I have been absent. I have been putting in 14, 16, 18 hour days getting my new business going. My former employer has dropped any further action against me. and I have dropped my counter suit against them as promised. Moving on.
I took $275,000 in combined loans with my house, my land, my animals, my vehicles, even a lot of equity in my other businesses, most of everything I have to start my this business. Failure is not an option.
On the good though, all monies are now available so I am not struggling any more to make payroll and such. I have a nice office space, I am now at 13 employees, gaining an average of at least one new client per week. I am in the black for the first time since jumping in.
The bad though, my oldest existing LLC expires in May of next year and I am not eligible to license another one until then unless I pay a $25,000 fee to pay for the federal licensing commissions cost of canceling and establishing a new LLC under my name. (you are limited as to how many LLC licenses you can hold, I have to expire one, or pay the penalty in order to apply for another, this is not the governments fault, I have multiple businesses so that is just how it is).
This is going to be my legacy, what I leave to my children. I am going to shut down every thing else, and really go legit, or I am going to lose everything. Cross your fingers for me please.

For those who may think I am a fool, and putting my family at risk, I have been investing in gold since 1998, I also have a very good life insurance policy, the VA pays all of my burial costs, full family benefits, hell I am worth more dead than I am alive! My daughters college fund sits at roughly $170,000. And it is liquid, as is the gold, and I have $35,000 equity in my life insurance policy that is also liquid. These are what I consider untouchables though, they are for my family, not me.

Any way, I am seriously short on time in my life right now, so I will be here when I can.

I wish you nothing less than overwhelming success. You can do this, it will be difficult at times, but keep holding to your identity, have faith in yourself, and do not look back!

I would understand if you feel concerned, but I have faith in you and I am a complete stranger..... you know you can do this. If you ever need a sounding board, drop me a note. I may not be able to help, but I can listen and I have found that it is good to have someone that is not close to me to listen to my ideas. So, I hope you take me up on the offer. Again, keep the faith! You can do anything you really want and you will be successful!

Again thank you, I have planning this for many years, actually doing it is another whole scary thing.

LoneGhost, if anyone deserves success, it is you. My being an inactive Marine, you can be assured I wish only the best for one of our own. Adapt, improvise, and overcome!

I have no doubt as to the success you will find in this endeavor.

SEMPER FI!

Thanks everyone. I seriously doubt I will ever be a fortune 500 company just a small business owner but I am trying to fulfill a dream. You know what the craziest thing is? A quarter of a million dollars sounds like a lot but you can not believe how fast it disappears. I can literally hear a sucking sound from my bank account.

 I hear the same sound when my kids/grandkids come over for a visit!

Chalk it up to the cost of living...a full life!

Seriously, I cannot see anything but success for one such as you.

Thanks everyone. I saw the semper fi and halve to give credit, where credit is due. My service in the Marines paid for almost all of my school tuition, that is where I got a big part of my loan to buy my land, and build my house. 1/3 of the loans I recently took out are attributed as well. I somehow managed to keep an excellent credit rating, but none of my success would have been possible if not for serving my country. Not to mention my "adapt and improvise" mentality that I took with me.
I am just a product of the path I have walked in life, the Marine Corps, put me on that path, and taught me how to walk it like a man. OOH RAH!
