If politics is war by other means, we have been engaging in 'civil wars' since day 1.

It would behoove folks who think that 'civil war' is here, coming, or might be a good thing, to consider the definitions of s******n and r*******n against the government.

And yeah....every time the right loses an e******n they start the 'civil war' whine.....and then blame the Democrats for starting it because they won. Sad!!!!

The meme did not address asylum seekers, so neither did I...

They are yet another category and should not be lumped in with i*****l i*******ts...
The children separated are not immigrants, but asylum seekers.. It was handled poorly... I agree that changes need to be made to the system... But I also agree with separating children from individuals who can't prove parenthood...

In my opinion the Dreamers deserve a pathway to citizenship.. But their parents are still guilty of breaking the law and should not benefit from this... I believe that several offers have been made and rejected from both sides of the aisle.. .

There will someday be a realistic solution implimented on the immigration problem. Ou current system is plagued with pre concieved notions and bickering factions and the lives of Human beings are meaninless to the effect that there is no solution. The problem will not go away on its own. We have work to do and it is time to get real. Our system is broken and on that much we can agree. How are we going to fix it? Are we Americans who believe in justice and freedom for all people or are we trying to destroy that belief ?

The newest "Civil War" is only a propaganda setup. It is an insane idea and if we go along with it we will all lose. As a soldier it was my duty to protect all Americans regardless of their political beliefs. It seems like Conservative publications wish to quash that idea and warn people about the "civil war" while at the same time encouraging one. This is America land of the free and we need to not let an insane idea such as civil war because of political party affiliation infect our country. I reject such an unpatriotic notion and so should all Americans who can think on their own.

Early settlers were colonizers... Many were seeking a better life... There was no i*****l i*********n... As there were no recognized nations...There was resistance from the Natives... They lost... A new country was born..

Legal immigrants have every right to be in the country.. They followed the rules...

I*****l i*******ts have no right to entry... If they are colonizers then they should be resisted... If they win then they may raise a new nation and resist invasion in turn...
To the point-- I do have to say though that legal asylum seekers are not criminals but are being treated that way. There are so many aguements justifying this policy yet the problem goes unsolved. What are we going to do about the thousands of separated immigrant children that the Trump administration says are now impossible to be reunited with their parents? Trump says it would be "Too Traumatic" also what is the realistic thing to do about Latins who came here as small children and are American in every way except by birth certificate?

It just came out that the US is permanently cancelling large scale war games with South Korea. A big win for North Korea and we get nothing in return. That's strong Patriotic leadership? Trump says is too expensive-- mustn't dip into his rally fund.

Because they always seek to milk the middle class taxpayer. The middle class taxpayers are like Cows and Goats. Cows and goats give milk, but not like taxpayers. Middle class taxpayers are the Mother Load of Cream. Democrats just love to spend taxpayers' money. It is better than sex to them, and the sex is pretty good in DC, California, New York State, Virginia, and most any other Democratic Party stronghold. When you can screw the taxpayers, over the way California's politicians did on that high speed chew chew train, and then just walk away, well it is time for a cigarette. And the taxpayers didn't even get a kiss or a few drinks.

But what I'd like to know is, how do they keep getting away with it ? Well Little Jonnie, I am glad you asked. What the Shysters do is appeal to stupid people. Stupid people like to get something for nothing and Democratic v**ers are a special kind of stupid. It begins like this. " Hey Mr. Mrs. Ms. , T*********r Person, wh**ever, would you like a worry free life ? Would you like gobs and gobs and gobs of free stuff ? You would ? Great. "

" Okay now listen up. See that rich guy over there ? "- " Uh yea ah do. " - " Well he got way way way more stuff than you do. " - " Uhh so ? " - " He got his way more stuff by screwing good folks like you. " - " He did ? " - " Yes-siree Bob, he did. " - " Now I'm really angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry. " - " You can have just as much stuff as that rich guy. V**e for me and I will take his stuff and give it to you. " - Okay Ah will. "

However, taking the rich guy's stuff will not raise enough money to meet the promises of the shysters. Besides, if you really take all of the rich guy's stuff there will not be any jobs for those schmucks who you are really going after. The middle class working man and woman. That is where the real money is, the milk. So while you are raising some taxes on the rich guys, which the smart ones can avoid thanks to the tax loopholes you will throw in, you will raise taxes on the middle class, which was the whole point, anyway. Nobody can complain because this was all about finally getting back at that rich guy.

