When a Homosexual Episcopalian Calls Trump’s Christianity ‘Hypocritical’

If ever there was a glaring instance of the pot calling the kettle black it was when South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg, a professing Christian and practicing homosexual, called President Trump a hypocritical Christian. Seriously?

To be clear, I have no problem with someone questioning whether President Trump is a true Christian. An evangelical friend of mine who has met with Trump on several occasions recently told me that he does not believe the president has had a true conversion experience but that he does truly fear God. Other friends have told me they believe that Trump loves Jesus but is a mere babe when it comes to the Christian faith.

Ultimately, only God knows the state of Donald Trump’s soul.

But I fully understand why people question his Christian faith, based on his past life (before becoming president) and his current behavior (as president).

One thing, though, is sure: Donald Trump does not claim to be a model Christian, nor should we look to him for an example of how to live out our faith.

What is utterly absurd, though, is for a man who professes to be a serious Christian, yet is pro-a******n and “married” to his same-sex partner, to call out Trump’s alleged hypocrisy.

According to USA Today, which wholeheartedly supported Buttigieg’s position without a hint of awareness of the irony of it all, “Mayor Pete” stands out “as a dev**ed Christian.”

According to Buttigieg:

“The left is rightly committed to a separation of church and state … but we need to not be afraid to invoke arguments that are convincing on why Christian faith is going to point you in a progressive direction.”
In contrast, he criticized right-wing Christians for:

“saying so much about what Christ said so little about, and so little about what he said so much about.”

As for Trump, he said:

“I’m reluctant to comment on another person’s faith, but I would say it is hard to look at this president’s actions and believe that they’re the actions of somebody who believes in God. I just don’t understand how you can be as worshipful of your own self as he is and be prepared to humble yourself before God. I’ve never seen him humble himself before anyone. And the exaltation of yourself, especially a self that’s about wealth and power, could not be more at odds with at least my understanding of the teachings of the Christian faith.”
Is Buttigieg guilty of judging President Trump in a way that violates the Lord’s mandate to not judge? (See Matthew 7:1-5; for an explanation of what Jesus actually meant, see here.) That is certainly possible, since he is judging largely by second-hand information and outward appearance.

More importantly, though, Buttigieg is certainly guilty of the very hypocrisy which Jesus clearly rebukes in Matthew 7, saying:

“Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye” (Matt 7:3-5).

First, Buttigieg says that one of his favorite verses in the Bible is where Jesus says:

“Wh**ever you did for one of the least of these … you did for me” (see Matthew 25:31-46).
Yet Buttigieg claims that when it comes to a******n:

“Jesus never mentioned the issue.”

So, for Buttigieg, whose platform is thoroughly to the left, innocent, helpless, babies in the womb are not included in the “least of these,” yet i*****l i*******ts are.

In fact, not only is he “openly pro-choice,” but when it comes to late-term a******n, he will make no official comment, saying only this:

“when a woman is in that situation … extremely difficult, painful, often medically serious situations where life or health of the mother is at stake, involvement of a male government official like me is not helpful.”
So much for caring for “the least of these.”

Yet when Trump and Pence take strong pro-life stands, Buttigieg deems this hypocritical. (He also criticizes Pence as a “cheerleader of the porn-star presidency.” Not too judgmental, eh?)

Second, as an out-and-proud gay man, Buttigieg must discard the entire testimony of Scripture, since every single reference to homosexual practice in the Bible is condemnatory, without a single positive, homosex-affirming statement of any kind. (Let me be quick to add, however, that grace, mercy, and forgiveness are offered to all alike through the cross.)

It would be one thing if Buttigieg said:

“I struggle with same-sex attractions, but as a committed Christian, I do not affirm these desires, act on them, or celebrate them.”
That would be highly commendable.

Instead, he wants everyone to see that “our marriages are just as good as theirs,” even if that means rewriting the Bible and throwing out almost 2,000 years of virtually unanimous teaching on the subject through all branches of Christianity. After all, love wins, and love is love, right?

As for the possibility of a true follower of Jesus practicing homosexuality, Paul addresses this head-on:

“Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” (1 Corinthians 6:9–11, ESV)
So says the Word of God.

Again, my issue is not with questioning





President Trump’s Christianity. Let God be the judge, and let each of us examine our own lives.

My issue is with a pro-a******n, practicing homosexual who claims to be Christian calling out Trump’s alleged “hypocrisy.”

That, indeed, is the height of hypocrisy, and there is nothing Christian about it.

Rep. Ilhan Omar says living in Trump’s America ‘is an everyday assault'

Rep. Ilhan Omar, a Somali-refugee-turned-Democratic congresswoman from Minnesota, said in a published interview Friday that living in the U.S. under President Trump's administration is "an everyday assault."

Omar, 37, is best-known for the enmity she's stirred up over allegations American lawmakers supportive of Israel have been bought off. In a Vogue Arabia interview, Omar lamented her difficulties with living in America during the Trump era.

“It’s an everyday assault. Every day, a part of your identity is threatened, demonized, and vilified. Trump is tapping into an ugly part of our society and freeing its ugliness. It’s been a challenge to try to figure out how to continue the inclusion; how to show up every day and make sure that people who identify with all the marginalized identities I carry, feel represented," Omar said.

