The weapon's power lies in (please read my post) DETERRENCE.
It is the "President"'s job to use this leverage to control the mullah's insane behavior. The terrorists need to be reminded, with AUTHORITY, that they ( iran ) are treading a very slippery slope, and every mosque and minaret could be erased if they continue on that slope.

This week, the Islamic Republic of Iran -- a radical Shariah theocracy hell-bent on the destruction of Israel and Saudi Arabia, among others -- fired some 300 drones and missiles at the State of Israel. This is, definitionally, an act of war. Iran claimed that it had attacked Israel in response to Israel's k*****g of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps terror master Gen. Mohammad Reza Zahedi in Syria. In reality, this was merely the latest escalation by Iran, after decades of using its proxies in the Middle East to attack Americans, Israelis and Western allies.

Why, though, did Iran think it could get away with such a launch without serious repercussions – particularly since America directly intervened, along with the U.K., France, Jordan and Saudi Arabia in taking down Iranian ordnance?

The answer is simple: Iran has successfully deterred the United States.

Deterrence, according to the Defense Department, is "the prevention of action by the existence of a credible threat of unacceptable counteraction and/or belief that the cost of action outweighs the perceived benefits." Clearly, the United States has not deterred Iran. Far from it: according to a report from the Jerusalem Post, Iran notified the United States in advance of its barrage against Israel, hoping to attain some sort of assurance that the United States would not retaliate and would pressure Israel to not retaliate, either. According to a Turkish go-between, "Iran informed us in advance of what would happen. Possible developments also came up during the meeting with (Secretary of State Antony) Blinken, and they (the U.S.) conveyed to Iran through us that this reaction must be within certain limits."

This is perfectly repulsive. In short, Iran wanted to engage in a show of strength; they then notified America that they would be attacking an American ally directly in the largest Middle Eastern cross-border attack by a sovereign country on another sovereign country since the Gulf War. And Biden said, "Sure, OK, so long as you don't go too far."

Biden then performed his part: he pressured Israel to "take the win" and not retaliate. After all, Biden said, it wouldn't look good to "escalate" in the region.

Now, the reality is that the best way to deescalate in foreign policy is often to engage in actual deterrence. That's why President Donald Trump's approach, mocked by the pseudo-intellectual class, was effective: yes, it was bizarre to watch the sitting president of the United States threaten other world leaders with his "nuclear button," which Trump assured those leaders was "much bigger and more powerful." Also, would you want to provoke a man who tweeted such things if you were Kim Jong Un or the ayatollahs?

But Joe Biden doesn't understand deterrence. In fact, he is deterred: Iran has successfully launched a war against Israel, and the United States is not only backing down but also pushing Israel to do the same.

So, why is Biden backing down?

Two reasons. First, Biden believes that his ree******n effort requires the Middle East to calm. Second, Biden believes that his ree******n effort requires the support for pro-Hamas radicals in Michigan. Biden is wrong on both counts, of course: It turns out that appeasement heightens the possibility of conflict in the Middle East, and Biden's attempts to feed the pro-Hamas alligator one bite at a time will eventually end with his candidacy on the plate.

Wh**ever the rationale, however, the image of the United States under Joe Biden is one of unending cowardice. The Taliban called Biden's bluff; Russia has called Biden's bluff; Iran has called Biden's bluff; how long will it be until China does? Deterrence requires, above all else, willpower. And that is in short supply from a White House that sees strength as a weakness.

Fred was about to tee off on the first hole when a second golfer (George) approached and asked if he could join him. Fred said that he usually played alone, but agreed to the twosome. They were even after the first few holes.

George said, "We're about evenly matched, how about playing for five bucks a hole?" Fred said that he wasn't much for betting, but agreed.

George easily won the remaining 16 holes. They walked off number eighteen while George counted his $80.00. He then confessed that he was the pro at a neighboring course and “liked to pick on suckers.”

Fred, shocked, revealed that he was the Parish Priest.

The pro was flustered and apologetic and offered to return the money.
The Priest said, "You won fair and square I was foolish to bet with you. Keep your winnings."
The embarrassed pro asked, "Please, is there anything I can do to make it up to you?"

