There would be a trade route for one thing and the biggest benefit would be the mineral rights. Greenland is loaded with uranium and a ton of other valuable minerals including diamonds and gold and silver. We already have a military base there. Instead of laughing at the President, why don’t you stop for just a minute and think. It would be a tremendous deal for the United States and most likely for Greenland also.

He takes a situation where a prime minister responds in a way that is both understandable and easy enough to blow off. But on the other hand, I have consumed a lot of alcohol and had a lot of fun doing it for over 55 years from one side of the world to another. I never k**led anyone, no matter the age. I never went to the ER over alcohol, I didn't start drinking until 18 and regularly at 21, I have never caused a violent act because of alcohol, about the only times I use alcohol illegally is drinking where some stupid politician made it illegal like a picnic in the park, and the positive consequences of alcohol is all of the taxes I help pay every year through outrageous alcohol taxes.

Moderate alcohol use is more beneficial then not drinking at all and it has been proven in every single study taken. Yes, there are positive benefits.

No one forces me to drink and I only drink what I want and I only drink beer.

Some people, in fact many people, abuse alcohol. I use alcohol and it works fine and does what I want it to do, besides tasting damn good.

But you may feel free to not use it. It is your choice. Like common sense using of guns as well as common sense using of alcohol. Know your limits and control both, but be free to use and posses both.
