I’m glad to see 2016 P**********l candidate and US Senator Rand Paul annoying the Left.

Before I get to the news I want to reiterate that those who enter the US either legally or illegally, request asylum, and then are granted political asylum (become asylees) are just as much refugees as those we fly in. Our present asylum process is also a result of the Refugee Act of 1980 and once someone is granted political asylum they are eligible for all the perks of those we have flown in. They can also seek out the ‘services’ of the nine major federal resettlement contractors.

The Republican p**********l candidate said the refugee screening process is “absolutely not” rigorous enough to allow migrants into the United States. “The fact that we had two Iraqi refugees posing as refugees come into our country and want to attack us with stinger missiles shows that it wasn’t, and I don’t believe still is, very rigorous,” he said.

“The Boston bombers came here as refugees,” Paul noted. “We coddled them, we gave them free stuff, we gave them free housing, and yet, they decided to attack us, so there’s a great risk.”

Despite accusations that Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev moved to the United States through the refugee program, the family never applied for refugee status to gain entry into the country. Instead, their family arrived on a six-month visa and applied for political asylum once they were in the United States. [You see how the Left spins this, they are just as much refugees as those we have flown in]

“It’s a mistake for the Obama administration to downplay the risk,” Paul said, adding he fought the Obama administration “all week in the Senate and I promise you this battle’s not over.”

Last week, Paul introduced a bill to put a moratorium on U.S. visas for refugees; in a speech to congress, the Kentucky senator argued, “…when the poem beneath the Statue of Liberty says ‘give me your tired, give me your poor,’ it didn’t say come to our country and we’ll put you on welfare.”

By the way, when you hear someone say we only bring in 70,000 (soon to be 85,000) refugees, please remember that we also grant asylum to approximately 25,000 more each year, then we admit 50,000 (probably not screened!) in through the absolutely insane ‘Diversity Visa Lottery.’ Hundreds of thousands are here in the ‘Temporary Protected Status’ category, and thousands more through other smaller legal programs, not to mention tens of thousands of unaccompanied alien children.

So, I guess I am saying don’t focus exclusively on the 10,000 Syrians, there is much more danger and expense throughout the system.

Maine's problem with the flood of migrants into the state—some are resettled refugees, but others are asylum seekers who have flocked there to enjoy the generosity of Maine’s social service programs while waiting out the legal asylum process.

Maine’s Somali community is adding more diversity to the state — and huge new costs, according to a top state official.

Mayhew

Maine’s huge number of refugees and asylum-seekers are heavy welfare users and are putting significant economic strain on the state, Health and Human Services Commissioner Mary Mayhew.

Speaking on “The Laura Ingraham Show,” Mayhew rejected an argument by a local media outlet that the state’s Somali community could be Maine’s savior.

“Overall, we have seen an increased burden to the infrastructure and the welfare programs in the face of other significant competing priorities for this state, especially related to our rapidly aging population, our elderly,” she said.

Maine has been a popular destination for refugees in recent years, mostly from Somalia and other African countries. Lewiston and Portland have taken the most, with Lewiston’s mayor recently speaking out about the fiscal impact on his city.

Maine Gov. Paul LePage has led a drive to reform social welfare programs for refugees and citizens alike. Since taking office, food stamp use is down by 58,000 people. Fewer people are on Medicaid, as well, Mayhew said.

Here is a great idea for your state!

Mayhew noted that a new work requirement for food stamps for able-bodied people between the ages of 18 and 49 with no children — which included an option of volunteering just one hour a day — knocked many off the program for failure to comply.

Mayhew said LePage has fought against granting welfare benefits to i*****l i*******ts who have applied for asylum.
Is your state giving welfare benefits to asylum seekers? At the federal level that is prohibited.
Somalis initially found Maine’s generous welfare system and headed in droves to Lewiston.

“John Kerry: “Rationale” for Charlie Hebdo attack more understandable,” CBS News, November 3, 2015

Secretary of State John Kerry on Tuesday suggested that the “rationale” for the terrorist attack against the satirical French publication Charlie Hebdo, which left 12 people dead in January, is more understandable than any rationale for last week’s attacks in Paris.

Senate Foreign Relations Chairman Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., rubs his faces as he listens to Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., speak during his confirmation hearing to become the next top diplomat, replacing Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, on Capitol Hill in Washington. Kerry is likely to face friendly questioning on a smooth path to approval before the committee he has served on for 28 years and led for the past four. (AP Photo/Pablo Martinez Monsivais)

“There’s something different about what happened from Charlie Hebdo, and I think everybody would feel that,” he said in remarks at the U.S. Embassy in Paris. “There was a sort of particularized focus and perhaps even a legitimacy in terms of – not a legitimacy, but a rationale that you could attach yourself to somehow and say, ‘Okay, they’re really angry because of this and that.’ This Friday was absolutely indiscriminate.”