The Priest said, "Well, you could come to Mass on Sunday and make a donation. And, if you want to bring your Mother and Father along, I'll marry them.”

Protests blocking access to public facilities like roads or entrances to airports are of course evil in intent and with total disregard to the public rights to use those facilities. In many occasions people might have missed planes and at great expense to make up for that. Also those on blocked bridges missed things and were late. Those with medical issues could have faced a severe health episode. And of course blocking such things can cause issues with first responders on the way to an emergency.

This is not about people's rights to protest. It is about where and when and the disruptions that they cause to others not interested in their cause of the day/week/month/year. And it is often the same people just being obnoxious i***ts time and time again.

If the police arrest them, should there names, etc. be made available to all those who had their lives disrupted, and then sue them for monetary damages, for the inconveniences and real costs of their protests. Treble damages of course. Class action suit. Payable by one or all that were arrested, or could be proven to be a part of that protest.

It is a fact of life in our country today that there are people who live to be offended. They’re called Progressives. They are offended by Confederate statues and the Confederate F**g, by monuments that they say celebrate w***e s*******y and colonialism, by Trump supporters, by Trump himself, and by those who refuse to get on their knees and grovel before Black L***s M****r.

Well, I am not one of them, and I’ve got a big revelation for them.

Here are ten things for which I will never apologize.

1. I’m white I was born white and I don’t feel guilty about s***ery, segregation, the Trail of Tears or the treatment of Chinese railroad workers because (now get this) I didn’t have anything to do with any of these.

I’m no more responsible for these injustices than the Indian of today is responsible for the Black Hole of Calcutta.

The idea of racial guilt is absurd. White privilege and w***e s*******y is a myth. Where are the White Miss America Contest, White History Month and White Entertainment Television? Where are the white-only colleges and universities, white-only dating sites, or white-only bars and restaurants? Where are the quotas and set-asides for Caucasians?

Do we need to address these things? To some degree, yes, but not by r**ting, tearing down statues, l**ting and destroying businesses, and changing names of sports teams and products. We can and should address these things with civility and dialogue by all concerned.

2. I love America I believe in American exceptionalism. America pioneered representative government guided by a written constitution.

We fought a war with 620,000 dead to end s***ery. We defeated N**i Germany and Imperial Japan and liberated the death camps.

We saved Europe from tyranny, twice, in the 20th century and then, with American investment, innovation, resourcefulness and generosity, rebuilt the economies of 17 nations of Europe and the nation of Japan.

Our arms kept c*******m from conquering the world. Our factories and workshops produced a flood of inventions and products that benefited humanity.

We built the greatest most respected medical system in the world and earned more Nobel Prizes in Medicine than any other nation on earth by a factor of ten!

What country has done as much especially in 244 years, a relative hiccup in time?

3. I’m a Christian I love God and his son Jesus Christ. I am proud of my faith, but I do not wear it on my sleeve.

I respect all religions. I also believe in the State of Israel. Modern Israel is a miracle and a fulfillment of Biblical prophecy. Israel is a beleaguered outpost of civilization in a savage region and a bulwark against the forces of darkness.

The next time your physician gives you a shot of penicillin, look up who discovered this miracle drug.

4. My heroes include George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, and Teddy Roosevelt, Washington and Lincoln were indispensable men.

Washington defeated the greatest army on earth and led our country for the first quarter-century of its existence.

Lincoln saved the Union, abolished s***ery, and inspired generations with his rhetoric.

The Declaration of Independence flames with the eloquence of Thomas Jefferson, arguably the most intelligent man to ever serve as President of the United States.

Andrew Jackson, the hero of the Battle of New Orleans, represented the pioneer spirit.

Teddy Roosevelt led the charge into the 20th century, the American Century.

Together, they gave us a country so free that malcontents like Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Talib can dump on it without fear of reprisal.

Indeed, if you listen to all the complaints voiced by all the liberal/progressive democrats and c*******ts like NYC Mayor Bill De Blasio, you are hard-pressed to understand why there are so few people leaving our country! It is harder still to understand why, with all of our so-called problems, millions of people from around the world want to come here!

