Trump yesterday said the Presidents authority is total.

If Obama ever said this what would you be saying today. Now be honest just answer the question. He made this statement while attempting to show he has total authority over the states.

That’s exactly what he said the president has total author over states rights.

Yea, during a state of emergency the president has 100 percent authority over the states. And I would not have said anything different about Obama doing it or trump. I dont worship politicians. I dont like the fact that trump has shut America down and is allowing different governors to completely take away their states rights. Using the constitution for toilet paper.

When Obama refused to enforce Federal Laws about i*****l i*********n and border state governors tried to keep waves and waves and waves of i*****l i*******ts from poring into their states by enforcing the laws that Obama did not, Obama said they did not have that right. He used his power as Amerika's Dick-Tator to stop them.

And yes interstate commerce why can’t Trump get Ventilators, PPE, and test kits he can control all manufacturing in this country, when he evoked the federal emergency, the president has 100% control over the supply chain he never used that authority except letting the states fend for themselves and created a bid war that allowed the manufacturer At price gouging by instead of shipping the equipment needed shipped direct to the hospital they gave the inventory to the private sector, and brokers, who put the PPE’s ventilator, and test kits out for a bid. Not only were 50 states bidding they were bidding against the federal government and other countries around the world.

Trump could have thru the federal government taken control of this equipment and dispersed it to the areas of need. The US military is perfectly capable of doing this function there qualified and they know how to d it. So Trump had the people he evoked a national emergency and had the authority but allowed every manufactors to price gouge by going threw a brokers. So what happened is a mask that these hospitals bought direct from the factories before the p******c cost .79 cents each and had to pay $7.65 each all legal bypass gouging laws and use a broker.

The president does not have 100% authority over the states. He criticized the states for there slow reaction. He said the national p******c was the responsibility of the states not the federal government. So if he had the authority what did he do nothing except a travel ban on foreign nationals attempting to come into this country from flights that that originated in the infected area of China. There was no shutdown of borders all we got was Trump downplaying the v***s for 2 1/2 months.
If it was up to Trump there would not have been any stay at home orders by the governors and if not for the actions of these governors what condition would this country be in today.
