You really don't need term limits. All you really need to do is make it against the law to be stupid, that would put about 90% of the city, county, state, and federal politicians in jail and you would not have to v**e for them.

The Founders already set term limits, the term for a Representative is two years, the President's term is four years, and a Senator is six years. You are not required to re-elect them every time their term expires. If you are unhappy with your elected officials, v**e them out of office. You do not need a Constitutional Amendment to do that. A lot less apathy and v**er laziness, and a lot more knowledge of your elected officials attention to his/hers duty to the country is what is needed today.

When you stop and think about the Fast and Furious Scandal, the whistleblowers have been punished, the perpetrators have been promoted, and the oversight committee has gotten nowhere. The way things are going, those that are guilty of this crime will die of old age before this investigation produces anything. So based on past performance, we can expect more of this in the B******i and IRS Scandals. Government likes to make noises, but is very slow in action.

I suggest that you go to www.publiushuldah.wordpress.com and read about the so called Convention of States otherwise known as the Constitutional Convention. It just may enlightren you and bring you back to reality.

We have e******ns every two years for the House of Representatives, every four years for President, and every six years for Senators, that is suppose to be the only term limits we should need. The problem we have is there are not enought v**ers left in this country that believe and support the Constitution to get rid of the corruption in our government. Special interest groups have taken control of our country. Thomas Jefferson once said "When injustice becomes law, then r*******n becomes duty", that time is coming very soon.

I'm 79 and see no gratification in blaming our Founders or the Constitution for the corruption in our government today. The Constitution is a solid base, the problem is what was built on top of that foundation that allowed this corruption. The blame for the ills of this country does not belong on the Founders, it belongs to "We the People" through apathy and pure laziness we have allow the government to overstep it's constitutional powers and intrude into our daily lives. The way I look at it is, our Founders did their best, we have not held up that tradition. The polls say that this congress has a 17% approval rate, just wait and after the e******ns at least 90% will be re-elected. That should tell you where the blame belongs and it's not with those that did their duty in the 1780s.

If Sarah Palin is so inconsequential why do the liberals continue to attack her? The left goes totally ballistic everytime she says something. If you put a little serious thought to it, if the media did their job as the watchdog of the government instead of being the lapdog of this administration there would be no need for Palin. Those that are pushing Jeb Bush for president are really looking for a Hillary win. Call me a conspiracy nut, but there is something running this country that wants it to be a third world nation rather than a world power.

We have plenty of thinkers in this country, unfortunately, they are not in the government. Government does not change for the better, it alwasys changes for the worst.

Along with v**er ID we need to have literacy tests. Maybe then we would get a higher calibre of elected officials instead of the usual i***ts.

Einstein had a theory about people like you, he said that doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results is sign of insanity, and that is the camp you belong in.
