Because there is no corruption. Can you imagine all this BS stsrting back in the 80's s when the Clintons came into government. They have been turned upside down inside out every hack site, conspiracy theories, government committees, everything that possibly could be said from misinformation, to flat out lies and still nothing. Just use some common sense and drop your ideological belief and h**e for the Clintons. Don't you think that over the last 38 years in public life that they could committ all this fraud, murders and felony and get away with it. There's a reason, they have done nothing wrong.
They have so many enemies on the right it's incredible and they still cannot prove anything. They have used committees in congress private investigators, the FBI, The CIA and still nothing.

You are so right. When we've had a criminal in the White House, the action was swift and decisive: Nixon. Though he was allowed to resign rather than face a trial and prison.

Fluff, the connection is not with this sad event. It is extremist Christians and extreme Muslims who believe that picking up a gun and heading out to kill people in Orlando, LA, Santa Monica, and God knows where else is a solution to dealing with any situation one doesn't approve of.
I posted 3 different videos of Christians suggesting that our gov't should kill "the gays"
if that isn't connection enough to depict what my thoughts are, I don't know what to tell ya.

And, we don't have to agree. LOL

Oh. I totally agree that religion is the bane of mankind's existence, and that extremists of any religion are a dangerous lot to everyone around them. People around the world are getting slaughtered by religious fanatics, Christians included. I just don't see how this particular incident is caused by Christianity.

hum. I am not sure this mass murder can be attributed to Christianity. I'd be more inclined to attribute it to domestic Muslim terrorism aided and abetted by the ease with which a guy like this can get access to the type of weapons needed to kill 50 and wound even more in such a short period of time.

Beautifully stated. Absolutely spot on. Just my 2 cents...

I watched the recent Arizona voting and Nevada primary with anger and disbelief.
Lifelong registered Dem voters waiting in line 5 hours in Arizona, some of them in wheelchairs, walkers, oxygen tanks and colostomy bags, many with small children in tow, and told they were not registered as Dems, therefore could not vote. The individual in charge, when asked who was at fault, said, with a straight face, " The people who stood in line 5 hours."

What? I was horrified. Some of them finally left because they had to go to work, or pick up children... or use the toilet.

Why were so many polling places closed prior to the election, without notice, in Arizona?

Nevada was another level of unbelievable b.s. Then Barbara Boxer showed up and taunted the crowd?

I live in Texas, and we have our own brand of FUBAR, make no mistake, I make neither excuses nor apologies.
Ted Cruz, GW Bush, LBJ, Rick Perry...you get my meaning...
Beautifully stated. Absolutely spot on. Just my 2 ... (show quote)

Even here in Washington, a liberal bastion, it was a mess. My own polling place was screwed up. It was at a junior high school that was also having a free hazardous recycle event the very same day. The entire parking lot was roped off. The only parking was on the street. It was in a hilly area. No way could a wheelchair be gotten through there without help. I drove around several times trying to find a spot to park. Two lane road, no shoulder. There were plenty of signs marking where to get to the hazardous waste event but none marking the primary location. If you could even find a parking place, if you parked in the wrong place you could end up walking as much as a mile over hilly terrain and no sidewalks much less shoulder on the road. Well, too bad for older people, disabled people, people with children. If I hadn't been so determined and in good shape, I'd have left without voting. In for a dime, in for a dollar. Sometimes I just get stubborn for the meanness of it. This was one of those times.

But the real kicker is Washington is a winner take all state. Although Bernie won the popular vote, all the super delegates were given to Hillary. What a colossal waste of time.

Here's a long but eminently readable, and dare I say balanced, article on Trump, by Elizabeth Drew, on his unsuitability to hold the highest office in the world. I realize most won't read it as people are pretty much used to sound bites these days, but a thoroughanalysis takes time.

Silly Poppa, the Left want nothing to do with "t***h", unless, of course, it's the t***h that they created. They're so wise, they never let the facts get in the way of what they choose to believe. For example, the left is always crying that Republicans is the party of the rich and are the biggots. Fact: those running for POTUS are all multimillionaires. In 2012, Warren Buffet, the richest man in America, campaigned for Obama. O set records for the most money in history donated to a campaign. The Dems get contributions from their wealthy fat cat friends(on his last day in office, Bill Clinton gave a pardon to an extremely wealthy Mark Rich, who had contributed millions to Bills' campaign in 1996. The Democrats like to think that minorities will automaticaly votr for their saviour, the Democrats. The Republicans get more contributions than the left(in the # of contributers, not the $ amount) The Dems get most of the million + contributions, the Republicans get way more contributions of $20.00 or less. Ever wonder wht the wealthy love the Left so much$? Could it be the favors they get after the e******n?

