What kind of fool are you? Who is going to run the country? Congress? They can’t get anything done regardless which party is in charge! Trump’s doing a great job, tweets or no tweets. The economy is humming along, the military is finally being funded again, unemployment is way down, consumer confidence is way up and wages are on the climb. All this is due to having a president that knows what he is doing. We need a president to lead our country and that’s what President Trump has done, lead.

Donald Trump is proof that the U.S. presidency is broken and democracy is in peril. It's time to amend the Constitution and abolish the presidency. Abolish the POTUS! We’ve seen it: the belligerent typo-ridden tweets; the fawning press conferences with autocrats and overlords; the self-described N**is on parade praising an American president’s name. We have seen it with our own eyes. There is a bloated authoritarian lounging in his bathrobe in a 200-year-old mansion that used to symbolize the principal republic of the world. This is a man who openly conspired to c***t with the help of a hostile foreign nation in a federal e******n. On e******n night, he came in second place, yet due to a scab ...

You are absolutely ignorant. There is a process for entering the country as a refugee. You go to a designated entry point and request asylum for yourself and your family. A judicial proceeding will determine whether you qualify for asylum. No separation. Cross the southern border at any other place, and you have entered illegally and you are arrested. Now tell me, when a man or woman citizen of the U.S. commits a crime, does the judge send the children to prison with the man or woman? I think not. They are separated. Many of the children accompanying an adult at the border were not even related to that adult, which is why identification through DNA was necessary. The children were only being used to get into the country. ( By the way, why do you suppose the kidnapping of children has skyrocketed in Central American countries and Mexico?) These children would have been sold into s***ery or used for sex trafficking. Despicable!

We have a HUGE problem on our border, and people with caring, compassion, and commonsense are needed to solve the problem. Both parties in our government need to work together to solve the problem -- no identity politics for the Dems, no cheap labor for the Repubs. Get it done!

My advice to you, think with your head and not your emotion.

Murray Waas reports Mueller has evidence that implicates Trump in obstruction of justice

This is from reporter Murray Waas, and it is a frickin’ bombshell:

Previously undisclosed evidence in the possession of Special Counsel Robert Mueller—including highly confidential White House records and testimony by some of President Trump’s own top aides—provides some of the strongest evidence to date implicating the president of the United States in an obstruction of justice. Several people who have reviewed a portion of this evidence say that, based on what they know, they believe it is now all but inevitable that the special counsel will complete a confidential report presenting evidence that President Trump violated the law.

You may remember that on Feb. 14, 2017, Trump asked then-FBI director James Comey to let former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn off the hook. Flynn ultimately pled guilty to lying to the FBI, and is cooperating with the Mueller investigation into Trump and Russia. Comey has stated under oath that Trump said: “I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go, to letting Flynn go.”

Back to Waas:

I have learned that a confidential White House memorandum, which is in the special counsel’s possession, explicitly states that when Trump pressured Comey he had just been told by two of his top aides—his then chief of staff Reince Priebus and his White House counsel Don McGahn—that Flynn was under criminal investigation.

In arguing in their January 29 letter that Trump did not obstruct justice, the president’s attorneys Dowd and Sekulow quoted selectively from this same memo, relying only on a few small portions of it. They also asserted that even if Trump knew there had been an FBI investigation of Flynn, Trump believed that Flynn had been cleared. Full review of the memo flatly contradicts this story.

There’s far more detail in the article. Waas explains the memo’s acknowledgment that Trump knew Flynn was still in the investigative crosshairs of the FBI, and thus that his ‘request’ to Comey likely represented obstruction of justice. This is backed up by Reince Preibus’s own notes, which he wrote just after he talked to Trump about it, as well as by what McGahn told his subordinates. Waas has seen all this material with his own eyes. He also states that other sources of his have told him that both Preibus and McGahn “confirmed in separate interviews” with Mueller’s team that they informed Mr. Popular V**e Loser that Flynn was being investigated by the FBI prior to the February 14, 2017 conversation with Comey.

Holy. Fucking. ***t.

Adam Bonica, a political scientist from Stanford University, writing for the New York Times, makes a convincing case that despite the seemingly constant, triumphant, and in-your face drumbeat of h**e we’ve witnessed oozing from Trump supporters since 2016, that same fetid cesspool of r****m and misogyny that so-called “mainstream” Republicans have eagerly lined up to immerse themselves in will likely end up drowning their party sooner than any of them realize.

The reason is simple demographics:

Once again, the nation is on the cusp of a generational revolution. As a group, millennials favor Democrats by nearly a 2 to 1 margin. Millennials are unlikely to trend Republican as they age so long as the current hyper-polarized political environment persists. However, they will become more likely to v**e. (A general rule of thumb is that turnout increases by about one percentage point with each year of age.) This makes it possible to in essence fast-forward the e*****rate to forecast how the generational advantage will change over the next decade.

Right now the Republican Party has wholly committed itself to parroting Trump’s established brand of virulent r****m and his loud, sneering dismissal of just about all of the qualities Americans used to call “general human decency.” Their reasons for doing this all boil down to sheer expediency—Trump’s victory in 2016 has d**gged them there. Because their base of support is fundamentally made of up selfish and ignorant human beings, they now visibly and publicly compete amongst themselves seeking the worst common denominator in terms of selfish and ignorant human behavior. This devolution has become the GOP’s sole selling point in an astonishingly short period of time, and at this point there seems to be no level of evil, bigotry, or cruelty too low, or too extreme, that they’re willing to embrace.

Yes, indeed, the millenials have been taught to be good little comrades. This prolonged tantrum that we have been witnessing by the Democraps since the e******n has been unbelievable to watch. As an Independent, I have made the decision to NEVER v**e democrat again. They stand for everything that is wrong with America.

