OUR WORLD TODAY

It snowed all night, so the morning goes like this:

8:00 I made a snowman.

8:10 A feminist passed by and asked me why I didn't make a snow
woman.

8:15 So, I made a snow woman.

8:17 The nanny of the neighbors complained about the snow woman's
voluptuous chest.

8:20 The gay couple living nearby grumbled that it could have been
two snowmen instead.

8:25 The vegans at No. 12 complained about the carrot nose, as
veggies are food and not to decorate snow figures with.

8:28 I am being called a r****t because the snow couple is white.

8:31 The Muslim gent across the road wants the snow woman to wear a
headscarf.

8:40 Someone calls the cops who show up to see what's going on.

8:42 I am told that the broomstick of the snowman needs to be
removed because it could be used as a deadly weapon. Things get worse
after I mutter : "Yeah, if it's up your a**!!"

8:45 Local TV news crew shows up. I am asked if I know the
difference between snowmen and snow-women? I reply, "Snowballs" and
am called a sexist.

8:52 My phone is seized and thoroughly checked while I am being
blindfolded and flown to the police station in a helicopter.

9:00 I'm on the news as a suspected terrorist bent on stirring up
trouble during this difficult weather.

9:10 I am asked if I have any accomplices.

9:29 A little known jihadist group has claimed it was their plot.

Moral: There is no moral to this story. It's just the America we
live in today!

I have to thank a friend for this one, it just made me chuckle.

In all my years of having been in the Corps and what have you, I have never been so concerned about THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA as I am now! I have to believe that all of this crap has been going on before I was even born! How in the world did all of this S******n and Treason ever come about? As far as Im concerned, this is not a right or left issue, though I do fear that its been mostly on the Democratic side with some Republican assistance over the many years. The Democrats have always been the party of r****t division as far as I know. Did all of this happen at the very beginning of our nation state? Perhaps Im either not as well informed as I thought I was or perhaps a mixture of that as well as some ignorance on my part. Please dont tell me this all started at the MayFlower landing as the Colonists were running away from tryanny under the king of England. So when did all of this start? Please, I would like to have a serious discussion about all of this. Please.

I think it started with Bill Clinton, "Slick Willy", escaped impeachment because his wife stood by his side. Yes, Republicans assisted the Democratic Presidents for years. The military has always followed the orders of the commander and chief, right or wrong. I can't agree more about THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, where Republicans are acting like Democrats. All I'm asking the Liberty and Justice prevail above anything else, right now!!!!!.

Sadly, the state of California is facing such a wide array of social, economic, and political problems that it is hard to even document them all. It is really one huge gigantic mess at this point.

Just consider the following facts about what life is like in the state of California today….

#1 Unemployment in the state of California was 12.4% in September – one of the highest rates in the nation.

#2 The number of people unemployed in the state of California is approximately equivalent to the populations of Nevada, New Hampshire and Vermont combined.

#3 Not even state government jobs are safe in California these days. Last month, government agencies in California slashed a total of 37,300 jobs.

#4 California has the third highest state income tax in the nation: a 9.55% tax bracket at $47,055 and a 10.55% bracket at $1,000,000.

#5 California has the highest state sales tax rate in the nation by far at 8.25%. Indiana has the next highest at 7%.

#6 Residents of California pay the highest gasoline taxes (over 67 cents per gallon) in the United States.

#7 Even with all of the taxes, the budget deficit for the California state government for the current year is approximately 19 billion dollars.

#8 According to an article in the Wall Street Journal, California’s unfunded pension liability is estimated to be somewhere between $120 billion and $500 billion.

#9 20 percent of the residents of Los Angeles County are now receiving public aid.

#10 Budget cuts are making life very difficult in many California cities. For example, Oakland, California Police Chief Anthony Batts says that due to severe budget cuts there are a number of crimes that his department will simply not be able to respond to any longer. The crimes that the Oakland police will no longer be responding to include grand theft, burglary, car wrecks, identity theft and vandalism.

Things have gotten so bad in Stockton, California that the police union put up a billboard with the following message: “Welcome to the 2nd most dangerous city in California. Stop laying off cops.”

