So imagine Trump's "idea" of buying Greenland hadn't been outed by an insider (as a joke)...Trump opens the idea at his state dinner. I can picture stunned silence as people tried to take in such an i***tically absurd idea, then the table breaking out in uncontrolled laughter, people would have broken ribs laughing so hard.

Trump would have been deeply pissed off...

It's not hard to picture Obama getting a seriously good laugh when he visits in a couple of weeks.

The main difference between Trump and Obama in terms of the opinion of the free world the US is a part of? Obama is very welcome even though he is no longer president, Trump is tolerated in most countries so as not to disrespect the US, he will not be welcomed anywhere but Russia and the UAE once he is no longer president. He is a toad prince and you all know it.

Sure Obama is welcomed. He bowed down and coddled to everyone and took his apology tour.

Obama probably has much to say to the PM...especially about what they don't want us to know what they were doing in Greenland.

Told ya this was a distraction. Wonder what Trump's really up to.

The US has tried to by Greenland twice before; if looked at pragmatically instead of emotionally, by gaining a strategically important region it would be a great deal for the US. By becoming a part of the US, it would be a great deal for Greenlanders and Denmark would save more than half a billion dollars a year in subsidies it sends to Greenland.

...and they'd pay some of what they haven't contributed in NATO dues...and we could dig around and find out what's been going on in some highly classified places.

I don't think the PM wants that last to happen on her watch. No sir!

Most everything the anarchist's post here is disinformation, but most already know their deceptive ways

There is a Valid reason for The Presidents U.S. interest in Arctic Greenland...We Already have a base there and the scuttlebutt is the ChiComs who have invested heavily in Greenland's Rare Earth Minerals would like to build a military base over top of it

PS: I do believe, though, that the parts of Greenland they don't mind folks knowing about will se a rise in tourism because of this exposure to make up for the bad press they got in the Princess Bride when Vizzini threatens to send Fezzik back to where he found him "Unemployed! In Greenland!"

Dang. It's a shame I have a life to live, and can't spend all of my time obsessing over Trump.....
You make me jealous. I mean, I have family, friends, pets, work, and other things I enjoy.
I wish I could be as obsessed as you about something.

I guess if I let it all go, never bathe, or change my drawers, and spend all day on the internet, I can be as happy, and blessed as you, huh?

Nah. I have a life to live. You can have it.