They cry over controlling immigration and their feigned outrage over "the poor children." Give me a break -- how about the 60 million innocent babies who have been aborted. What about those unborn children? Who's selfish?

Let's v**e out the worst of the worst and replace them with patriotic Republicans. This country would improve overnight:

Schumer
Pelosi
Maxine Waters
Perez
Markey
Udall
Wasserman-Schultz
Durbin
Green

This would be a good start. Instead of "resistance", why not try working with this president and represent the people who v**ed for a commonsense America: immigrants who bring sk**ls to America and are willing to acclimate to our society; building a wall so we can keep gangs, terrorists, drugs out of our country; lower taxes so that working Americans can choose to spend their hard earned money the way they choose; fewer onerous regulations so that companies are less burdened and taxed and can grow and hire more people; the virtual weakening and near elimination of ISIS.

This political writer talks about "selfish." Obama put immigrant children in dog cages, not a word from the hypocritical partisans. I guarantee you if immigrants v**ed Republican, the Democraps would be screaming bloody murder. I can't stand the hypocrisy anymore.

The democrats have overplayed their hand and have lost this v**er forever!

President Donald Trump's lament this week that immigration is "changing the culture" of Europe echoed rising anti-immigrant feelings on both sides of the Atlantic, where Europe and the United States are going through a demographic t***sformation that makes some of the white majority uncomfortable.

Historians and advocates immediately denounced Trump's comments, saying such talk would encourage white nationalists.

"The way he put this argument about changing our culture ... about Europe becoming less nice than it is, in other words, these people are here and they are making the culture crappy and making the place lesser, that's straight out of the w***e s*********t/white nationalist playbook," said Heidi Beirich, director of the Southern Poverty Law Center's Intelligence Project.

Trump, in an interview with the British newspaper The Sun, blamed immigration for a changing culture in Europe: "I think allowing millions and millions of people to come into Europe is very, very sad. I think you are losing your culture. Look around. You go through certain areas that didn't exist ten or 15 years ago."

Trump, the grandson of a German immigrant and the son of a Scottish immigrant to the United States, repeated his contention at a news conference with British Prime Minister Theresa May:

"I just think it's changing the culture. I think it's a very negative thing for Europe. I think it's very negative," he said. "I think it's very much hurt other parts of Europe. And I know it's politically not necessarily correct to say that, but I'll say it and I'll say it loud. And I think they better watch themselves because you are changing culture, you are changing a lot of things."

Beirich called those comments "r****t."

Claire M. Massey, a scholar at the Institute for British and North American Studies at Ernst-Moritz-Arndt Universität in Greifswald, Germany, said Trump's comments were "awfully painful," especially for the United Kingdom, where immigration has played a key role in rebuilding the country after World War II. "England and the United Kingdom wouldn't be what it is today without immigrants," she said.

Massey said Trump's comments remind her of the rhetoric coming from neo-N**is in Germany and Poland. The comments will embolden the far-right in Europe at a time when many European nations are already very diverse.

Lisbon, Portugal, for example, is now home to sizable and visible Brazilian, Cape Verdean, and Angolan populations. The immigrant groups and their Portuguese-born children have helped revitalize areas of the cities once in disrepair and have a presence in everything from professional soccer teams to popular culture.

Portuguese Mozambique-born fado singer Mariza is among the nation's most beloved performers.

In France, immigrants from the Middle East and Africa have settled throughout Paris and have drawn the ire of the far-right and even some moderates over the city's changing makeup. Then-French Prime Minister François Fillon decreed in 2011 that women were banned from wearing face veils outside of the home except in mosques or as car passengers. A European court later upheld the ban, saying the intent was to unify the country, but not before an outcry by human rights activists.

Throughout England, from London to Liverpool, immigrants from Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the former British colonies in the Caribbean have reshaped various neighborhoods, drawing scorn from members of the far-right and some rural residents who blamed the European Union and immigrants for the economic struggles of once-prosperous mining regions.

The United States is also going through a demographic shift. The Census Bureau estimates that the country's population will have more minorities than w****s for the first time in 2043, a change due in part to higher birth rates among Hispanics and a stagnating or declining birth rate among b****s, w****s and Asians.

Trump's public life has been filled with controversial statements about immigrants.

In the first moments of his p**********l campaign in June 2015, he called for the construction of a border wall with Mexico and accused the country of sending migrants who were "bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."

He continually used dark imagery to depict immigrants as dangerous invaders. Then, in the aftermath of a terrorist attack that December in San Bernardino, California, that was carried out by a U.S.-born Muslim and his Pakistani wife, who was a legal U.S. resident, Trump called for barring all Muslims from entering the country. The Supreme Court eventually upheld his executive order banning travel from several mostly Muslim countries, rejecting challenges that it discriminated against Muslims or exceeded his authority.

In January, Trump questioned why the U.S. would accept more immigrants from Haiti and "s**thole countries" in Africa as he rejected a bipartisan immigration deal, according to one participant and people briefed on the conversation.

In recent weeks, Trump bowed to tremendous political pressure and issued an executive order ending his administration's practice of separating migrant children from their parents when families cross the border with Mexico illegally.

Paul A. Kramer, a Vanderbilt University historian who specializes in the politics of ine******y in the United States, said Trump's most recent comments were an intentional attempt to ally himself and his base in the United States with the far-right nationalist movements in Europe.

"The rising tide of white nationalism is something that he embraces, that he sees himself as participating in and that he wants to encourage," Kramer said.

It seems to me that it does not hurt to know who is entering our country. What does that immigrant bring that is going to contribute to our society? Tell me, what is wrong with that? You g*******ts would simply give our country and way of life away.

Why don't you ask how the citizenry in Minnesota and Maine appreciate the Somalian invasion.