#11 According to one survey, approximately 1 in 4 Californians under the age of 65 had absolutely no health insurance last year.

#12 California’s poverty rate soared to 15.3 percent in 2009, which was the highest in 11 years.

#13 California’s overstretched health care system is also on the verge of collapse. Dozens of California hospitals and emergency rooms have shut down over the last decade because they could not afford to stay open after being endlessly swamped by i*****l i*******ts and poor Californians who were simply not able to pay for the services they were receiving. As a result, the remainder of the health care system in the state of California is now beyond overloaded. This had led to brutally long waits, diverted ambulances and even unnecessary patient deaths.

#14 California home builders began construction on 1,811 homes during the month of August, which was down 77% from August 2006.

#15 Earlier this year, it was reported that in the area around Sacramento, California there was one closed business for every six that were still open.

#16 The “lawsuit climate” in California is ranked number 46 out of all 50 states.

#17 Residents of California pay some of the highest electricity prices in the entire nation.

#18 Over 20 percent of California homeowners are now underwater on their mortgages.

#19 Large tent cities have been springing up all over the state of California. Just check out the following shocking video news report….

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRLupIRhrmg

So why doesn’t the state government of California just fix many of these problems? Well, the t***h is that it simply cannot. The state government is flat broke. Earlier this year, Bob Herbert of the New York Times described California’s massive budget problems this way….

California has cut billions of dollars from its education system, including its renowned network of public colleges and universities. Many thousands of teachers have been let go. Budget officials travel the state with a glazed look in their eyes, having tried everything they can think of to balance the state budget. And still the deficits persist.

Now why would they want to do anything to make things better. They want to become a total welfare state. They should tax the s**t out of their millionares and get thing in order, but no, the government is silently getting paid off by Peloisi and the other Democrats in office. The people have been dumb down enough to turn a blind eye to it. They could also get rid of the i******s (make them citizens) and get those who receive Medicaid trained for a job, that might reduce the deficit. (oh, what most are i******s). Daughter lived there for 12 years, the story she could tell.

Perhaps this will put your mind at ease regarding Obama's SSN. I'm not sure of the year, but when I was young, a SSN was acquired when someone looked for their first job and not at birth. I applied for mine at the age of 16. Although I'm not sure, I believe the SSN depended upon where one worked their first job and not their state of birth.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Here's the History, http://www.ssa.gov/policy/docs/ssb/v69n2/v69n2p55.html. Now question Obama's birth cert. again. Quit repeating yourself, being a military Brat, I got mine issued to me when I was under twelve, I lived in Texas, born in VA. When my card came, it was out of VA, not Texas.
I'd rather deal with real people than with labels. I asked the question because I remember reading a news story during the debate over the recent tax reform bill that said the Koch brothers were pressuring Congress to pass the tax reforms they wanted. Has Congress sold out to financial interests? Who do they really work for? It doesn't seem to be us.
Have to ask that same question about the Dems! If you can provide proof of that News story, then show it. Lots of people have their fingers in the pie, but not one person - left or right have pulled out the plum. Show the link to your proof.
Just what makes you think that Trump will reverse the path this Nation has been on for the past 40 years.
He is in over his head & the swamp will just continue to stay on the path to save & strengthen the Wealthy.
Control of this Nation is in the hands of the so called swamp & there is not much hope to change the course we are on.
I guess I'll be bad for a little bit longer..............The swamp will be drained by the v**ers whom are tired of the "BULLS**T" occurring in our nations capital. Soros Has been funding the h**e and discontent spread by the Liberals. Trump is doing everything he promised, I don't see were he is in over his head. The Liberals Democrats will start throwing bricks from the old wall at him, because they have run out of money. Once the Swamp dries out, just maybe we can come together as Americans and work at making the US stronger than before. (Sure, we will never see eye to eye on everything, but as true Americans we can come together civilly and discuss our difference.) unlike what is happening now.
Yeah, as we the people, watch as he apologizes to our enemies and make enemies of our friend. Him leading from behind meant let all things resembling freedom in this country for all, be destroyed by his protesters. Now, Did I get that right? He wanted to destroy America as we know it, Trump is trying to correct what Obama allowed in his 8 years in office.
