I think it is important that I point out a fact for the anti-gunners out there who constantly whine and make political hay out of every shooting that takes place in the US.
There are approximately 322,762,018 American citizens who did "NOT GET SHOT", on that day. This despite the fact that there are approximately 90,373,000 legal gun owners in America. They whine and snivel about a few thousand people k**led for what ever reason, every year, admittedly as sad as that is.
If the droning lying bastards want a cause to spend their time on they should consider that almost 1,000,000 American citizens go missing every year. Where do they go? Why aren't the FBI, Homeland Security, local police and even the IRS not looking for them? I would think the IRS would go looking for them if a million people all of a sudden stopped paying taxes, don't you?
Are they being used somewhere as s***es? How about the "New World Order" culling them from the population to reduce the numbers of "eaters" in the world? Personally I think it is a good bet that the US government has made a deal with extra-terrestrial aliens to harvest them and use them for their protein, in exchange for technology. Sound like something the US would do? I think that is as good a hypothesis as any. (By the way, that is 2,300 people every single day of the year.)
And one more thing, has anyone, especially the anti-gunners ever heard of a member of the NRA running amok and k*****g anyone? I never have. So get off their backs already they are not guilty of anything except protecting all American's rights to bear arms, whether they want to own a gun or not. Since when has it become "unfashionable" to protect and support the Constitution and Bill of rights? Unlike Obama and Clinton trying actively to destroy them for their "Socialist Agendas".

At some point, we as a country will have to reckon with the fact that this kind of mass violence does not happen in other advanced countries. It doesn’t happen in other places with this kind of frequency. It is in our power to do something about it. Notice that hit-and-run remark? "It is in our power to do something about it. The Politics in this town foreclose a lot of those avenues right now"
In case anyone forgot the White House, Senate, and House was controlled by democrats until 2014, and there were plenty of mass shootings then too. But, it's not guns that k**l people, it's the failure to write laws restricting freedom that k**ls people. Right. The president did not comment on the fact that even if all of the gun control measures he has supported during his presidency and in the Senate were law today that they would have stopped the k*****gs committed by a lone insane gunman. Nor did he bother to mention that, just like Sandy Hook Elementary School and the movie theater shooting in Aurora, Colorado, Emmanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church was located in a "GUN FREE" zone meaning there were signs saying "NO Guns allowed in this area". Dwight Eisenhower warned America about the "Military Industrial Complex", shortly after WWII. He saw it coming and knew the t***h. Unfortunately not enough people listened, and now it is too late. Trump is America's last hope to stop what is coming. If he doesn't do it, leaving America will become my only option. Patagonia sounds like a nice place to live, and it is farthest away from America as you can get. (They won't let civilians go to Antarctica, or I would go there.) The people here in the USA need to open their minds again and take a good look at what Socialism (C*******m) really is. They need to really consider what it would be like to live under such a regime. Unfortunately they won't, and that is why America has FEMA camps, why we had "Jade Helm 15", soon it will be "Jade Hell", when UN troops go door to door disarming and/or murdering or incarcerating citizens who do not readily cooperate. Why do you all suppose we had such an event. If the Socialist Democrats win this e******n, America will surly as I am writing this go "Straight to Hell" and not in a hand basket, it will be in coffins, (that America has already purchased and stockpiled in all major metropolitan areas.) I would say "God Bless America" but, I don't think God has that in mind any more."

How about protecting them from so-called profiling? It a cop comes up to me and asks to see my ID, I by God am required by law to show it to him under pain of arrest. Not so for Mexicans? Why the hell not?
I had to pass criteria that determines if I can r******r to v**e in this (MY OWN) country. Mexican's were given the v**e by our own corrupt Obama because he wants more people like Mexicans who will v**e Democrat because of Obama's gifts to them. I have to show my ID when I v**e, or do practically anything else, like cash a check, buy alcohol, get a drivers license, etc...etc...etc "ad nauseum." Why not the Mexican's? Police are ordered by Obama to leave Mexican's alone??? They are criminals from the start, and I have never committed a crime in my life. Yet I can be profiled, I can be ordered to produce identification on demand (for no reason they have to give me). I must identify myself to do many of the activities I need to do when I am just living my legal ordinary life. Obama and Hillary made careers on lying to everyone to get what they want. You are right, "It's all about the v**e". Unfortunately, they will lie to anyone and everyone about anything to get the Democrat v**e large enough so that America effectively becomes a "one party system". DEMOCRAT. When they get what they want, America will cease to be a free country, because they control the "V**E". They and their "New World Order" cronies will have converted America to the level of "Socialism/C*******m".