Okay, now that the Democrats have retaken the House of Representatives, I want to hear a lot of Mewing and Baaaing as you cows and goats freely give your milk to your new masters. And I do not want to hear any whining about those cold milking hands. You stupid aminals wanted the free stuff, well now you have to pay for it. So just shut up, give up your milk, and smile.
Because they always seek to milk the middle class ... (show quote)

My name with the last name of my first husband being the w, and revagent, as it is supposed to be, stands for "revenue agent" which was my title from the Wisconsin Department of Revenue. I was the proverbial tax collector. But to be honest, it was not the collection I enjoyed so much, as the opportunity to help people resolve the problems they had with the tax department, both Fed and State. I sometimes worked with Revenue Officers (tax collectors) from the IRS.

That is a good thing actually that you were doing. I once a customer who represented people with tax problems.

Hi! My name is Joan, I am a retired EA (enrolled agent enrolled to practice before the IRS). I was inactive for several years because I worked for the WI Department of Revenue as a revenue agent-compliance section. Have spent over 30 years either preparing tax returns for various clients, or collecting past due returns and delinquent tax. Not nearly as exciting as you might think, and certainly not as awful, either. All types of tax from sales and wh to income, trust fund and corporate. I am conservative socially and politically as well as religiously-I believe in a 6 day creation and a 6000 + year old earth. I am also a senior citizen, having retired over 10 years ago at 65. Married to my second husband since 2004, adult children and grandchildren and otherwise normal. I love horse racing, and was involved in local elective politics for several years. Love my country, and my God and family.

I agree with Vernon, property taxes should end at the retirement age, including school millage taxes because old
retired persons no longer have the income to pay these expenses and no government, Federal or State should ever be able to take some elderly persons home period. The governments should not be involved in making anyone homeless period.

I can go along with that

Who is in charge of "the market" and decides how much it'll pay? What I find appalling, is that the price of your corn flakes is determined by a bunch of folks hooting and hollering on the floor at one of the wall street exchanges, folks who've never had dirt under their fingernails.
In my case I just push my luck as far as I can. I am still middle of the road. If I were too cheap I would get every job but I work myself to death to barely survive. If I am too expensive I would go without work for long periods at a time and would also starve.

'I Want This Thing the Old Man Put Inside Me Taken Out.' 11-Year-Old Argentine Girl Denied an A******n
The girl, who was raped by her grandmother's parter, requested an a******n
An 11-year-old Argentinian girl who was denied an a******n received a caesarean section this week, sparking a new debate about the country’s strict a******n laws.
The BBC reports that the child, who was raped by her grandmother’s 65-year-old partner, had requested an a******n. Confusion over the girl’s legal guardianship caused the a delay until her 23rd week of pregnancy, at which point doctors argued it was too risky to carry out the procedure.
The girl’s mother had approved an a******n, but since the child lives with her grandmother, the mother’s consent was deemed insufficient. The grandmother’s approval was also considered inadequate since her legal guardianship was terminated over her relations with the rapist.

Several doctors reportedly refused to perform the procedure due to personal beliefs. The baby was born alive, but doctors said its chances of survival are poor, according to the BBC.
Local media reported that the girl was clear about her desire to end the pregnancy. “I want this thing the old man put inside me taken out,” she told officials.
That the girl was forced to deliver the baby via c-section has caused uproar among human rights activists.
“When this 11-year-old rape victim entered the hospital requesting a legal a******n, the authorities’ number one duty should have been protecting her life and health. Instead, they put up obstacle after obstacle with the sole aim of denying the girl her rights,” Erika Guevara-Rosas, Americas director at Amnesty International, said in a statement.
While a******n is illegal in Argentina, a 1921 law allows the procedure in cases of rape or where a women’s health is in danger.
In August 2018, the Argentine Senate v**ed against legalizing a******n in the first 14 weeks of life.

A tragic story-- There are those who believe in birth no matter what the cost. The same zealots who rail against a******n would make sure their 12 year old got an a******n if she were impregnated by a group of B****s.
