Biblically unclean animals responsible for p******cs

Is it possible we've been ignoring the practicality and divine instructions?'

Nearly every influenza p******c for the last 1,000 years would have been prevented if the Bible's prohibition against "unclean" animals had been headed, argues Bible teacher David Rives.

The host of TBN’s "Creation in the 21st Century" and the author of "Bible Knows Best," Rives noted that the majority of such animals are scavengers that are prone to passing on diseases to humans.

Among them are bats, which are believed to have been the t***smitter of the c****av***s to humans in W***n, China.

"Do you find it even slightly curious that this p******c — responsible for countless tens of thousands of deaths around the world — originated from what appears to be the consumption of BATS in China?"

Such animals are "here for good reasons," Rivas said, such as cleaning the environment.

But eating them is not one of those reasons.

"Was God simply placing oppressive rules upon His people so that he could punish them when they broke His commands?" he asked. "Or do we believe that everything commanded by the Lord is not only just, but for our own good as well?"

Rivas noted that, genetically, some animals are remarkably adept at passing on deadly diseases to humans.

Research into past p******cs shows the following animals, along with mosquitoes and fleas, have been responsible for p******cs:

Pigs (Spanish Flu, Asian Flu, Swine Flu)
Bats and certain other avian creatures (SARS, MERS, and C****-**)
Pangolins (possibly C****-**)
Chimpanzees (HIV/AIDS)
Rats (Black Death, Great Plague of London, Third Plague)
Camels (MERS)
Dogs (Hong Kong Flu, Asian Flu)
Civet Cats [mongoose-like creatures] (SARS)
Those animals are on the list God gave to Moses of animals forbidden for the Jewish people.

"If a fortune-teller or magician could somehow 'divine' the next few thousand years of disease, they couldn’t have made a better list of animals not to eat," Rives said.

Arguing the mention of clean and unclean animals was not exclusive to the Jews, he pointed out it goes back to the time of Noah.

"Noah clearly knew the difference between clean and unclean, since God Himself caused only two of each unclean kind to enter the ark, but called seven pairs of each clean animal."

The early Christian church also followed the Lord’s commands regarding unclean animals, Rives said. Peter's vision of unclean animals didn't rescind the instruction not to eat unclean food, Rives argued. The point was that no man should be called unclean.

Rives said that, conservatively, an estimated 280 million lives have been lost to p******cs originating with unclean animals.

"Is it possible that we've been ignoring the practicality and divine instructions regarding health practices? Instructions which prohibit the eating of bats as food, and encourage washing our hands under running water, and practicing distancing and isolation from people who have diseases?"

Rives said he's not judging anyone regarding their eating preferences.

"I have merely stated scientific facts that confirm what the Bible teaches," he said. "What I am suggesting is that, once again, the Bible knows best.

The fact is, many deaths are listed as C***D when they are not. You're going to have to face reality one day. Sure people die at home but you're assuming its from the v***s when people have always died at home from various conditions.

On their site the CDC has guidelines for what to put on death certificates. It pretty much says if there's a suspicion then put the cause of death as the v***s.

Open. Your. Eyes.

Yes, that medical billing coding is a bit broad. I guess because no corpses pay their "pay there own way", it's a easy way to make some money.

It depends, I think the biggest opportunity is to pull all our troops home, which eliminate the need for special contractors all over ending, our self imposed wars.

That could save a Trillion Dollars annually.

An accurate count may not matter to most people, but for our medical community it measures the v***s and effectiveness of treatment. As it stands, all deaths in the USA are in question. Morgue technicians and corners are being told to count anyone who dies who has the trace markers for the SIF Chinese v***s as death due to the v***s. This means counting false positives and current tests are reported to be 80 percent WRONG!

It is a tough call:

When I was in high school, I had a couple of teachers that brought up the body counts during the Vietnam War...in that they kept track of them. They joked that if you had taken the counts and annualized the data the US Army would have wiped the Vietcong many times over.

Hence, was born my interest in Statistics and less so in history.

I work with warranty data, and the big question is how do you figure out when the warranty will end?

The Weibull analysis is the best method, in that it incorporates empirical as well as statistical inference. There are very precise approaches to understand whether components (such as bearings, resistors, fasteners) are performing to their design and other methods to analysis assemblies (four bar mechanisms, release handles, throttles, brake calipers and so on). In the end, the only method that works the best is understanding a population and collecting data from that population. It is difficult to provide empirical choices to what appear to be "normal" populations. For instance, recently, b****s have been identified as the biggest at risk population and justified by per capita comparisons. As in Detroit, where 80% of the population is black, I would the numbers to be very high-but compared to the rest of the state, it is meaningless as the death rate climbs in rural areas.

I guess what I'm saying is: we have to understand the rate, that is the best method for now....and in my opinion, until we possess a v*****e, stay home. No amount of statistics, however carefully managed will bear the real fruit to end this.

Well, since the v***s seems to have originated from Europe, perhaps that is a mute point. I guess if he had started these trade wars 3 years ago and actually prevented Europe from shipping to the US, would have been the only way.

Radiance,
How can you defend "chemically sterilizing millions of unwilling Kenyan women with a “tetanus” v*****e campaign"? If a woman in Kenya wanted to have children, should that not be her choice? Who is Bill Gates to say who has a right to have children, and who does not. If he offered them a "sterilization v*****e" and they willingly took it, that is one thing. To hide that fact under the guise of a tetanus v*****e is immoral!

Please defend this in our own country, what was the reason?

http://www.pbs.org/independentlens/blog/unwanted-sterilization-and-eugenics-programs-in-the-united-states/

Coerced sterilization is a shameful part of America’s history, and one doesn’t have to go too far back to find examples of it. Used as a means of controlling “undesirable” populations – immigrants, people of color, poor people, unmarried mothers, the disabled, the mentally ill – federally-funded sterilization programs took place in 32 states throughout the 20th century. Driven by prejudiced notions of science and social control, these programs informed policies on immigration and segregation.

As historian William Deverell explains in a piece discussing the “Asexualization Acts” that led to the sterilization of more than 20,000 California men and women,“If you are sterilizing someone, you are saying, if not to them directly, ‘Your possible progeny are inassimilable, and we choose not to deal with that.’”

According to Andrea Estrada at UC Santa Barbara, forced sterilization was particularly rampant in California (the state’s eugenics program even inspired the N**is):

Beginning in 1909 and continuing for 70 years, California led the country in the number of sterilization procedures performed on men and women, often without their full knowledge and consent. Approximately 20,000 sterilizations took place in state institutions, comprising one-third of the total number performed in the 32 states where such action was legal. (from The UC Santa Barbara Current)

“There is today one state,” wrote Hitler, “in which at least weak beginnings toward a better conception [of citizenship] are noticeable. Of course, it is not our model German Republic, but the United States.” (from The L.A. Times)

Researcher Alex Stern, author of the new book Eugenic Nation: Faults and Frontiers of Better Breeding in America, adds:

“In the early 20th century across the country, medical superintendents, legislators, and social reformers affiliated with an emerging eugenics movement joined forces to put sterilization laws on the books. Such legislation was motivated by crude theories of human heredity that posited the wholesale inheritance of traits associated with a panoply of feared conditions such as criminality, feeblemindedness, and sexual deviance. Many sterilization advocates viewed reproductive surgery as a necessary public health intervention that would protect society from deleterious genes and the social and economic costs of managing ‘degenerate stock’.”
