There is waaay too much h**e from both sides on OP... (show quote)

Wrinkles on the face caused by age do not cause physical pain; nor do age spots. How is that for positive recognition. There are many more if a person allows themselves to calmly recognize them. Also, think about the fact that we all have the freedom to dwell on the good, as opposed to the bad. Hope your post makes people think about all the things we have to be thankful for. And that's a positive wish.

At a winery, the regular taster died and the director started looking for a new one to hire.

A drunkard badbobby with a ragged, dirty look came in to apply for the position. The director of the winery wondered how to send him away. He gave him a glass to drink.

Badbobby tried it and said, “It's a Muscat, three years old, grown on a north slope, matured in steel containers. Low grade, but acceptable.”

"That's correct", said the director. Another glass...
“This is a Cabernet, eight years old, a south-western slope, oak barrels, matured at 8 degrees. Requires three more years for the finest results.”

"Correct." A third glass... "It's a Pinot Blanc Champagne, high grade and exclusive,'' badbobby said calmly.

The director was astonished. He winked at his secretary, secretly suggesting something. She left the room and came back in with a glass of urine.

Badbobby tried it. "It's a blond, 26 years old, three months pregnant and if I don't get the job I'll name the father."

And that is how badbobby ended up working at the winery.

Great explanation of your feelings, Archie. Simple and to the point. I'm with you. It's difficult to feel positive and upbeat when reading all that negativity. I enjoy discussions but refuse to argue; especially with closed minds. When one resorts to name calling and/or insults it's a dead give away that they left their open mind somewhere along the way. They can no longer say, "I cannot agree with your opinion at this time". "Am I missing something"? "Can you further explain your point of view?"

Much the loss for THEM as it's difficult, if not impossible, to learn with a closed mind. And if we stop learning......... well you get the picture.

This is a repost of what I was sent as a true story. This Marine is a true man of honor. I hope all appreciate this .....

A nurse took the tired, anxious serviceman to the bedside of a patient.

"Your son is here," she said to the old man in the bed.

She had to repeat the words several times before the patient's eyes opened.

Heavily sedated because of the pain of his heart attack, he dimly saw the young uniformed Marine standing outside the oxygen tent. He reached out his hand. The Marine wrapped his toughened fingers around the old man's limp ones, squeezing a message of love and encouragement.

The nurse brought a chair so that the Marine could sit beside the bed. All through the night the young Marine sat there in the poorly lighted ward, holding the old man's hand and offering him words of love and strength. Occasionally, the nurse suggested that the Marine move away and rest awhile. He refused.

Whenever the nurse came into the ward, the Marine was oblivious of her and of the night noises of the hospital...the clanking of the oxygen tank, the laughter of the night staff members exchanging greetings, the cries and moans of the other patients. Now and then she heard him say a few gentle words. The dying man said nothing, only held tightly to his son all through the night.

Along towards dawn, the old man died. The Marine released the now lifeless hand he had been holding and went to tell the nurse.

While she did what she had to do, he waited.

Finally, she returned. She started to offer words of sympathy, but the Marine interrupted her.

"Who was that man?" he asked.

The nurse was startled, "He was your father," she answered.

"No, he wasn't," the Marine replied. "I never saw him before in my life."

"Then why didn't you say something when I took you to him?" asked the nurse.

"I knew right away there had been a mistake, but I also knew that he needed his son, and his son just wasn't here. When I realized he was too sick to tell whether or not I was his son, knowing how much he needed me, I stayed. I came here tonight to find a Mr. William Grey. His son was k**led in Iraq today, and I was sent to inform him. What was this gentleman's name?"

The nurse, with tears in her eyes, answered, "Mr. William Grey."

The next time someone needs you...just be there. Stay. We are not human beings going through a temporary spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings going through a temporary human experience.

Please pass this on and you will be blessed. This is what we are put on this earth to do anyway, right? Have a great day and bless someone else in some small way today

I thought you were a medical expert. Don't you know that as people age, after about age 30, their bones begin to deteriorate. With increasing age, bones lose mass and mineral content, they are prone to osteoporosis, they become less dense and brittle, more fragile, and are more susceptible to fractures.