If you will recall any history of countries who practice tyranny, you will see that the common thread is that the Police have always been the first line of oppression against their own peoples. (Try to deny it.) The government of the United States is corrupt from Obama down. The police are controlled by the government and have to obey their "ORDERS" according to their "Oaths of Office". (Unlike Obama and the rest of the Junta running America) Of course the police are going to be ordered to protect the corrupt officials who control them. It is not the fault of the people who only want to keep their freedoms, it is the fault of the corrupt officials in our own government. The term "Rule of Law" is just a euphemism for "TYRANNY", when it is used as the "iron fist" that controls the people. Under the constitution, "We the People" have a right and duty to o*******w our corrupt government. Read the Constitution and see if that isn't true. (Again, try to deny it.) Now, open your jaundiced eyes and see what is actually happening in our beloved country. Socialism is not so slowly taking over America. Wasn't WWII used to stop it? Now along with Islamic extremists, Socialism is rearing it's ugly head in America again. As patriots, aren't the people supposed to oppose the subversion of America. I say we are.

If Trump is a "fraud, liar, c***ter", what does that make "Obama (keep your coverage, murdering an American citizen without due process), or Hillary (k*****g ambassador and covering it up, releasing secret emails etc...). Both of these villains have no right to be in any position of trust/power and/or leadership of America. Obama is a fraud from his first e******n on. Obama is the premier liar of this age, Hillary is number two, literally. (Pun intended). Trump is not a politician, (a very large point in his favor). Trump is a business man who has built up a multi-billion dollar fortune and made a resounding success of himself. Trump has a talent for recruiting knowledgeable people to handle problems and advise him in areas where he has no expertise. Trump doesn't rely on toadies and friends to fill important positions in his businesses. Trump is the sort of person who needs to run our country so as to bring it back to being profitable and successful. Not Like Obama who sent our land into an 18 TRILLION dollar pit of debt, by his own hand. (One might ask, "where the HELL did that 18 trillion dollars go? It didn't go into the military, or the infra-structure of this country, or the myriad of industries who had to leave because of the outrageous taxes levied on them forced them out. It sure as hell didn't go into our schools or institutes of higher learning. It didn't go into the aging roads/highways, or the bridges and rail systems here either. And it G*D damned well didn't go into our broken, health care system. We need Trump to save us from Obama/Hillary.

œVice is a monster of so frightful mien, / As, to be h**ed, needs but to be seen, the poet Alexander Pope wrote, in lines that were once, as they said back in the day, imprinted on the mind of every schoolboy. Pope continued, Yet seen too oft, familiar with her face, / we first endure, then pity, then embrace. The three-part process by which the gross becomes the taken for granted has been on matchlessly grim view this past week in the ascent of Donald Trump. First merely endured by those in the Republican Party, with pained grimaces and faint bleats of reluctance, bare toleration passed quickly over into blind, partisan allegiance he going to be the nominee, after all, and so is our boy. Then a weird kind of pity arose, directed not so much at him (he supplies his own self-pity) as at his supporters, on the premise that their existence somehow makes him a champion for the dispossessed, although the evidence indicates that his followers are mostly stirred by familiar racial and cultural resentments, of which Trump has been a single-minded spokesperson.

Now for the embrace. One by one, people who had not merely resisted him before but called him by his proper name who, until a month ago, were determined to oppose a man they rightly described as a con artist and a pathological liar are suddenly getting on board. Columnists and magazines that a month ago were saying #NeverTrump are now vibrating with the frisson of his audacity, fawning over him or at least thrilling to his rising poll numbers and telling one another, We can control him.

