And to think, this is discussed at the "White Privilege Conference", shocking that this was the 16th annual meeting of this erstwhile group.

Somehow fox missed reporting on this event

Wow, how shocking is that; a Libtard criticizing the Tea party.

I'm not a member of the Tea Party but the group is spot on with their calls for a more limited government. What many members of the Tea Party don't realize however, is that they will get a more limited government without having to lift a finger; they just have to wait. Mathematics (non Common Core) will bring about an end to the United States government as we know it. This is an absolute certainty and guaranteed by truly simple math.

The unfunded liabilities of the Federal Government are estimated to be well over $200 trillion (with a 'T') dollars. I've seen numbers as high as $238 Trillion and that's just for the Federal Government. If you add in the unfunded liabilities of State and Local governments, that could add another $40 Trillion. It's safe to say our country has total debt obligations of anywhere from $240 Trillion to $278 Trillion US Dollars.

Between US individual workers and US businesses, their combined taxable income is roughly $7.5 trillion a year. There are many US workers who pay little to no income tax at the moment but let’s forget about that; for the moment. All Americans and businesses work in order to provide for their families so some of that $7.5 trillion must be taken home. The rest goes to the Federal, State, and in some cases Local governments in the form of taxes. But let’s forget about our personal needs for a moment as well.

Let’s use the low number of $240 trillion and let’s also say the government will begin to confiscate 100% of everyone’s paychecks . $240 Trillion divided by $7.5 Trillion means they would have to confiscate 100% of everyone’s paychecks (including all businesses) for the next 32 years straight until those obligations can be met.

I’m done (so is the US) so you can continue with your bashing of the group that wants a more limited government. It is going to happen and there is nothing you can do to stop it unless you can personally stroke a check to the gubmnt for $250 Trillion, give or take.

you have it all wrong pal..I have been present at a few Tea Party assemblies, and the crowd, which were very large, had a very wide range of participants, meaning all races were present, old and young, male and female..I talked with quite a few of these nice people, and I would say it was very close to being evenly divided, as in republicans and democrats, and some independents, but did not talk with many libertarians..So, until you actually go to one of these rallies, you do not know what you are speaking of..Tea means Taxed Enough Already, and this saying goes back to our nations independence revolution time..this is for DJRich....

For me personally, I am going to call Conservatives ", r****ts", as long as they call Liberals, "C*******ts", "Socialists" of "Marxists". Because I am none of those. And I am sure not all Conservatives are "r****t", but if they continue to generalize, so will I.

DJRich,

It is pretty obvious that the marxists view the Tea Party as a very serious threat, thus the extreme efforts to misrepresent who they are. The tea party is made up primarily of those ever day citizens who think that the Federal government is TOO BIG, TOO INTRUSIVE, TOO "TAX AND SPEND" (TEA = Taxed Enough Already), even to the point of being unconstitutional.
George Soros is spending a lot of money to push that misinformation and many DUPES are helping him by producing and posting his propaganda.
All posters of this tripe are not DUPES, they actually want the United States to become a socialist country. (Which are you DJRich ?) :?:

Learn how to think, speak and write in English. Then maybe we will understand what your twisted rant means, other than that you are a bigot.

"Limited government" is well and good, but it will mean nothing if we don't address the root-cause of our fiscal instability,, which is the monetary-system itself. All that usurious debt and unfunded liability will never be paid down, no matter how much we cut spending or tax or eviscerate budgets. Austerity is not the answer. We need to re-boot the entire system and make a steady t***sition to saner, sustainable monetary-policy unchained from the Fed's debt-currency regime, which is designed to perpetuate ine******y and peonage.

Look I don't expect a two year old, such as yourself, to understand it. It's obviously way over your head, intellectually.
