This is a good one, in order to make people understand that they may be in danger from Muslim terrorists he commits a terrorist act. Except that law enforcement doesn't name it.

67-year-old Marietta, Georgia man is accused of planting a backpack containing two pipe bombs in an Atlanta-area public park in order to frighten the public and sow fear of Islamic terrorism.

According to Atlanta’s Channel 2 News, conservative “patriot” Michael Sibley confessed to police that he was trying to educate people that terror strikes can happen anywhere and without warning when he planted the bombs last November.


The backpack contained two partially-constructed pipe bombs, a Koran and a list of “soft targets” for terrorist attacks — i.e., non-military, unguarded structures like hospitals and schools. Among the list of potential targets was an Atlanta Jewish center.

Channel 2 quoted Sibley’s arrest report, which reported that he “(s)tated that he is a ‘patriot’ and he felt no one was paying attention to what was going on the world. Sibley felt if he placed the package in a Roswell park then people would finally get that this type of activity could happen anywhere.”

You certainly are naive. Every group decision (eventually) needs one person to do the talking and then come back with the results. Groups of people can never come to any decision as each individual will have his own preferences. In this country it is the Executive Branch (the President or his representative) that makes foreign policy decisions (in the Constitution). It is later that Congress can agree/disagree on the final outcome (also in the Constitution). As I said elsewhere, "too many cooks spoil the broth."

As an addition: This Congress cannot agree on anything besides v****g against Obama on everything.

It is not possible to keep things quiet if all of Congress is told all the steps along the way through a deal. It is undermining like giving the name of a sure-winning horse in order to bring down the odds. It is self-defeating if you've bet on the game.

It was necessary for President Obama to have most aspects covered before giving the game away which would happen if all of Congress were informed throughout the talks. Spreading the word all through the discussion is not good diplomacy. Did you expect him to show his hand to everyone at the table?

I wouldn't want to play any game with you guys who would give away my quarterback's signals to the other team.

Congress would be told when the deal was decided upon. If they don't see the finished package, how can they possibly make any decision. There's that story about "too many cooks . . . ."

Netanyahu wanted these talks to fail because he does not want peace in the ME. He wants Iran G O N E , period.

You are welcome to believe what you will. I can understand the comfort of the fairy tale. I lived with it for many years.
For centuries the deluded have been claiming that now is the time. Even of it were there is no indication that what you hope is going to happen will.
NOTHING is happening before our eyes that has not been happening since man developed weapons. Mankind loves to fight and mankind loves to speculate. Put those together and you get the story of organized religion.

I certainly don't believe that homosexual behavior is a sin. I am not much concerned about thieves as sinners actually.
It is people who are all rolled up in organized religions who like to worry about sin.
That is beside the point that people who steal are "sinners" they "sin" prior to marriage they "sin' after their marriage. So whether it is sexual activitiy or some other breach of morals in your estimation it seems to be only the same sex activity that Christians want to pass judgment on.
It doesn't matter to me, I just would don't understand the hypocrisy and apparently no Christians who want to judge homosexuals do either.
A sin is a sin is a sin.

I find it incredibly ironic, if not downright hypocritical, that conservative Christians are the most fervent at trying to shove their beliefs down everyone else's throat while they proclaim the L***Q community is doing the same.

The only thing the L***Q community is doing is refusing to be bullied by Christian conservatives. And like all bullies, when the t***h about their t***sgressions come out, conservative Christians just bellyache louder.