No, you can. One can argue about whether to call him a f*****t or an authoritarian populist or a grotesque joke made in a nightmare shared between Philip K. Dick and Tom Wolfe, but under any label Trump is a declared enemy of the liberal constitutional order of the United States the order that has made it, in fact, the great and plural country that it already is. He announces his enmity to America by word and action every day. It is articulated in his insistence on the rightness of torture and the acceptable murder of noncombatants. It is self-evident in the threats he makes daily to destroy his political enemies, made only worse by the frivolity and t***sience of the tone of those threats. He makes his enmity to American values clear when he suggests that the Presidency holds absolute power, through which he will be able to end opposition whether by questioning the ownership of newspapers or talking about changing libel laws or threatening to take away F.C.C. licenses. To say Well, he would not really have the power to accomplish that is to misunderstand the nature of thin-skinned authoritarians in power. They do not arrive in office and discover, as constitutionalists do, that their capabilities are more limited than they imagined. They arrive, and then make their power as large as they can.

And Trump announces his enmity in the choice of his companions. The Murdoch media conglomerate has been ordered to acquiesce; it is no surprise that it has. But Trumps other fellow-travellers include Roger Stone, the Republican political operative and dirty-tricks maven, while his venues have included the broadcasts of Alex Jones, a ranting conspiracy theorist who believes in a G*******t plot wherein an alien force not of this world is attacking humanity not to mention Jones marketing of the theory that Michelle Obama is a t**********e who murdered Joan Rivers. These are not harmless oddballs Trump is flirting with. This is not the lunatic fringe. These are the lunatics.

Ted Cruz called Trump a pathological liar, the kind who does not know the difference between lies and t***h. Wh**ever the clinical diagnosis, we do appear to be getting, in place of the once famous Big Lie of the nineteen-thirties, a sordid blizzard of lies. The Big Lie was fit for a time of processionals and nighttime rallies, and films that featured them. The blizzard of lies is made for Twitter and the quick hit of an impulse culture. TrumpÃlies arrive with such rapidity that before one can be refuted a new one comes to take its place. It wasn't his voice on that tape of pitiful self-promotion. O.K., it was but he never mocked the handicapped reporter, he was merely imitating an obsequious one. The media eventually moves on, shrugging helplessly, to the next lie. Then the next lie, and the next. If the lies are bizarre enough and frequent enough, they provoke little more than a nervous giggle and a cry of Well, guess hes changed the rules!

Hes not Hitler, as his wife recently said? Well, of course he isn't. But then Hitler wasn'tHitler until he was. At each step of the way, the shock was tempered by acceptance. It depended on conservatives pretending he wasn't so bad, compared with the C*******ts, while at the same time the militant left decided that their real enemies were the moderate l*****ts, who were really indistinguishable from the N**is. The radical progressives decided that there was no difference between the democratic left and the totalitarian right and that an explosion of institutions was exactly the most thrilling thing imaginable.

The American Republic stands threatened by the first overtly anti-democratic leader of a large party in its modern history an authoritarian with no grasp of history, no impulse control, and no apparent barriers on his will to power. The right thing to do, for everyone who believes in liberal democracy, is to gather around and work to defeat him on E******n Day. Instead, we seem to be either engaged in parochial feuding or caught by habits of tribal hatred so ingrained that they have become impossible to escape even at moments of maximum danger. Bernie Sanders wouldn't mind bringing down the Democratic Party to prevent it from surrendering to corporate forces and yet he may be increasing the possibility of rule-by-billionaire.

There is a difference between major and minor issues, and between primary and secondary values. Many of us think that it would be terrible if the radical-revisionist reading of the Second Amendment created by the Heller decision eight years ago was kept in place in a constitutional court; many on the other side think it would be terrible if that other radical decision, Roe v. Wade, continued to be found to be compatible with the constitutional order. What we all should agree on is that the one thing worse would be to have no constitutional order left to argue about.