Epstein was 66 years old and weighed 180 pounds. If Epstein was kneeling and the noose was secured to a bed post, he would have had to fall forward to put his weight into it. The force on his neck would have been lateral, not vertical as in a gallows h*****g. Much easier to break bones in the neck and spine with a lateral force.

When I was a firefighter, we responded to a call of a suicide by h*****g in a university dorm. When we arrived, a campus police officer was already there. He had determined the victim was not breathing and there was no pulse. The paramedics with us confirmed that. No one moved the body or cut him down until the city police officers dispatched had arrived. The sergeant who investigated ruled it an unintentional auto-erotic asphyxiation. That was obvious.

The victim was about 18 or 19 years old, was quite thin, and weighed about 130 or 40 pounds. He had fashioned a noose with several pairs of panty hose, tied it to a ceiling beam, and stood on a chair. He either stepped off of it or kicked it out from under him. He was naked except for the panty hose he wore with a hole cut in the crotch, his g*****ls exposed. A knife lay on the floor beneath him, so he apparently intended to cut himself down before it was too late.

When the police sergeant finished his notes and concluded his investigation, he said we could cut him down so the ambulance crew could t***sport the body.

We assisted the paramedics in getting the body down and secured in a body bag. A paramedic cut the rope and everyone there noticed immediately that his neck was broken. His head flopped around without any skeletal or muscle support at all. Some vertebrae in his neck had obviously separated.

I never read the autopsy report on this guy so I have no clue what condition his body and bones were in. All I can say is he didn't appear very healthy, and it didn't take much to break his neck.

I don't know how or why Dr. Barbara Sampson, the NY ME, ruled Epstein's death a suicide. I don't know the extent or severity of internal injuries she found, including bone breaks. I don't know if she was politically motivated or under some kind of pressure. I don't know if she had been coerced, intimidated, or threatened in any way.

And neither do you.

I do know that if Dr. Sampson is a professional and wanted to keep her job, she certainly would have done the autopsy according to the ethics of the medical profession. To do otherwise could subject her to criminal prosecution.

Grammar Lesson: Is it "complete", "finished" or "Completely Finished”?

No English dictionary has been able to adequately explain the difference between these two words - "Complete" and "Finished”. In a recent linguistic competition held in London and attended by, supposedly, the best in the world, Samdar Balgobin, a Guyanese man, was the clear winner with a standing ovation which lasted over 5 minutes.

The final question was: “How do you explain the difference between COMPLETE and FINISHED in a way that is easy to understand? Some people say there is no difference between COMPLETE and FINISHED.”

Here is his astute answer: "When you marry the right woman, you are COMPLETE. When you marry the wrong woman, you are FINISHED. And, when the right one catches you with the wrong one, you are COMPLETELY FINISHED!"

Our Current Civil War

Dr. Jack Devere Minzey, born 6 October 1928- died 8 April 2018, was
the Department Head of Education at Eastern Michigan University as
well as a prolific author of numerous books, most of which were on the
topic of Education and the Government role therein.

(Editor's note)This was the last of his works:

Civil War: How do civil wars happen?
Dr. Jack Devere Minzey

Two or more sides disagree on who runs the country. And they can't
settle the question through e******ns because they don't even agree
that e******ns are how you decide who's in charge. That's the basic
issue here. Who decides who runs the country? When you h**e each other
but accept the e******n results, you have a country. When you stop
accepting e******n results, you have a countdown to a civil war.

The Mueller investigation was about removing President Trump from
office and overturning the results of an e******n. We all know that.
But it's not the first time Dems have done this. The first time a
Republican president was elected this century, they said he didn't
really win. The Supreme Court gave him the e******n. There's a pattern
here.

What do sure odds of the Democrats rejecting the next Republican
president really mean? It means they don't accept the results of any
e******n that they don't win. It means they don't believe that
t***sfers of power in this country are determined by e******ns. That's
a civil war.