What a nightmare. The US Secretary of State announced to the whole world that the wholesale slaughter of the editorial staff of a magazine was understandable, justified even. The “rationale”? They refused to submit to Islamic law.

Did Kerry convert to Islam? Murdering journalists because they violate arcane and barbaric sharia law is “understandable”? Kerry relates to this? Is clitordectomies understandable? Forced marriage? If he sanctions murder of the press, what will he acquiesce to next? Kerry has lost his seat at the table of humanity.

Is it any wonder that the savages are winning?

Every American should appalled by this kept savage. In a rational world, he would be forced to resign his cabinet position. But the reality is that Obama is one of them and viciously adheres to the sharia. One week after the jihad slaughter of our Ambassador and military attaches in B******i, Obama announced to the world, “the future must not belong to those who insult the prophet of Islam.” They are destroying America and freedom.

“France: Only 30 Muslims show up for rally against Paris jihad attacks,” November 18, 2015

That’s thirty Muslims out of around five million Muslims in France. This is not the first time that attendance at a Muslim rally against terrorism has been decidedly underwhelming. In July 2015, a Muslim rally in Ireland against the Islamic State drew fifty people. In October 2014 in Houston, a rally against the Islamic State organized by the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) drew the grand total of ten people. In August 2013 in Boston, about 25 Muslims rallied against “misperceptions” that Islam was violent. About the same number showed up in June 2013 at a progressive Muslim rally in Toronto to claim that their religion had been “hijacked.”

This is typical. Despite the tens of thousands of deadly Islamic attacks since 9/11, never has there been a rally or movement against jihad that ever garnered more than a handful of Muslims. I remember heading down to DC in 2005 for a “major Muslims rally against terror” and no one showed up.

Instead we have come to expect wails of “fear of reprisals” and bogus “Islamophobia”claims after every Islamic jihad terror attack. Conversely, according to the FBI “h**e crimes” against Muslims has decreased. And while Muslims in the US condemn the Islamic State, where are they teaching against the ideology that gave rise to it?

Right now, nothing is being done to stop jihad recruiting in US mosques, even as several hundred young Muslims from the US have gone to wage jihad for the Islamic State.

Obama’s response to this unimaginable religious slaughter is to dig in his heels and bulldoze forward on bringing these jihadists here, while mocking and taunting those of us who oppose bringing these devout assassins to America.

It’s not just that Obama CREATED the threat by leaving Iraq precipitously and giving an opportunity to this group; he refuses to fight. On the contrary, he continues to carry water for and protect the most extreme and barbaric ideology on the face of the earth.

(He's got some good ideas)

RETIRED HUSBAND

After I retired, my wife insisted that I accompany her on her trips to Target.

Unfortunately, like most men; I found shopping boring and preferred to get in and get out.

Equally unfortunate, my wife is like most women - she loves to
browse.

Yesterday my dear wife received the following letter, from the local Target:

Dear Mrs. Harris,

Over the past six months, your husband has
caused quite a commotion, in our store.
We cannot tolerate this behavior and
have been forced to, ban both of you from the store.
Our complaints against
your husband, Mr. Harris, are listed below and are documented by our video
surveillance cameras:

1. June 15: He took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly
put them in other people's carts when they weren't looking.

2. July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute intervals.

3. July 7: He made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the women's restroom.

4. July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an official voice, 'Code 3 in Housewares. Get on it right away'.
This caused the employee to leave her assigned station and receive a reprimand from her Supervisor that in turn resulted with a union grievance, causing management to lose time and costing the company money. We don't have a Code 3.

5. August 4: Went to the Service Desk and tried to put a bag of M&Ms on layaway.

6. August 14: Moved a, 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area.

7. August 15: Set up a tent in the camping department and told the children shoppers he'd invite them in if they would bring pillows and blankets from the bedding department to which twenty children obliged.

8. August 23: When a clerk asked if they could help him he began crying and screamed, 'Why can't you people just
leave me alone?'
EMTs were called.

9. September 4: Looked right into the security camera and used it, as a mirror while he picked his nose.

10. September 10: While handling guns in the hunting department, he asked the clerk where the antidepressants were.

11. October 3: Darted around the store suspiciously while, loudly humming the, 'Mission Impossible' theme.

12. October 6: In the auto department, he practiced his, 'Madonna Look' using different sizes of funnels.

13. October 18: Hid in a clothing rack and when
people browsed through, yelled 'PICK ME! PICK ME!'

14. October 22: When an announcement came over the loud speaker, he assumed a fetal position and screamed;
'OH NO! IT'S THOSE VOICES AGAIN!'

15. Took a box of condoms to the checkout clerk and asked where is the fitting room?

And last,but not least:

16. October 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the door,
waited awhile; then yelled very loudly, 'Hey! There's no toilet paper in here.'
One of the clerks passed out.