If Trump came to power, there is a decent chance that the American experiment would be over. This is not a hyperbolic prediction; it is not a hysterical prediction; it is simply a candid reading of what history tells us happens in countries with leaders like Trump. Countries don't really recover from being taken over by unstable authoritarian nationalists of any political bent, left or right not by Peron or Castros or Putins or Francos or Lenins or fill in the blanks. The nation may survive, but the wound to hope and order will never fully heal. Ask Argentinians or Chileans or Venezuelans or Russians or Italians or Germans. The national psyche never gets over learning that its institutions are that fragile and their ability to resist a dictator that weak. If he can rout the Republican Party in a week by having effectively secured the nomination, ask yourself what Trump could do with the American government if he had a mandate. Before those famous schoolroom lines, Pope made another observation, which was that even as you recognize that the world is a mixed-up place, you still can't fool yourself about the difference between the acceptable and the unacceptable: Fools! who from hence into the notion fall / That vice or virtue there is none at all,he wrote. Is there no black or white? / Ask your own heart, and nothing is so plain; / Tis to mistake them, costs the time and pain. The pain of not seeing that black is black soon enough will be ours, and the time to recognize this is now.

When it comes to the office of President of the United States, the president and his whole family and all others involved from the cabinet to the joint chiefs should all live under a microscope. Their actions should always be of the highest standards and morality. Their conduct in public and in private should always be under scrutiny. Recent presidents have shown with out a doubt that they should be watched at all times by someone with the authority to bust them when they break the laws.

Despite the enormous manpower and time the Justice Department has dev**ed to this case, there has never been even a suggestion, let alone any evidence, that Clinton did any such thing.

But when it comes to the p**********l campaign, that isn’t going to matter. Republicans already know what they think: Hillary Clinton is a criminal whose every thought and action is vile and despicable, so of course she broke the law. If the investigation doesn’t show that, it could only be because the investigation was a sham. So they’ll just keep saying that this is a scandal, over and over and over.

As Bill and Hillary Clinton’s entire careers have proven, when you’re trying to take someone down, the next best thing to a real scandal is a phony one. Let’s not forget that when Bill was president, no alleged wrongdoing was too trivial to investigate, complete with dark insinuations about nefarious conspiracies and potential criminal behavior. You think the endless investigation of B******i is ridiculous? In the 1990s, congressional Republicans took 140 hours of sworn testimony on the urgent question of whether the Clintons had misused the White House Christmas card list. Seriously. That’s something that actually happened.

And the media, always operating on the rule that when it comes to the Clintons any smoke should be treated as fire — even if there’s a bunch of Republicans operating a smoke machine in full view — will offer endless breathless stories about the “scandal” and how it just shows that people don’t trust Clinton.

Now, when is some judge going to find Obama in contempt of court for not obeying the laws of the United States?

The Arizona sheriff notorious for his disdain of immigrants was found in contempt by a federal court on Friday for repeatedly violating court orders to stop racially profiling Latinos.

A hero to the anti-immigration movement, six-term Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, together with three deputies, were found in civil contempt by United States District Court Judge G. Murray Snow for disobeying his orders requiring Arpaio and his deputies to stop detaining Latinos based solely on the suspicion that they were in the country illegally.

“In short, the Court finds that the Defendants have engaged in multiple acts of misconduct, dishonesty, and bad faith with respect to the Plaintiff class and the protection of its rights,” Snow wrote in his ruling.

The case stems from the 2011 civil case brought by Latino drivers and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) against Arpaio and his deputies. In May 2013, Snow determined Arpaio had encouraged his deputies to scrutinize Latino drivers more than white drivers during traffic stops. Snow said Arpaio’s office profiled and illegally detained Latinos, violating their constitutional rights, and ordered a significant overhaul of the sheriff’s office practices. However, Arpaio and his top deputies repeatedly — and publicly — ignored the court’s orders.

At a Houston rally in 2015, Arpaio told supporters that he had violated the order “out of spite” and had arrested 500 people. He also admitted to letting his officers conduct immigration patrols for 18 months following the court’s order to cease the practice.

