I doubt if any Congressional Republicans will obey Trump and drive over that cliff of abolishing the Fed and the big banks. The Fed exists for good reasons and the big banks own Congress.

I remember the inflation of the seventies reaching the teens and then Carter, not Reagan, appointed Paul Volcher, Chairman of the Federal Reserve, who stopped inflation by raising the interest rate controlled by the Fed to 20% to accomplish it. I think raising rates today is the way to go even it it croaks the stock market and causes job losses. It's more important to protect the bond market than the stock market. It is long past the time to take away the punch bowl.

If a person gives or sells a substance to somebody which substance is known to cause death, that I would hope is a crime. There must be some reason it isn't treated as a crime. The undesirable increase in the crime rate, perhaps.

I do think however that he has a large personality defect which I'm not qualified to name. His technique is also unique I think. If he wanted to blow up NATO I think most Presidents would have discussed it with advisors and talked about the subject with the public. He might have learned that if Montenegro attaches Russia NATO is not required to defend it.

Trump seems to get long fine with leaders who are dictators or authoritarian at least. Putin, Kim Jong, Erdogan, Duterte shows Trump's respect and admiration for leaders who have little regard for human life. At the NATO meeting he fist bumped Erdogan and told him he was doing things right. I can't figure out Trump's world view, that is how would he want the world to be. I don't think he knows himself. Im glad some Republicans at least are waking up to the Trump disrupting effect.
