Why the desperate need by the GOP to close v****g on Nov 26? Are Republicans barred from v****g on that day? Shouldn't we be making it easier to access v****g not to try to restrict it? Attempting to restrict v****g failed to help Republicans at Midterms.

Why the desperate need by democrats to keep v****g open for weeks and needing several more weeks to "count" the v**es? By the way wasn't it the Roe decision by the rabidly radical supreme court the stopped the "red wave", or is that just last week's explanation? If your worried about v**er suppression when there is record turn out by all legal demographics, maybe it's time to reconsider your point of view.

Tell me Chucky, what's wrong with having less people? Wouldn't that support all of your goals? Less pollution & trash, less crowding & homelessness, less strain on agriculture & ranching. OH I know what concerns you, less money for the government to waste. Poor baby, suck it up Chuck.

Also less chance of turning the country into his democratic-socialist (sic) fiefdom.

Sorry, but how much can we do with such slim majority?

Hopefully keep Biden and company from spending a few extra trillion $ and fueling inflation even more and blocking extreme legislation like the proposed federal takeover of e******ns. It's a stop-gap situation but an improvement over the last 2 years.

Can you cite one piece of introduced legislation that promotes any of these?

The best thing that either party can do for the people is to get out of the way. Period. The job of the government is to protect the people and not coddle them in every aspect of their lives. Americans have proven over the last 250 years that they can make this thing work. Democrats continual excuse for interfering is that the rich people are going to take it all. Free market capitalism has lifted more people out of poverty than any other system yet government still feels the need to come in with their restrictions and interfere. There have been many government programs that have been beneficial and they should be strengthened. The problems appear with deciding the best means to do that.

The democrats love to proposal all kinds of programs to "help people". Now if they could just learn to honestly evaluate the programs to see if they are doing what they say. "helping people" or more likely "helping politicians, bureaucrats and donors".

E******ns are bipartisan and close races take longer with military v**es coming from overseas and recounts to insure accuracy.

And why did this suddenly become such a big problem. Before massive mail-in b****ts and drop-boxes e******ns were also bipartisan and military v**es had to come in from overseas, but for some reason generally got here before e******n day, not two weeks after.

That's the response from many NPCs (Non Player Characters) when the subject comes up.

But check out: https://www.rain-makers.org

And have a look at some of their work!

And here’s a screenshot of their process:

Wow. With it being so evident that people can control the weather, it makes you wonder why the government isn’t using this to help places in the US dealing with droughts right now.

Doesn't this assume that there is enough water vapor in the air to allow raindrops to form? If there is no (or very little) moisture seems like no matter what you do it would be very difficult to get it to rain?

Because it takes power away from the educational bureaucrats and the teacher's unions of course, and remember they are so much smarter than mere parents.

I've been saying it since Obama was elected in 2008. We're screwed!
The Dobbs decision didn't help any, and the Democrat candidates were able to capitalize on that issue with their base even though it wasn't nearly as important to conservatives. Who knows what goes through the minds of liberals and l*****ts?

What! They actually have a mind?

As for Fetterman, I can't say much about his policies because I'm not from Pa and haven't read about them. I have my own problems in IL. But I have read a lot about his recovery form a stroke. Based on that alone, I would say, "Not ready for prime time". Apparently his comprehension of things is lacking, and his ability to express himself is lacking. As such, he would be nothing but a follower of Schumer's dictates and as such, not worthy of being a Senator. Let the poor schmuck recover first. Spend his time on that and not get caught up in being a safe v**e in the Senate because he can't think things through. We don't need another democrat laughing stock up there, like biden.

How much were you paying into it 49 years ago ?
Like about .18 cents. ?

It appears that you are not very good at math. At 0.18 cents per week and the minimum social security payment of 3%, gives a wage of $3.12/year! Perhaps you meant 18 cents ($0.18) , but that works out to an income $312/year.
Could you be trying to be sarcastic? If you did a bit of research (yes that does mean considering some boring facts) I believe you might find that it was more like $18 out of maybe $250/week.

That post is also a lie.

Even if your are correct and the trust funds are still secure in some lockbox inside Fort Knox, Social Security is going to have to deal with revenues falling short of outlays after the trust fund is exhausted around 2034. Roughly 25% of payments will need to come out of general revenues (assuming no other changes are made) and it will simply compound the government's (aka as "the people") spending addiction.

It seems that not never being able to hold a real job is why many people go into politics. No experience or accountability required.

“As Californians were getting ripped off at the pump, big oil companies like Exxon were making record profits – literally the most ever in a single quarter. Oil companies said high prices were because of war, state taxes, and maintenance, but now we know that was all a facade – these high prices went straight to their bottom line. It could not be more clear that a price gouging penalty is needed to hold big oil accountable and put those profits in the pockets of Californians,” said Governor Gavin Newsom. From July to September alone, Exxon and Chevron reported Q3 profits of $30.9 billion, all while Californians were paying higher gas prices despite the cost of crude oil being down. For Exxon, the $19.7 billion is the highest quarterly profits in its history, while Chevron’s $11.2 billion were its second-highest in history.

This follows Valero’s $2.82 billion in profits that were 500% higher than the year before, PBF Energy’s $1.06 billion that was 1700% higher than the year before, and Shell’s $9.45 billion haul that sent $4 billion to shareholders for stock buybacks.

If I may ask, how much profit (= tax revenue) does the state of CA make per gallon for doing nothing more than demanding to be paid? The market value of Exxon-Mobile is ~ $400 billion, so if the stockholders sold everything and put it in government bonds paying 3% - 4%, you'd still think of them as greedy bastards out to rip off the public?
