So your response to someone disagreeing with you is to make a slur. That shows how prejudiced you are, not me.

The part that should scare you is Harry Reid is now a multimillionaire on a salary $173,000/year when he started middle class. He has made about $2 million in total salary but is worth three times that. While the average American has lost net worth, his has grown.

I guess Rolling Stone is admitting that Obama's goals have been to destroy the American way of life and in that he has been enormously successful.

Earlier this week, Nobel Prize winner, and harsh critic of President Obama, Paul Krugman, made a turnaround and praised the president in his Rolling Stone article. Also a Princeton Professor of Economics, Krugman writes:

"Obama has emerged as one of the most consequential and, yes, successful presidents in American history."

The author of 20 books and writer for the New York Times, Krugman goes on to list several key achievements Obama has made during, what Krugman calls, a 'wave of Obama-bashing' by 'mainstream pundits and talking heads.'

"His health reform is imperfect but still a huge step forward – and it’s working better than anyone expected. Financial reform fell far short of what should have happened, but it’s much more effective than you’d think. Economic management has been half-crippled by Republican obstruction, but has nonetheless been much better than in other advanced countries. And environmental policy is starting to look like it could be a major legacy."

On a very positive note, Krugman believes Democrats are doing better than expected in the Red states, which signifies a president who has done well:

"Obviously the midterm e******n hasn’t happened yet, but in a year when Republicans have a huge structural advantage – Democrats are defending a disproportionate number of Senate seats in deep-red states – most analyses suggest that control of the Senate is in doubt, with Democrats doing considerably better than they were supposed to. This isn’t what you’d expect to see if a failing president were d**gging his party down.

More important, however, polls – or even e******ns – are not the measure of a president. High office shouldn’t be about putting points on the e*******l scoreboard, it should be about changing the country for the better. Has Obama done that? Do his achievements look likely to endure? The answer to both questions is yes."

This is good to hear. We still have a very tough and extremely close e******n ahead. By continuing to join together to fight the GOP/Tea Party extremists (visit this Act Blue site) we can save this country from further damage by a party of obstruction and greed, that plays up to the richest individuals and corporate powerhouses. Republicans have stepped on, then spat on, America's working class, veterans, women, children, the poor, c*****e c****e… and blocked equal pay, veterans benefits, raising the minimum wage, and helping college students with their hefty debts … The list goes on, showing Republicans have been on the wrong side of history for too long, and w can, and will, change this November 4th.

Please Note: The original title, "Most Successful President In History" has been changed to One of the Most Successful Presidents In History." There is a very big difference in syntax and meaning. My apologies, and thank you to Kossack Empty Vessel for pointing out my error.

Not sure what bigotry you are referring to. You mean Obama only mentioning Black Victims and ignoring w****s?

No, the bigotry is when he quotes r****t comments made by Progressives and Liberals and Democrats. I even heard one commentator says that "Rush loves it when a Democrat makes a mistake because then he can say what he really feels and blame it on us." I think it was Al Sharpton but I am not really sure.

And that is why he is not defending himself in a bunch of lawsuits, because the stories of his h**e are greatly exaggerated. Rush puts all his shows on his webpage and yet when liberals want to criticize him, they either cannot find a record of that speech they claim he made or when it is found it is preceded by him saying "this liberal just said" I remember two quotes used to show his r****m where originally done by Harry Reid and Joe Biden and all Rush was doing was telling people what they said.

Fact is the problem people have with Rush is that he is uneducated and liberals and progressives still cannot refute him. He proves it does not take a college degree to see how ridiculous these people are.

When a company chooses to advertise with the republicans Joseph Goebbels many Americans choose to do business with others, so many in fact that it has had a profound impact on the number of companies willing to buy ad time on such a controversial broadcast. As far as Limbaughs efforts to intimidate those working the h**e boycott he will soon find he and his Idiocy in Broadcasting Network having their pants sued off for harassment and stalking. It is only fitting that he spend some of his narcotic and alimony funds on the legal defense of his unconscionable behavior.

This is a perfect example of the tunnel vision of the conservative right. They don't see the difference of the two.
Hitler was the dictator working under a f*****t government, H.Clinton, is a clearly a capitalist, working under a democratic/republic government. Both uses social programs as a tool in their government for the care of their people.

Actually you are guilty of tunnel vision for blocking out that you do not want to see.

Wow - I never really expected the males on OPP to be so sensitive to this topic and look for so many squirrely ways to skirt (pun intended) the issue of equal pay. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I think everyone advocating for equal pay is operating under the assumption of "for equal work."

I wish it was, but I have heard several complain about different jobs but with the same degree requirements (level only, ignoring what the degree is in). If you got an MBA you should make the same as a teacher with a Masters degree (the example given). So Bill Gates should make the same salary as a grill cook (my response since Bill never got a degree past his HS diploma).

Believe it or not, I backed the idea of equal pay until I started hearing that crap.

Somehow, money in the pockets of Republican billionaires is "Bad" money while that same money can be made into "Good" money if it is given away to Democratic causes. I'm not sure if the money in the pockets of Democratic billionaires is "Good" or "Bad" money but our President seems to have been elected to mine as much of it as he's able to in support of more Democratic causes.

Oh, Harry Reid has been caught in making this same hypocritical argument, rich people that give to conservatives are corrupting the political process, but money from rich people given to him is promoting the middle class, even as he gets richer in the process.

I have the feeling that there are a lot of people on OPP who do not exactly "connect" with Sarah Silverman's comedy. But her video on equal pay for women is (to me) hilarious even if it is true to her vulgar form. A great in-your-face way to highlight the ine******y women suffer every day. Beware jot is not for heh under age.

Enjoy!

http://www.equalpaybackproject.com

When job per job was compared and jobs without incentives and commissions and similar stuff were compared, women came out ahead. The problem is that among sales people, women don't do as well so they suffer in commission jobs. Also other jobs where you are paid by performance like sports, actors and singers, women don't bring in the same numbers. Sarah Silverman herself cannot compete with over a dozen male comedians in just making people laugh and thus make the money they do. This disparity continues to being CEO of companies. Few companies have faired as well under female CEOs as they did under men.

Then women pick careers and companies more in line with their personal goals while men pick their career paths with how much money they will make more a factor. Thus they do pick profit making enterprises more often and women pick charities more often that do not pay as well. Women also tend to use most if not all of their paid leave while men are very likely to let leave expire. So the men put in more hours and get better promotions and raises in addition to overtime pay.

But when they compared hours worked for the same companies in the same positions, women made 6% more per hour worked, mostly in the salaried positions, but also in getting their leave that the men let expire.

So go on comparing apples and oranges if it makes you happy but don't expect anyone to fall for it.

Remember what happened to Lilly Ledbetter. She got them to pass a law to allow her to sue and so she did and it became public knowledge that she did not get paid as much as her male counterparts because she was not a very good employee. If she had just sued when she first found out, no one would know what a lay about she really was.

All things die. Your question misunderstand the purpose of this life and the purpose of death. Without a healthy understanding of both, the answer would be meaningless and there is not enough room to instruct in that.

Why does God think he's so important that we should submit to his will and worship him?

Because he created the universe and all that is in it and he sustains it. So the fact that we only live because of him kind of makes him important to us.

He thinks we should submit to his will because since he made us, he knows what will makes us happy and what will make us miserable and his will is for us to be happy, so he feels if we do what he knows will make us happy, it will be better for us then doing what will ultimately make us miserable even if it does bring temporary happiness.

You called a person ignorant and told him to mind his own business on a public forum. That is rude. And it does nothing to advance the kingdom. It was also not a question that you made. Those were statements.