This story is said to be true: IRS actually commented on this one.
Something to ponder ...... but, still worth a broad Smile !

Amazing, but true, if you think about it, and it shows the importance
of accuracy in your tax return.

The IRS has returned the Tax Return to a man in New Jersey after he apparently
answered one of the questions incorrectly. In response to the
question, ... "Do you have anyone dependent on you ?"
The man wrote: ... "2.1 million i*****l i*******ts, 1.1 million
crackheads,4.4 million unemployable scroungers,
80,000 criminals in over 85 prisons plus 650 i***ts in Washington and
the entire group that call themselves Politicians".

IRS stated that the response he gave was unacceptable.

The man's response back was, ... "Who did I leave out ?"

When considering the make-believe universe theorists say -

Are they all seeing the window (doors!) open in Obama’s last year in office?

It is from the Los Angeles Times and says that numbers are increasing again at our southern border and that possibly a new surge is on the way. Here is a bit of what that article says:

The number of families illegally crossing the southern U.S. border has more than doubled over the same period last fall, prompting concern about a new surge of migrants from Central America.

Many more unaccompanied children are also crossing, with 4,476 apprehended in September — an 85% increase over that month in 2014, according to new Border Patrol data.

[….]

The concern among immigration officials and advocates is that the situation is building up to a repeat of the unprecedented influx on the southern border in 2014, when more than 68,000 unaccompanied children and as many families crossed illegally, mainly into Texas.

Here come the Syrians!

However, the big news yesterday and this morning is that Syrians may be among the OTMs (Other than Mexicans) headed to the US. I’m guessing that half of the third-world is eyeing the window of opportunity as Obama heads into his last full year in office figuring they need to make the move now in case an immigration restrictionist Republican like Trump heads to the White House at the end of the year.

2016 could well be the most critical year to CLOSE our borders. Could we get the minutemen back in business???

Barack and good ol’Joe: 2016 is our year to get it done—to flood America with impoverished migrants and thus to change America by changing the people! As a Senator, Joe Biden was (with Ted Kennedy) one of the architects of the Refugee Act of 1980.

Obama has staked his Presidency on changing America and one important, and arguably the most fundamental way to do that, is by changing the people—remember his Task Force on New Americans plan to colonize, to “seed” American towns with diversity? It is still going forward, but if those concerned with security succeed, that plan will be chilled somewhat as the numbers of ‘seedlings’ are reduced in this last full year of the scheme.

Obama is very angry today because he is not going to be awarded humanitarian of the year. He was expected to deliver America to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees by leading the world in resettling huge numbers of Syrian Muslims to your towns and cities. The way things are going, he could fail. See Unloading on Republicans: http://www.nbcnews.com/meet-the-press/first-read-obama-unloads-gop-candidates-over-refugee-refusal-n465461
Indeed, the refugees aren’t even anywhere near the largest group of immigrants getting into the US these days, but their wide range of ethnic diversity makes them a critical part of the plan.

But that isn’t all of it…..

Obama must satisfy the United Nations

Obama must bring in a large number of Syrian refugees to carry out the United Nations agenda. For decades, the US has admitted half (or more than half) of the world’s resettled refugees and the UN uses that number to pressure other countries to take more. Oh, and when I say “resettled refugees” I don’t mean those migrants (and wannabe asylum seekers) on the move across Europe and elsewhere in the world.

I am talking about the refugees who are chosen by the United Nations which does the first screening and then persuades westernized countries to take them PERMANENTLY—to make them v****g citizens of their new first-world country.

When the Syrian civil war began in earnest, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres told western countries that they must take-in for permanent resettlement 130,000 Syrians (again, these are mostly Syrians in UN camps, not those who have decided to move west—invasion-style—on their own).

And, so 65,000 became the magic number the US was expected to take. All of that is chronicled in several posts here at RRW in the last two years. (I should have explained where the 65,000 came from when I wrote this post.)

The UNHCR fully expected the US to take that number—65,000—long before now because if the US took the lead and moved aggressively to do that, the UNHCR would use it as a pressure point on the other countries d**gging their feet on making commitments.

In that recent Georgetown gig, Guterres hinted at the importance of the US leading the world (sort of like a Judas goat). Of course, Germany (and Merkel) are upstaging Obama now in the race for ‘humanitarian’ extraordinaire of the year and so….

Obama looks exceedingly weak for not being able to deliver America.

And, therefore he is really (really!) angry as he unloaded on GOP candidates’ earlier.

Obama is very angry today because he is not going to be awarded humanitarian of the year.

The nine major federal resettlement contractors determining the futures of your cities and states like to call themselves VOLAGs (short for Voluntary agencies)—a joke considering how much federal money they receive (some of it to care for those unaccompanied alien children crossing the border). They all lobby for amnesty for i*****l a***ns while being funded mostly by you, the taxpayer:
