The best thing that either party can do for the people is to get out of the way. Period. The job of the government is to protect the people and not coddle them in every aspect of their lives. Americans have proven over the last 250 years that they can make this thing work. Democrats continual excuse for interfering is that the rich people are going to take it all. Free market capitalism has lifted more people out of poverty than any other system yet government still feels the need to come in with their restrictions and interfere. There have been many government programs that have been beneficial and they should be strengthened. The problems appear with deciding the best means to do that.

crap and cleaned up the va. Now they can get at least pretty much decent medical care . Now trhe demorats had since ww2 to help the vets but didn't do anything but give them lousy service.
