I do and I don't. In a way, no matter what a person has done, no matter how heinous an act by society, we are to look for his repentance, and show mercy. Rape, torture, and sexual abuse of a child. I have to be a heartless asshole not to want them dead in the worse possible way. Nothing can make up for what they have done, no punishment sufficient. But I am supposed to look to their salvation. Is that just?