"It’s t***sitioning from the idea of constantly resisting to insisting in upholding the values we share — that this is a society that was built on the idea that you could start anew. And what that celebrates is immigrant heritage," she said.

Omar and her family immigrated to the U.S. in 1995 from Somalia as refugees, settling in Arlington, Va.

Earlier last year, in the neighborhood of Lake Calhoun which is a predominantly upscale area in Minneapolis, a mob of 30 Somali Muslim men congregated in a large group and proceeded to go through this neighborhood and threatened to rape women and k**l non-believers of Islam and anyone else they felt like inflicting violence on.

One woman, who was threatened with rape and murder was so scared when she was interviewed by the local news that her voice and appearance had to be disguised. She told the KSTP news reporter, “We couldn’t get him out. We didn’t know what to do. They were screaming at the house that they were going to kidnap me, and we’re going to rape you. It was just a very traumatizing experience.” While these threats were being made, there were other Somali terrorists driving their cars onto sidewalks and shooting fireworks at people. Yet the l*****ts want Americans to accept this as cultural diversity.

The Mayor of Minneapolis has done nothing to protect citizens from this violence and has only encouraged this Muslim terrorist hoard. Mayor Hodges, in an effort to appease the Somali terrorists set up an anti-blasphemy hotline where Muslim citizens could call in and report on other citizens who they, felt were harassing them. In actuality, the hotline was set up to target Trump supporters because Mayor Hodges is more interested in her political agenda than ensuring all citizens of Minneapolis are safe.

This incident of a Muslim hoard ripping through the Lake Calhoun neighborhood and threatening rape and murder is not a single occurrence. Residents of Lake Calhoun have made multiple reports to the Minneapolis Police Department about these terrorists and their dangerous behavior. These instances of violence are h**e crimes and the MPD should be investigating them as such. Not surprisingly, the mainstream media didn’t bring significant attention to this issue because it doesn’t fit their “friendly immigrant” mantra. However, these terrorists threatening rape and murder serve to demonstrate that President Trump is correct in stopping anymore of these terrorists gaining entry into the United States.

Mayor Betsy Hodges has even stated, when questioned about her N**i-like anti-Trump hotline, “I will not compromise the public safety of the people of Minneapolis to satisfy Trump’s desire to put politics before public safety. Minneapolis is being built and strengthened by people from all over the world and I am grateful for their commitment to our city. I stand with them today and will continue to take that stand as the President-elect prepares to take office.” If Mayor Hodges is so interested in public safety, then perhaps she should direct the MPD to investigate these incidents of violence as h**e crimes.

The City of Minneapolis also serves as a breeding ground for recruiting ISIS and Al-Shabab fighters. Ami Horowitz from Fox News interviewed several Muslim men in Minneapolis, most of whom openly advocate for Sharia law over American law, and feel it should be against the law to insult the prophet, Mohammed. One of the few women to be interviewed by Ami Horowitz even stated it’s okay to force a 15-year-old girl into a forced marriage. This is all happening right here in the USA. Well, the men in that community, if they all haven't tranzed into "women" yet, need to take up arms and mete out their own brand of terrorism. What happened to patrolling their own streets and taking care of these Muslim scum themselves? Why are they not protecting their women and families?


Mohammed. The interesting part of this segment is when Ami Horowitz asks these Sharia- loving Muslims where they would rather live, their response is, “I’d rather live in Somalia.” Yet, here they are in the United States getting all of the government benefits they can and enjoying a much more comfortable life. Perhaps if they h**e the USA so much, they should really go back to Somalia.

Computers, robots, and artificial intelligence are displacing humans at a growing pace. People will always design business systems but there will be few jobs making or delivering. Caregivers of the young, old, and sick will be assisted by computers and robots. Construction will be automated and installed by robots directed by humans. Eventually, industry will need much less than half of our working-age population. When the majority is jobless, on what will it live?

Two answers are Universal Basic Income and Job Guarantee. The UBI is a debit card refilled monthly to supply necessities. The JG is a locally-managed employment agency that hires the jobless, even the partially disabled, and, after any necessary training, assigns them to local tasks requested by any government or qualified NPO. For both proposals, the usual fringe benefits comparable to industry would be provided. (Free healthcare for all would simplify the hiring process for industry as well.) Both programs would be financed by Congress, eliminating SNAP, unemployment benefits, and all similar spending.

The UBI would serve the fully disabled; the JG would pay workers some minimum wage. Thus, industry will lose its current reserve army of unemployed and gain a reserve army of employed possessing the dignity of work. Employers will attract JG workers with pay a step higher than the minimum wage and will raise current wages enough to maintain their staff but that’s normal for a booming economy. Price levels will rise with the minimum wage so the UBI and the JG wage may turn out to be skimpy. Most minimum wage workers look for better jobs.

The unemployed are already here and more are coming. Work awaits them, and federal money is always available. Yes, unions will complain when governments have JG workers filling potholes and NPOs are doing healthcare. Other problems not obvious now will arise but they will NOT include potholes or unemployment or extreme poverty. We will make adjustments, survive, and maybe thrive.

The majority will be jobless but will be educated and able to v**e. As will their parents, relatives, and friends. UBI and JG are coming! Get used to the idea.

That’s why Nancy Pelosi was looking at all that paper during Trump’s speech, because she realized she got sandbagged by the master.