5. I support our Police, and I believe police officers are generally decent/honorable men and women who are doing a difficult, dangerous, often thankless job You couldn't pay me enough today to do it. Besides risking their lives every time they go to work, they bear the added burden of listening to insults shouted at them by spoiled, ungrateful people many of whom are wet behind their ears and probably still wearing diapers.

Police today have become the punching bag for the nation and, sadly, they receive little or no respect or support from their superiors and the gaggle of incompetent democrat mayors around the country. And, like our military, they are all that stands between us and the abyss.

When the Twin Towers were attacked in New York City on 9/11, we were reminded by liberals to not judge all Muslims by the actions of a few. Yet today, mobs are willing to judge all police by the actions of a few police. Explain that one to me.

Defunding the police because of a few "bad apples" is just plain STUPID because the end result will be more crime. If you find that difficult to comprehend, just check the crime statistics for these liberal democrat-controlled cities: New York, Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, San Francisco, St. Louis, Newark, and Trenton, and check out the number of shootings and stabbings on any given weekend! You would think these cities are in a war zone.

6. I support the Second Amendment, and I own weapons It’s one of the reasons why Japan thought long and hard about attacking us. It’s a major reason why we’ll never have a Holocaust here. Europe has had the divine right of kings, religious persecution, C*******m and N**ism. We have the Second Amendment.

The anarchy in our streets, coupled with calls to defund the police, only serves to underscore the need for civilian gun ownership.

7. R********ns are racial plunder. The idea of racial guilt is an obscenity from the dark recesses of 19th-century European history There’s no group in the world that hasn’t been oppressed at some point in time.

Will Denmark pay r********ns to the English for the Danelaw? Will Mongols and Manchus compensate the Chinese? Will Japan compensate the Chinese for the Rape of Nanjing? How about the English and the Irish, the Mongols and the Russians, the Cossacks and Jews? Will bi-racial Barack Obama take money out of one pocket and put it in another?

8. There are only two g****rs. Deal with it G****r is determined at birth by your DNA. Just as you can’t change your DNA, you can’t change your sex. You should not be able to force others to participate in your fantasy. Reality isn’t h**eful.

9. I support President Trump and will v**e for him in November 2020 The president loves this country. He really does have Israel’s back. Who else is strong enough to stand up to China and Iran?

Unlike almost everyone else in Washington, as a businessman, he understands finance and the market economy.

He's giving us judges who deliberate instead of legislating. And he has the guts not to be liked.

Prior to C****-**, President Trump built the greatest most prosperous economy in the world and he gave power back to the people.

He understands that we are a people who happen to have a government, not the other way around, and this American experiment in which government derives its just power from the consent of the governed is still the most unique, treasured, and progressive form of government in the history of mankind.

10. You have a right to disagree with me, but you do not have a right to try to silence me Being offended doesn't trump the First Amendment.

Attacking statues and assaulting those with different values is the kind of thing we saw in N**i Germany and Stalin's Russia.

Generations of Americans died for freedom of speech, not freedom to suppress speech.

To say you're offended is merely an attempt to prioritize your feelings above everyone and everything else. It's not an argument, but a call to end discussion an admission of intellectual impotence.

Being offended isn't a mark of virtue; it's a sign that you're a big, blubbering baby who will throw a tantrum if you can't get your way. Wagging fingers and shouting obscenities at me is just plain disrespectful, and might get you a punch in the nose.

You have the right to be offended, just as I have the right to "Not give a s**t"

FBI: Decline and Fall
By: Ben Madison

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has reached a stage in its development where it stands as an open threat to the constitutional protections of American citizens. What began as a little-known bureau of the U.S. Department of Justice in 1908 functioned as the department’s detective wing, investigating violations of federal law. Its primary focus was to compile, record, file, and obtain information that could be used in the prosecution of crimes against the government. It has now evolved into an agency that functions as a political tool for the power elites to threaten and intimidate any person, group, or domestic entity that could be perceived as an enemy or opponent to the elite political agenda.

