Thank you, sir/m'am!

I, perhaps, was being a little too defensive. Tonight, I'm a little disappointed from several posts that seem to discourage even trying to attempt any kind of reasonable discussion, or get along in any way. It's disheartening!

Those posts, in fairness, were not all on this thread, but spread around several. I don't see many (if any) attempts to reach any level of accord. Just, fussin' & fightin', and hurling insults, names, and accusations.

It makes me wonder: How can we expect our legislators to civily discuss matters, when we can't, on a simple forum?

A Men....you get AAA from me. I am sick and tired when someone has to respond with guttural ignorance presumably to save face.

As John Boehner said that this is not a game. Note: (I don't believe John).

As you point out we can't expect those in office to refrain from such tactics when we can't. And we don't even know who we are responding to.

Keep to the issue at hand, respond respectfully and above all respect an individual to have a different opinion, however, address it.

True...and that's why I said the GOP could do a lot worse!
I'm speaking, strictly, from a reasonable point of view.

Your speaking from a reasonable point of view is acceptable.

Amen! However, the Holy Bible does give information that most people don't know where to look for, but it's there. The Bible does tell you where heaven is. It does tell you where Hell, and the Lake of Fire are. It answers questions over and over, because it is the absolute "T***h" of all things. Leaves no stone unturned.

Heaven, hell and the Lake of Fire are virtual places, only in religion is that a belief.

I made the comment, a while back, that Condoleezza Rice would be a perfect candidate...especially for V.P., on the GOP ticket...for the very reason you just stated!

Her being both a woman, a minority, and with impeccable qualifications...makes a perfect choice for the 2nd spot.

Quite frankly, the GOP could do worse than her for the top spot!

However, the credentials of CR, she is still a Republican and they don't promote confidence right now.

Oh, and just what was that "Bush/Cheney,economic debacle?" Give me facts now, not just your ramblin' i***tic opinion.

Are we supposed to rely on the spin coming from the AMERICAN THINKER....give me a break.

Hilary will not be winning anything. You can count on that. Republicans were the peaceful party for many many years. Under the Republican Pres Lincoln, they fought to free the s***es, Dems fought to keep them. The GOP (Grand Old Party) has been slammed by the Dems ever since Pelosi took her first seat under Pres GW Bush, the one who kept this great country standing for 8 years under the worst attack and calamities possible. Bill Clinton w Lomica Lowinsky started the worst snaggle-toothed inner governmental war that we still live under today. Pelosi and Hilary are the same as feeding this country food poisoning year after year.

You don't even make a good argument....have you been sleeping or just locked on to Fox, Rush, Bill and the others?

You bring up the Pres. Clinton w Monica Lewinsky incident and call it "the worst snaggle toothed inner governmental war". The one thing that negates your statement is when you avoided Pres. Nixon's WATERGATE. That in itself says a lot. But then why would you? Stupid of me to say that.

What I would like to see, since you believe in Pres. Bush, so much is for the Reps. to bring on a challenger like GW and see where it ends up. It would carry a similar outcome like when Pres. Obama beat out Mitt by 5,000,000 v**es.

What friggin nonsense. The only changes environment can induce, are those that are already there. They may be latent, but there is no way for NEW characteristics to evolve. What kind of a system is it that you think can rearrange it's prime structure into a different species? How would it ever know or plan for such an event. You therefore assume that within all DNA are the possibilities of infinite change triggered by the proper environment. That is fantasy. Can a leopard change it's spots? Can an ant become a rat? Can an oyster fly? C'mon, this is science fiction, not science.

The Reps., well they can rant on their ignorance but it is not totally their fault they only go by what they are told by their e*****rates. That is sad. Bye Bye

Even proud people can use help sometimes. You never know. Hopefully you never get in a position where you might need a helping hand. I have a sister that was on food stamps until she went back to school, got a great job and is now a high ranking official in the company. Not all recipients are deadbeats.

Thank You for that AA. But it is doubtful that that will have any impact on the opposition. If they see one bad apple in the bushel basket they want to through out the whole basket.

You are so caught up in your position that there is no way in connecting with you.

You as many do don't stay on point and only react instead of responding to the issue at hand. If I would ask you what they are lying about I'm assured you would say everything. Don't respond unless its on point.

Just because anyone is an US citizen doesn't necessary qualify them to v**e! There are standards for US citizens to v**e - first of all identity is important - your history (felon?) . Our Founding Fathers only wanted Americans with capital interest in this Republic v****g - not people on the dole! We now have a class of people in this country v****g themselves the National Treasury. And it is just what the elitist want - its the only way they can stay in power.

What I said was the way the Reps. are putting new controls on US citizens there is no way that they are going to allow i******s to v**e. Especially since you know they would lean to Dem's.

Look! They have denied people that have been v****g for Pres. for many many years that are in their 90's. You know who I am talking about too. They target elderly that have to survive on wh**ever they get. Old people that have v**ed with no birth certificate or t***sportation are denied unless they come to one place in the state to register. Your no fool Alex, you know what I am talking about.

These people should have a grandfather clause with their v****g record that they refuse. They are not fooling anyone.

And they purposely deny those people that they feel will v**e Democratic while The Republicans pile on money in secret. They don't wear halo's by any means.

They only tell it like it is which the Republican constituents don't get from their electives.

Commenting on facts, unlike the Rep. campaign manager prior to the Gen. e******n stated that he would not change his strategy because of facts, that says an awful lot as to where the party stands.