There's no shooting. At least not unless you count the attempt to k**l
a bunch of Republicans at a charity baseball game practice. But the
Democrats have rejected our system of government.

This isn't dissent. It's not disagreement. You can h**e the other
party. You can think they're the worst thing that ever happened to the
country. But then you work harder to win the next e******n. When you
consistently reject the results of e******ns that you don't win, what
you want is a dictatorship.

Your very own dictatorship.

The only legitimate exercise of power in this country, according to
Democrats is it's own. Whenever Republicans exercise power, it's
inherently illegitimate. The Democrats lost Congress. They lost the
White House. So what did they do? They began trying to run the country
through Federal judges and bureaucrats. Every time that a Federal
judge issues an order saying that the President of the United States
can't scratch his own back without his say so, that's the civil war.

Our system of government is based on the constitution, but that's not
the system that runs this country. The Democrat's system is that any
part of government that it runs gets total and unlimited power over
the country.

If the Democrats are in the White House, then the president can do
anything. And I mean anything. He can have his own amnesty for illegal
aliens. He can fine you for not having health insurance. He can use
the IRS as his own police force and imprison citizens who speak
against him. He can provide guns and money (Fast and Furious) (Iran
nuclear deal) to other countries to support his own agenda, and watch
while one of America's Ambassadors is d**gged through the streets and
murdered doing nothing to aid our citizens.

His power is unlimited. He's a dictator.

But when Republicans get into the White House, suddenly the President
can't do anything. He isn't even allowed to undo the i*****l a***n
amnesty that his predecessor illegally invented.

A Democrat in the White House has 'discretion' to completely decide every
aspect of immigration policy. A Republican doesn't even have the 'discretion' to
reverse him. That's how the game is played That's how our country is
run. Sad but true, although the left hasn't yet won that particular fight.

When a Democrat is in the White House, states aren't even allowed to
enforce i*********n l*w. But when a Republican is in the White House,
states can create their own i*********n l*ws. Under Obama, a state
wasn't allowed to go to the bathroom without asking permission. But
under Trump, Jerry Brown can go around saying that California is an
independent republic and sign treaties with other countries. The
Constitution has something to say about that.

Whether it's Federal or State, Executive, Legislative or Judiciary,
the left moves power around to run the country. If it controls an
institution, then that institution is suddenly the supreme power in
the land. This is what I call a moving dictatorship.

Donald Trump has caused the Shadow Government to come out of hiding:
Professional government is a guild. Like medieval guilds. You can't
serve in if you're not a member. If you haven't been indoctrinated
into its arcane rituals. If you aren't in the club. And Trump isn't in
the club. He brought in a bunch of people who aren't in the club with
him.

Now we're seeing what the pros do when amateurs try to walk in on
them. They spy on them, they investigate them and they send them to
jail. They use the tools of power to bring them down.

That's not a free country.

It's not a free country when FBI agents who support Hillary take out
an 'insurance policy' against Trump winning the e******n. It's not a
free country when Obama officials engage in massive unmasking of the
opposition. It's not a free country when the media responds to the
other guy winning by trying to ban the conservative media that
supported him from social media. It's not a free country when all of
the above collude together to overturn an e******n because the guy who
wasn't supposed to win did.

Have no doubt, we're in a civil war between conservative volunteer
government and a l*****t Democrat professional government.

Well now Pilgrims and Patriots, having read the above I suggest two things;
forward this very timely, very important analysis to those whom you
believe think like you do and make sure you v**e on every E******n day!

I believe it's the only way to Keep America Great...........for a while anyway!

God Bless America!!!

Great news for all of us that h**e drinking our 8 glasses of water a day!

In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists have demonstrated that if we drink 1 liter of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. coli) bacteria found in feces. In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of Poop.

However, we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine (or rum, whiskey or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.

Remember: Water = Poop, Wine = Health

Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid, than to drink water and be full of s**t.