Arpaio, 83, who calls himself “America’s Toughest Sheriff,” was also accused of launching a secret investigation into Snow and his wife in an effort to get him removed from the case.

In his ruling Friday, Snow also found Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Jerry Sheridan, retired Chief Brian Sands and Lt. Joe Souza in civil contempt.

Snow scheduled a hearing for May 31 to determine options to compel Arpaio and his deputies to obey his orders, including one option of appointing an outside agency to take over the sheriff’s office. The case can also be referred for federal criminal prosecution that could expose Arpaio and his deputies to fines and jail time.

“Any public official who has been found guilty of racial profiling and ignores the orders of the court cannot be entrusted with the safety and well-being of the community and should step down in shame,” the immigrant rights group Puente Arizona said in a statement Friday.

“The court has found that Sheriff Arpaio intentionally and repeatedly violated federal court orders,” said Cecillia Wang, director of the ACLU’s Immigrants’ Rights Project, in a statement. “His recalcitrance ends here. Strong remedies are needed to protect the community’s rights, starting with internal investigations that root out and punish misconduct. Willing or not, the sheriff will be made to comply with the law.”

MacCarran Walter Act of 1952
Trump was recently severely criticized for suggesting that the U.S.
should limit or temporarily suspend the immigration of certain ethnic
groups, nationalities, and even people of certain religions (Muslims).
The criticisms condemned such a suggestion as, among other things,
being “Un-American,” dumb, stupid, reckless, dangerous and r****t.
Congressmen and Senators swore that they would never allow such
legislation, and the president called such a prohibition on
immigration unconstitutional.
As Gomer Pyle would say, “Surprise, Surprise !!!” It seems that the
selective immigration ban is already law and has been applied on
several occasions. Known as the McCarran-Walter Act, the Immigration
and Nationality Act of 1952 allows for the "Suspension of entry or
imposition of restrictions by president. Whenever the president finds
that the entry of aliens or of any class of aliens into the United
States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, the
president may, by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem
necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as
immigrants or non-immigrants or impose on the entry of aliens any
restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”
The act was utilized by Jimmy Carter, no less, in 1979 to keep
Iranians out of the United States, but he actually did more. He made
all Iranian students already here check in, and then he deported a
bunch. Seven thousand were found in violation of their visas, 15,000
Iranians were forced to leave the United States in 1979.
It is of note that the act requires that an applicant for immigration
must be of good moral character and "attached to the principles of the
Constitution.”

Since the Quran forbids Muslims to swear allegiance to the U.S.
Constitution, technically, all Muslims should be refused immigration.

Your so right. The elite have already taken it upon themselves to move out of America so they won't be when it hits the fan. For instance, the Walton family (owners of Walmart) have moved themselves and most of their relatives to a skyscraper in Hong Kong that they own. Many more of the elite families of America have moved to places like the "Cooke Islands" north of Australia and built their mansions on personal islands where they will be out of country when it hits. Many more elite families are slated to move into one of the many underground cities that the US
government has and are in the process of building, for the same reason.
Everyone "in the know" is vacating like rats deserting a sinking ship. A few stalwart families are turning their estates in this country into personal fortresses, with masses of food, ammo, survival gear, some have even hired mercenary army's to protect their estates when starving masses start to arrive from smashed cities. Seems like end times, eh?

I would be more in favor of a gene therapy program that one by one go's through a persons genetic structure and replaces any defective or undesirable gene with one that is pure and beneficial. Eventually you should arrive at a human specimen that is "perfect", at least with his own genetic structure. Eventually, if carried to it's logical end, every person on the planet would be at the peak of evolution's ability to perfect an organism. Might take a while at first, the DNA spiral when unwound is very long. Research would at first have to focus on determining what is a genetically perfect gene. I can't think of what they would use for comparison, but then again I am not a geneticist. It would be a very interesting project.

Relative to your question of would I give it to my child to suppress the "potential of such?"
