… but that doesn't mean anyone else has to take it seriously (and that includes mine but here it is anyway).

I have never seen such an aggregation of intellectual lepers in my life as is today to be found on the Left of the political spectrum. The vast majority of you on that side of the aisle have no idea what you are posting about here or representing in Washington, D.C. You have no background in history or the political policies you support or oppose. You are hypocrites of the first order; screaming denunciations of President Trump while utterly ignorant of the very same, or worse, having occurred on your own side.

You call Trump a t*****r for meeting with Putin and you applaud Hillary for her Russian reset.

You accuse Trump of collusion with Russia and you ignore the fact that the infamous "Trump dossier", paid for by Hillary Clinton and the DNC, was compiled by a foreigner using Russian sources.

You claim Trump's performance in Helsinki was the greatest embarrassment the US has ever been put to while ignoring the Obama apology tour with its several photos of then President of the United states, Barack Obama, executing the serf's obeisance before the Saudi Royalty and the Emperor of Japan.

Your press touts the many ways Trump might offend the Queen of England but said nothing about the Obama state gift to the queen of a bunch of music CDs and a few of his recorded speeches.

Frankly what I see happening in this once great and noble country makes me sick to the core of my spirit. I see no way to reconcile with the Left and worse, I no longer see any point in it.

Go ahead and support Trump all you want. It does not mean I have to believe every thing he does is good for our country. I don't want our diplomats sent to Russia for questioning and I believe our intelligence service before I would believe Putin. That is my opinion I can't speak for you because you have an opinion also.

Tom,

When did William Felix Browder become an American diplomat? As far as I know, he was born American but renounced his citizenship and was instrumental in he passage of the Magnitsky Act which wiped out many of Russia's small and medium-sized businesses. There is a move by the UN to pass this act in all UN states. Basically it allows the bank account and properties of Russians to be seized if there is evidence that they or their company was/is involved in human rights violations.

President Putin has not asked for anyone to extradited to Russia for interrogation. And he did not say he would force the "dirty 12" Mueller has indicted to be extradited to the US. But a quid pro qo, allowing questioning of the "dirty 12" in Russia in exchange for questioning Browder in his property in the US ..... or in his other property in the UK which would require the UK to agree. Browder has many properties around the world, it could take years for him to return to his property in the US. I can understand Russia's need to find out how $1.5 billion (in US currency) disappeared into Browder's accounts and how he got his hands on that money.

If we truly want to get to the bottom of our e******n i**********e and prosecute those responsible, we are going to need other countries to cooperate. This is not something that can be done in a vacuum. BTW, we have agreements with most other nations which allow this type of cooperation. If say the UK has a person of interest in the US, they can send their envoy to the US to question that individual. Same with Spain, Germany, Italy, Japan........... it seems the only nation we do not have such an agreement with is Russia, although we did sign an agreement in 1999 to allow such cooperation. We have not allowed such questioning and in return, Russia has not allowed it.

Trump seems to get long fine with leaders who are dictators or authoritarian at least. Putin, Kim Jong, Erdogan, Duterte shows Trump's respect and admiration for leaders who have little regard for human life. At the NATO meeting he fist bumped Erdogan and told him he was doing things right. I can't figure out Trump's world view, that is how would he want the world to be. I don't think he knows himself. Im glad some Republicans at least are waking up to the Trump disrupting effect.

You believe our intelligence service Tom ?

I don't.

I don't believe Putin, Trump, Pence, Ryan, The Queen Of England or the King of Siam.

I "do" believe that politicians lie.

ALL POLITICIANS.

I believe in MYSELF.

And that is all I will ever need.

Some people on the right because of Trump seem to be softening up on Russia. They should remember that the First and Second Amendment are not recognized in Russia.I

We don't live in Russia, little bigoted girl.

And Russia don't run nothing over here.

You should quit worrying about Russia and focus on decreasing your remarkable level of ignorance.

Bad actions have been occurring in human political affairs for years regardless of which side holds power. Women seeking suffrage were attacked and jailed as were b****s seeking civil rights. A few months ago a women anti Trump protestor was run over by a car and k**led.

The end of the America can only come from within. We've been divided before over core issues and been able to come together again. Unity is possible again but only if we DON'T GIVE UP on ourselves and our country.

I believe it is wrong to attack any one in any way for their political beliefs. I have seen a lot of right wing posters saying things like "open season on Liberals" I know that in the cities right wing protesters and left wing protesters sometimes have violent clashes. The whole situation sucks. I do wish that mutual respect would come back. Here on OPP I have seen a lot of left wingers denigrated and made fun of much more so than right wingers but then this is a predominate right wing site. Myself I have made some good friends here and hope to remain so.

This is one good friend that will remain with you, Tom. Again, I find myself agreeing with your fair, common sense and reasonable observations and comments. Unless I'm mistaken, I believe that you were previously referring to Putin's attempt(s) at having former U.S. Ambassador Micheal McFaul released to the Soviets for questioning.