J. Edgar Hoover became the head of the “Radical Division,” which directed its attention to aliens on American soil who could be classified as promoting anarchy or revolution. Records kept of German aliens in the U.S. leading up to and during WW I were extensive. The bureau was considered to be more of a compiler of information rather than an investigative law-enforcement entity. It did not have any legal prosecutorial powers or surveillance abilities against American citizens who had not committed a federal crime. The information gathered by the FBI was to be used by the Justice Department against alien-born anarchists.

As the years passed, the role of the FBI increased significantly. By the late 1930s, with WW II underway in Europe, President Roosevelt expanded the powers of the FBI. In 1939 Roosevelt issued a secret directive authorizing the FBI to take charge of all home-front investigations involving espionage and sabotage in anticipation of the coming war. Once the Japanese attacked the U.S. in 1941, Hoover already had files on thousands of Japanese and Germans in the country as possible antagonists. Roosevelt’s decision to inter all Japanese people regardless of citizenship was opposed by Hoover, who was against interring American citizens. The FBI had been given the power to arrest and to control the interment camps as well.

At the end of WW II, the FBI’s focus was on the c*******t “Red Scare,” which equated to espionage being conducted by the Soviet Union in America. Hoover began an “under-the-radar” program code-named Venona. Working with the Army Security Agency (now the NSA), they were able to decrypt encoded Soviet messages being sent to Americans. The consensus was that these were either Soviet plants or C*******t sympathizers. The information or its source could not be used in any legal proceedings because it was unconstitutional. Yet the information was gathered and filed away to be used at some point as an effective intimidation tool. Although Venona was effective in leading to the eventual prosecution of the Rosenbergs, Hiss, and other Soviet agents, its existence was never revealed until the 1990s, after Hoover’s passing.

With the fear of c*******t infiltration still going strong well into the 1950s, President Eisenhower gave Hoover a blank check to do wh**ever was necessary to combat the Red menace. Hoover began COINTELPRO, or the Counterintelligence program. The strategy was to no longer just to prosecute c*******t party members or haul them up in front of congressional committees, but to manipulate, misinform and disrupt the party in secret. They would attack party members with misinformation and create distrust among members in an attempt to discredit the organization as a whole. They would print false propaganda and create false headlines all with the purpose of disrupting the structure of the c*******t party in America. Part of COINTELPRO was known as Operation Solo. This was a successful c**p for Hoover. Two C*******t Party officials, Jack and Morris Childs, had become disaffected with the party. The FBI persuaded them to remain party members while acting as agents. They rose through party ranks, with Morris eventually becoming the main liaison between the CPUSA and the Kremlin. Information on party objectives, the spy network, and even Soviet policy was obtained by the FBI.

As successful as the results were in this case, COINTELPRO was eventually used as an effective yet illegal tool against other groups and individuals. In the 1960s there was considerable concern about the civil rights movement. With unsubstantiated intel that Dr. Martin Luther King was employing at a high level in his organization two c*******t party members, the FBI decided to not only wiretap the suspected c*******ts, but to wiretap Dr. King as well, even though they had no evidence that Dr. King was a c*******t. One can only guess as to how many were surveilled since then.

The FBI of today has taken an unprecedented leap towards an autocratic police force. Its reputation as a nonpartisan, ethical protector of the Constitution has been reduced to that of partisan, unethical detractor of the Constitution. We can no longer expect that all federal crimes will be investigated and prosecuted. We no longer expect that justice is blind but that the FBI uses blinders when investigating certain people. The FBI of today is investigating and intimidating parents of schoolchildren and knocking on the doors of those who post opinions on social media. The FBI of today is stonewalling and obfuscating congressional requests and hearings. The FBI is compiling information on anyone who objects to the Democratic Party’s narrative and manipulating through intimidation organizations that don’t support it. Forcing tech providers to remove posts that are pro-Trump or anti-v*****e or anything that offends the current administration is not, and never should be, a function of our federal law enforcement agency.

We have seen the changes in the FBI from an informational resource for the Justice Department to an agency that has usurped the constitutional freedoms afforded us, in the name of political protection of a narrative that supports hubris and power. One can only wonder what other schemes, plans, and subversive actions are now occurring that we do not know about. The bureaucracy will continue to prevail until the people take charge of the government.
