Why are sanctuary cities allowed ?They probably won't be if the people who elected Trump keep the reins.
In the meantime i think it may have something to do with the belief in life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness mentioned in an early document of this unusual country.

Yes but we are a nation of laws and illegal in the title indicates that you have already broken the law and there are consequences..........

She will do none of those thing but unlike Trump she won't borrow a trillion dollars a year to pay for tax cuts to the rich!

No she will borrow 2 trillion a year to fund Medicare for all and make everybody’s taxes go up.

Of course not. But where's the evidence?

I think you've gotten hoodwinked into believing a conspiracy theory.

I guess the Vice Presidents own admission of doing it makes it a conspiracy theory?

Why is it rightists think that 100% of the senate GOP should be on exactly the same page, and any who take a different positions for reasons are labeled as t*****rs?

When I see a dem who v**es against party lines I see someone who was put in office by a conservative leaning state, they have to represent the people who put them in office. It is ridiculous to believe that there aren't GOP senators who have reasons for not v****g party lines. The right is being d**gged down by a teaparty minority that is calling the hard right positions. Moderates and progressives are going to see things differently, but get beat up for not v****g party lines.

Now wait a second, you are contradicting you last post, you said that the elected official is supposed to use their judgement to do what they think is right but now you are saying they are supposed to v**e per their constituents.... which is it?????

Oh wait, I know, it’s wh**ever suits you and wh**ever gets rid of trump!!!!!

So f**e!!!!!!!

It's a bad idea not to have t***sparency, but in this case the GOP is putting the creepiest possible partisan pressure on an issue that is about integrity and upholding their oath of office as well as the president's accountability. Unfortunately the only way these people can v**e their conscience is to do it in secrecy. When the speaker calls for a blind allegiance that shuts an impeachment down, partisanship is completely out of control.

I'm wondering if Roberts could make this call or not if he feels it is warranted. GOP insiders are saying they think a secret b****t would get at least 20 republicans supporting it.

If k**led your own argument, if they can’t v**e in public they have no integrity and don’t need to be in congress...... it really is that simple.

As evidenced by those standing up for trump while pretending to be devout Christians.

Oh please quit!!!!!! You obviously haven’t asked yourself why a Christian would v**e for trump. If a Christian has to v**e for someone who is morally right then no Christian would v**e ever because there is not a moral politician in national politics, it’s that simple. There are several reasons that a Christian would v**e for trump but I would be willing to bet that there are very few of them if any that would say that it is because they look at trump as a moral person or as their moral mentor. Come on, quit this diatribe of h**e for Christians. Either the dems have to put up a candidate that is pro life, pro second amendment, pro balanced budget and knows there are only two g****rs or they can shut the heck up!!!!!! Yes I know trump has not made a balanced budget but the other three he has done his best to make good on.

Yes, really. I view secret b****ts as the best way to get legislators' true sense of right or wrong on any matter. Conscience, not fear(s) of repercussion should dictate how one casts their v**e...not concerns over re-e******n.

You know that’s funny you say concerns for re-e******n..... term limits would fix that problem. They aren’t in office to get re-elected, they are in office to speak for their constituents. That’s repub and dem. They all suck anyway.

If they can’t v**e publicly then they need to either quit or grow a set of balls!!!!

Because they are afraid they will expose themselves for what they really are and won’t get re-elected.

When Trump is eventually very likely to be tried by the Senate. Senators will hear any evidence against him and that produced by his defense team both can call witnesses and John Roberts will adjudicate the case. There is now talk amongst republicans of holding the v**e on wether to convict by secret b****t so they can make their decision based on evidence rather than be subject to political pressure. Do you think this is a good idea?

If they don’t have big enough balls to v**e their convictions in public than maybe they shouldn’t be in the position they’re in.

Here is the logic behind it. If you get them indoctrinated young, children are very influenceable and those influences hold fast. Then you throw on hormone therapy to mess up puberty and then, for a boy wanting to be a girl, anyway, you stunt their growth and now when they are adults, they can’t be anything but a girl. All that said, my opinion is this...... same sex couples can’t have children to raise to believe what they do so they are stealing yours and mine!!!!!!

I just looked at the #’s and I just don’t get it, why do we as a nation borrow a trillion dollars a year? And it’s not just like it’s trump, it’s every year for the last 15!!!!! That’s crazy!!!!!!
