, the account, which was created in 2014, stated he was an “attached male” for whom “anything goes.” It was also revealed that the account was paid for with a credit card in the name of “Robert Biden”—his birth name. (H****r is his middle name.) Now we’re reaching the messiness.

H****r and Kathleen formally separated that October, and at the end of 2016, she filed for divorce. In court filings, Kathleen alleged that not only had H****r slashed support payments to Kathleen—who had been a stay-at-home mom during their marriage—he had blown hundreds of thousands of dollars on strip clubs, drugs, and booze:

Her complaint alleges that H****r hasn’t sufficiently provided for the family after the couple formally separated in October of 2015. In late 2016, H****r ordered his office to cut Kathleen’s $17,000-a-month payment to $7,500, according to the complaint. Property records show that the couple owns a six-bedroom home in D.C. that was purchased for nearly $1.6 million in 2006.

Over the course of the separation, H****r has drained hundreds of thousands of dollars from the couple’s marital assets by “spending extravagantly on his own interests (including drugs, alcohol, prostitutes, strip clubs and gifts for women with whom he has sexual relations), while leaving the family with no funds to pay legitimate bills,” according to a Feb. 23 motion filed by Kathleen. The motion asks the court to stop H****r from further “dissipation” of the assets.

And while we’re here, let’s share some more details on H****r’s spending:

Despite multiple streams of income, “the parties’ outstanding debts are shocking and overwhelming,” according to the filing made by Kathleen. These include maxed-out credit card debt, double mortgages on two properties, more than $313,000 in tax debt and three bounced checks to their housekeeper.

Kathleen’s complaint accuses H****r of depositing more than $122,000 in marital income into his sole bank account while they were separated. He spent all the money in less than two months, according to the lawsuit.

On Feb. 17, the complaint says, Kathleen discovered that H****r was in possession of a large diamond worth about $80,000, which he later returned.

In the midst of all of this, and a few months after he and Kathleen had officially separated—but before their divorce was finalized in April 2017—H****r had begun dating Hallie Biden, the wife and widow of his brother Beau, who died of brain cancer in May of 2015. They confirmed the relationship in May 2017, and their relationship had the blessing of Joe and Jill Biden. “We are all lucky that H****r and Hallie found each other as they were putting their lives together again after such sadness. They have mine and Jill’s full and complete support and we are happy for them,” Joe told Page Six.

But at the end of April of this year, we learned that their relationship, too, had ended. It’s unclear why they broke up, but perhaps it had something to do with some of the news that has emerged in the past month—and I’m not even referring to H****r’s whirlwind wedding to Melissa Cohen, a Los Angeles-based woman originally from South Africa, in mid-May. (Little is known about Melissa—she owns a business called Tribal Worlds that works to “promote indigenous conservation,” according to the Washington Post—but girl, did you not Google your now-husband during any of the 10 days from when you met to when you got hitched?)

And there’s more! Not even two weeks after H****r’s wedding, Lunden Alexis Roberts, a 28-year-old woman living in Arkansas, filed a paternity and child support lawsuit against H****r stating in the suit that she and H****r had been “in a relationship” and that she gave birth to their child in August 2018—a time period when H****r had been dating his brother’s widow. According to Page Six, the two reportedly met while Roberts was a student at George Washington University.

Roberts “does not want this to be a media spectacle” and “does not want this to affect Joe Biden’s campaign,” Roberts’s attorney Clint Lancaster told the Democrat Gazette. “She just wants this baby to get financial support from the baby’s father.” Good luck with that!

H****r, for his part, has yet to respond to the suit or make any public comment. Nor has his father Joe publicly acknowledged that his son is a supreme fuck-up that may play no small role in derailing his campaign for president—honestly, this probably won’t derail his campaign because we’re not that lucky—but it was certainly notable that when Joe kicked off his campaign in Philadelphia, his wife, daughter, and grandkids were on stage, but H****r was not.

Yes. I meant Johnson's Great Society legislation.

But as far as Jim Crow laws go, they existed as laws because those rules could only exist without competition. Even in the most racially charged areas of the deep south, bussing companies that forced people to the back of the bus would have been run out of business by competition that didn't follow that policy. After all, most of the riders of public t***sportation were black. Establishments that forced b****s to enter through the back door or an alley door while w****s could use the front door would have suffered similar fate. And the school bussing legislation was h**ed by everyone.
Ronald Reagan had it right when he said the person to fear the most was the man who said, "I'm from the government and I'm here to help." and "Government isn't the solution to the problem, government IS the problem."
So much for legislation fixing social problems.
Yes. I meant Johnson's Great Society legislation.... (show quote)

The school busing legislation was opposed by people like Biden, because he didn’t want those black kids in school with his kids.

Incidentally, your use of the terms “public school” and “bussing” instead of “busing” make me wonder.

Former Vice President Joe Biden’s surviving son, H****r, hasn’t just dumped his wife for his late brother’s widow, he has squandered his family’s money on hookers, strip clubs and drugs, according to divorce papers obtained by The Post.

...

Beau would become Delaware’s attorney general and an Army judge advocate, serving in Iraq.

Before his brain cancer struck, he had been a contender for the Delaware governor’s seat.

Meanwhile, H****r waited until age 43 to join the military.

But his stint in the Navy Reserve ended a year later, in 2014, when he tested positive for cocaine, The Wall Street Journal reported at the time.

And H****r’s name cropped up in 2015 on a leaked list of users of Ashley Madison, the online dating site for married people.

He denied any connection to the site.

H****r is currently a partner in a small investment-management firm, Rosemont Seneca Partners, LLC, which has offices in New York and Washington.

Joe Biden declined to comment on the divorce on Thursday but told Page Six on Wednesday that the family is “all lucky that H****r and Hallie found each other as they were putting their lives together again after such sadness.”

As recently as December, as he prepared to leave the vice presidency, Joe Biden, 74, declined to rule out a 2020 p**********l bid.

“Four years is a lifetime in American politics,” he told CNN.

“And I think nominees are determined by their parties based mostly on what sk**l set is most needed at that time.”

Vice President Joe Biden's folksy-yet-awkward-uncle persona came out to play during a recent Christmas party, judging from a photo that Amie Parnes, White House Correspondent at The Hill, posted on her Facebook page.

The Daily Caller found the priceless image, showing Joe and Jill Biden greeting Parnes and an unnamed companion – and the vice president's right paw is not where the journalist expected it to be.

While Parnes is shown laughing uproariously, her own right hand appears to be blocking Biden's from roaming northward into 'War On Women' territory.
