I have been absent. I have been putting in 14, 16, 18 hour days getting my new business going. My former employer has dropped any further action against me. and I have dropped my counter suit against them as promised. Moving on.
I took $275,000 in combined loans with my house, my land, my animals, my vehicles, even a lot of equity in my other businesses, most of everything I have to start my this business. Failure is not an option.
On the good though, all monies are now available so I am not struggling any more to make payroll and such. I have a nice office space, I am now at 13 employees, gaining an average of at least one new client per week. I am in the black for the first time since jumping in.
The bad though, my oldest existing LLC expires in May of next year and I am not eligible to license another one until then unless I pay a $25,000 fee to pay for the federal licensing commissions cost of canceling and establishing a new LLC under my name. (you are limited as to how many LLC licenses you can hold, I have to expire one, or pay the penalty in order to apply for another, this is not the governments fault, I have multiple businesses so that is just how it is).
This is going to be my legacy, what I leave to my children. I am going to shut down every thing else, and really go legit, or I am going to lose everything. Cross your fingers for me please.

For those who may think I am a fool, and putting my family at risk, I have been investing in gold since 1998, I also have a very good life insurance policy, the VA pays all of my burial costs, full family benefits, hell I am worth more dead than I am alive! My daughters college fund sits at roughly $170,000. And it is liquid, as is the gold, and I have $35,000 equity in my life insurance policy that is also liquid. These are what I consider untouchables though, they are for my family, not me.

Any way, I am seriously short on time in my life right now, so I will be here when I can.

We have seen the enemy, and he is the Democrats.

You see this is the problem. This is not being done by the Demos (appropriate though is it not? America is being de-constructed and the Demos are in control). This has nothing to do with political parties, it has everything to do with liberals. Liberals are inherently socialistic, they believe in change from the established way of doing things, what our founding fathers built this nation to be. (meaning there is no guarantee of anything, except the absolute freedom to make your own way without government control). Liberals believe that everyone should have the same thing no matter what, I mean it is only fair right?
They know that there will be a majority of Americans who disagree with this and will stand there ground to keep their freedom.
They have tried over and over again to disarm us through legislation with little success due to the people shutting them down. Since that has not worked, they are now militarizing local police forces. It takes a lot to declare martial law which is under federal control and is the mobilizing of military forces to re-establish control of civil disorder that is beyond the capabilities of local law enforcement. Only the president can authorize such an action, but now our local police are para-military organizations with little or no oversight from anyone.
The federal government is pouring billions of dollars into militarizing police organizations across the nation. Given every thing else that is going on right now, it really only takes a minimal effort towards common sense to see what they are dong.

What do you think of when you see these pictures, A military squad operating in a war zone? Nope, this is the Oregon state police searching a wooded area for a fugitive. And this is what they drive. Everything they are wearing, the assault rifles, and the MRAP vehicle are all military issue. All of this equipment is quietly being distributed to local and state police agencies around the country under federal grants. Police agencies around the country are requiring officer training in military tactics and combat readiness. They are also currently re-writing the definitions under which military commanders can intervene in civil matters. This is scary people!

Now why would they report on all of the heroic and good things people do when it's much more sensational to report the ugly.

The thing is, I had not heard about 85% of what is on this site until I saw it there. It may be sensational local news stories but it is not making it to national.

It sure did not take long after Obama's executive order 13653 for the EPA to get rolling. The chances of them legally taking control of sections of mine and others in this areas land just increased tremendously.

I would agree with you.

That is actually true. Different theory but true none the less.

Reading through some of the replies about traffic stops by the police makes me want to clarify a few comments.
1. A traffic citation IS an arrest. It's a copy of charges in most cases. That means you can go on your merry way w/o going to jail after receiving a ticket.
2. Failure to obey an officer's lawful command (for example refusing to exit your vehicle after being stopped for a moving violation) will only get you locked up. You'll be charged with obstruction, have your vehicle impounded and be made to post bond.
One more thing. We're living in a "crime state." We're a long way from being a "police state." During my time on the PD I knew of numerous guilty murderers, rapists and other felons who eluded justice because we couldn't violate
their rights. There IS one change I'd like to see made to the Constitution. If you are a convicted felon then you lose your right to hide behind the 5th amendment. Nearly overnight, the serious crime rate would plummet.

Umm, you just described a police state. Just because someone committed a felony in their past, does not mean they will commit felonies in the future. Besides, if all of the world goes to hell, who would you want by your side, a person willing and ready to k**l, or your average law abiding citizen?
We veterans are being criticized as threats to society because of our military training. Some even think we should be environmentally controlled for public safety.
Just ask yourself who you would want to follow. A trained combat veteran, or a person who sits in safety giving orders?

If I am a free American, why must I submit to such an archaic method of control? Does the presence of authority negate my personal freedom? This is very reminiscent of N**i Germany where the authorities had total control over non-military personnel. Are cops all powerful? According to the law they have the power to override our constitutional rights. But they work for us, right?

Exactly, when that happened to me I was like 28 years old, I can not say that I would handle it any different now as then, but you are powerless, and they could care less about anything but trying to find some reason to bust you, and as far as they are concerned you are guilty until proven innocent. They can detain you on the side of the road until they are satisfied. Whether or not you are innocent of a crime is irrelevant and then what do they say, have a nice day and Mine was 16 years ago. Can you imagine how much worse it's get

ting? We are seeing it get worse every day.
Seems like the honest citizens are the "bad people" anymore.

It does indeed. It is only a matter time until we are caught between the criminals and the police with no way to protect ourselves, and one will become the other eventually.
I am not worried, I have a CCW and am smart enough to fear the government as much if not more than I fear criminals. I can at least bargain with criminals, there is no bargaining with the government.

Re-read your post as more than an antagonistic reply and do some research as to what you are actually talking about. Your reply may seem innocuous to you but it is in fact the opposite in its truest meaning to others.

Thanks friend. People act as if the Constitution is some sort of radical idea, or that the common person cannot understand it. I just believe in the wisdom of the men who brought it about. I think they were much smarter than I am.

I especially like the quote by Gandhi, A man (person) is but the product of his thoughts, what he believes, he becomes. There are variations of this quote, but these are his exact words. In his teachings he expands on this to reveal that one man can become many of a common mind, from that a movement is born. This becomes an indoctrination through majority control of education so that a communal voice is all that is heard. The indoctrinated will overwhelm those who do not believe by force until only one voice is heard, the voice of one leader who is all powerful. Not through war, but lies and deceptions that the people refuse to see until it is too late. This is the way of c*******m that promises everything until it comes time to deliver. Then the s***ery begins.