No it's because history shows the economy does better under democrats than republicans.

You are absolutely correct, but the democrats will not believe you. They will think you are lying. That's because they do not know their history or they are really the liars. They do this to get the low-information crowd on their side. It seems to be working pretty well.

What a gross reinterpretation of history that you swallowed hook line and sinker. I can't even begin to unravel the twisted version presented here but I'll take a stab at a couple of them. The Republican and Democratic Parties of the nineteenth century switched places over the years. The r****ts moved to the republican side years ago. If you think that the Civil Rights movement and the V****g Rights Act were the result of Democratic Party r****t tactics to garner v**es, you are so cynical as to be comical.

I was convinced for a while that Trump might actually win. I see this was extremely pessimistic. The guy does seem to be imploding in front of our very eyes. His supporters have been reduced to blithering i***ts. A coherent sentence can't be squeezed out of a single one of them. Their tactic is to throw every grade school insult hoping to deflect attention to the fact that there is no there there with Trump. Geez. What a loser.

You don't believe that people have the freedom of self determination?
People have a right to decide whether they want to live or die.
It isn't hypocritical at all.
So you can cherry pick if you wish. It is quite consistent, however.
I have said basically the same thing each time the subject comes up on a thread I am posting on.
People have a right to die when they choose to.

Social Darwinism kind of twists everything into a rationale for selfishness. This includes the mob being able to dictate when we die. Somehow, the twisted logic prevents people from getting past their greed, prevents them from helping people out of poverty, because it's racist to help people. Who knew? Jesus of the parables certainly didn't. Now that the white middle class has lost its built in safety net because the vulture capitalists came along and removed it in the name of profits, they've stooped to blaming other, even less unfortunate than themselves. They wring their hands over the high suicide, opioid abuse and early death rates of newly impoverished white people whose jobs got shipped overseas. Hey, greedy corporate henchmen and stockholders chose to take advantage of lousy trade agreements and screw these folks out of their ability to make a decent living for their families. Take it like the gun analogy. Just like a gun doesn't up and shoot people on its own, neither does a corporation act in a vacuum. It takes a good politician and a good demagogue like Coulter or Limbaugh to persuade people to turn all that around and blame it all on the poorest of the poor. Hey, even prison teaches us that the lower the stakes, the sharper the knives, but the prisoners do not see it. Their world view is very tiny and they can only see and react to what is in front of them, not realizing, as in Shawshank Redemption or Cool Hand Luke, that they are being manipulated into enforcing the warden's agenda.

True. The Clintonites are mostly a repulsive bunch of ignoramuses. But fraud is perpetrated by both "sides", has been for awhile. Electronic-voting machines were the final nail-in-the-coffin of anything resembling honest elections. With no paper-trail, rigging results became easy and ubiquitous.

Do not dismiss hanging chads, gerrymandering, labyrinthine primaries whose rules vary from state to state, ratfucking, smear campaigns, MSM pretty much manipulating the election news for profit, that nasty little DWSchultz pushing Hillary and denying resources to Bernie. Yes both sides. If people don't think the democrats have a problem they're deluding themselves. The entire system reeks from top to bottom.

And ignorant conservatives are already setting up to blame everything and everyone except their own bankrupt party and ideologies for Clinton's win. They are going to go nuts when she wins. We ain't seen nothing yet. The way they've treated Obama the last eight years will look like a cakewalk compared to what's in store for Hillary. Not to say that she's all that squeaky clean. I am not a Hillary supporter by any stretch. She never met a war she didn't support. What has the warmongering we've done the last ten years accomplished? Nothing.

Well, and Clintonites are setting up the Bernie bros for blame if she loses. Just like the dems did when Gore lost to Bush. Besides the FRAUD, the fact is Gore led a lackluster campaign. But many blamed Nader for Gore's loss. Bullshit.

I never implied that individuals should not take responsibility themselves, quite the contrary. Part of that responsibility entails not giving power to or supporting those who would only use it for their own self-interest and to perpetuate a blatantly rotten status quo. A real democracy, however messy at times, would call for more responsibility and more active participation in our own governance, which is supposedly what America is all about. But I think first people have to be willing and able to go a little deeper into things, and deal with the root-causes of relevant issues. The two front-runners are not even close to doing this.

You're right. I still think Hillary is the better option than Trump. Better the devil you know... The people have spoken. Or at least they've spoken through the corrupt election systems we've got, and they said they don't want anything to be any different. If anyone thinks Trump isn't the reincarnation of Reagan, who was an unmitigated disaster, they've got another thing coming. It's all status quo, with a little reality TV thrown in the mix.
