That's the same argument for the other C***ds, "most" people do not die. What shifts the numbers on positive cases of Omicron or any other C***d is that lots of v******ted people are testing positive that show no signs or are less severely ill...the fact remains that those hospitalized are high percentages of unv******ted people.

I expected Gorsuch to be moderately well informed, but he is leaning on ridiculous ideas that the right panders in...Thomas is another, but he has his head so deeply activist level conservative that is expected.

My brother had a little pomeranian they brought over, our parrot would head towards her and she would look away and pretend it wasn't there, the problem was that parrot would bite her on the butt if it wasn't scared away.

This is what stupid people that refuse to see and understand the facts that are in front of their faces remind me of.

These frigging morons believe that if they don't know the t***h it must not exist, but when you try to tell them they say they don't need or want to know.

I'll defend Ted on one thing. By calling them terrorists, he showed them not to be i**********nists. The violent ones were violent and we condemn that violence. Terrorists perform violent acts.

That was not mindless terrorism, it had a cause, and it had orchestration and support both financial and logistical...and yes there were some elements of mindless terrorism if you discount the fact that these people are mindless in the first place.

It was later proved after the e******n was conceded by Gore that he won with the 690 v**es that were erroneously rejected.

These technicalities that then get decided by courts are dangerous subversions of the will of the American people.

Y'all need to remember this when the next e******n results in either Trump or another conservative being elected to the presidency.

We'll certainly remember it when they ramp up perfected versions of shutting down f**r e******ns because they have replaced e******ns officials with people that support overturning e******ns with zero evidence in recounts.

Notice the right has nothing to say about r****t whack job families?

Which brings up the point that it's obvious the father is going down for murder, but they are looking at the son for knowingly aiding him.

Talk to any devout right winger, and the Obama economy was a disaster, Obama virtually destroyed the economy. Now unfortunately any discussion with anyone that is such a moron they would say that Obama destroyed the economy has to be very carefully navigated...or it becomes a fight when you try to be honest about such stupidity

Okay, but play with reality and hold r****ded people accountable and the questions would look like this...
...what are you comparing this terrible performance with, the Bush economy? Because that makes Obama look like a true god of finance and policy.
...Bush lost 25 million jobs, Obama only put 14 million back on?
...Unemployment was at 11% under Bush, Obama only reduced it to 5% during his eight years/
...The housing market prices were back and they were selling faster than people were listing them
...The stock market had been consistently breaking new records and continued that trend under trump, but to hear trumpers talk they had made all this money during a trump economy

...Bush was losing 800,000 jobs a month when Obama took over
...25% of the homes in the country were being foreclosed on
...the stock market was in the crapper, Americans Lost upwards of $25 Trillion dollars
...
...
...you get the idea, there are more indicators that support a strong economy

To talk to a right winger that believes Obama destroyed the economy they literally have to be experiencing a form of their brain being dead during that whole period, it's gone and the economy didn't "come back" from the way Obama had destroyed it until trump took office, whereupon he performed one of the most miraculous turnarounds in the history of the country. Ask one what about the way Bush devastated the economy and that gets shut down with one of the forms of "here we go, blaming it on Bush"...yes, Bush trashed the economy

Testing is the answer. But your tax dollars continue to flow to useless shots.

And the reality is that anti masker/v**xer types don't want to know of they have C***d because it would mean they should stay at home even they they feel fine, even when they aren't feeling well, I have heard guys saying screw it, they can't afford to stay home because they don't feel well, if others care they can wear a mask or hide out at home.

There are no reasonable solutions because those who oppose them oppose every aspect of reasonableness.

I don't even know what this clown could have been thinking...that he could get away with just shooting a guy when there wasn't even any altercation to speak of, nothing even approaching a deadly threat that could justify having to shoot someone?

Some of these incidents are crossing lines where there is virtually no defense possible, what are these guys thinking?

This would be an excellent example of police departments allowing cops to get away with totally unnecessary excessive force. The guy was apparently drunk and was facing serious jail time for driving intoxicated and being involved in an accident. California may be one of the toughest states in the country on drunk drivers, police should know that and know that when someone like this has been arrested they are going to do some time, they do not need to be gratuitously roughed up as well.

It sounds like the Yuba PD fired this guy, but it doesn't say for what or whether it was in direct response to this incident, which the most brain dead city would know is a screaming liability in terms of wrongful injuries.

This guy was handcuffed and being led to a squad car when the offending cop decided he wasn't moving fast enough or wh**ever so he was slammed to the ground...

The Ungracious Generation and Its Demonization of the Past

The past two years have seen an unprecedented escalation in a decadeslong war on the American past. But there are lots of logical flaws in attacking prior generations in U.S. history.

Critics assume their own judgmental generation is morally superior to those of the past. So, they use their own standards to condemn the mute dead who supposedly do not measure up to them.

The only demonizing about the past comes from those on the right that don't like to look at the way the past was...

A good example is the true rendition of what was going on with the Alamo...that history was quickly rewritten to reflect honor and a glorious fight. It was no such thing. Texans in regard to their proud heritage are offended by the reality of what happened there, they don't like the Mexicans put in a better light, they don't want Texans put in a bad light.

The despicable way Indians were treated is the same thing, there are those who are proud of heritages that feel attacked to have a true version of history studied and reflected on. It takes a pioneering heritage people are proud of their ancestor's part in and may put them in a bad light.

Back to the word ungracious, it's had to imagine any people as a group that would be considered as ungracious as trump and his die hard supporters...ungracious is far too nice a word for what they represent and are

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) found his name trending Thursday on social media for all the wrong reasons after what critics called a “groveling” and “humiliating” appearance on Fox News.

But back to the topic, I can't stand the lying sniveling little weasel...but that display of groveling hurt, it is hard to watch a man reduced to this kind of humiliation.
