Tainted Trust

Believe its not so much that most here on OPPS don't want to be optimistic about the latest Supreme Court nominee, Judge Kavanaugh - nor have confidence that he will interpret the Constitution as it is intended.
However, considering the political activism of some SC conservative judges - trust may be a little tainted. Therefore, cautious optimism may be warranted.

It would concern me more about the socialist connections of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who at 85 is probably not long before retirement.

You may not want a judge who interprets the Constitution according to what the founders wrote and meant, not the New Deal distortions of the socialists. However, that is just the kind that NEEDS to be on the court.

Unfortunately, anyone who has made a career out of partisan and ideological agendas, cannot be trusted to avoid re-interpreting the Constitution according to the same.

It is pointless to have hearings or trials..................when the conclusions have been decided beforehand. Why else are so many people convinced that a new conservative court - would overturn previous decisions? The answer is.................that's exactly what they expect from partisan operatives.

I read that Abraham Lincoln regretted appointing Ginsburg to the Supreme Court.

I'm concerned about that and the connections between her brain cells too.

They expect it because that's what they would...and they'd crow about it.
