I'm well prepared for most anything, except maybe a meteor strike. The problem I have with the possibility of martial law is where are the Feds going to get the necessary resources to enforce it? Any attempt to take over our infrastructure, our power sources, food supplies, and so on is going to create such chaos in the cities that the police, govt agents, and any other forces involved will be so overwhelmed trying to deal with the mobs, the violence, the r**ting, the fires, and the zombies that the entire debacle will be one bloody catastrophe. Neither Obama or Hillary have our military with them--maybe some Pentagon patsies will pretend they are in charge and they'll probably get a small percentage of newly indoctrinated i***ts to go along, but the majority of the troops aren't going to turn on their American brothers and sisters, especially those in the combat arms and the combat vets.

Those of us living in rural, and even wilderness areas (as I do), have one helluva lot of options no matter what happens. I think those Islamon**i cockroaches are the ones to watch, not the bloated bureaucracy of a thoroughly corrupt government. In a manner of speaking that mob of self-serving fools, as a whole, can't walk and chew gum at the same time.

Declaring martial law in a nation the size of the United States and particularly against real Americans would be the stupidest thing any President could ever do. If Obama thinks that he can rely on UN troops to help him out, he's in for a rude awakening.

For sometime now when I, in my daily activities, I encounter and especially friendly or helpful clerk or cashier I simply hand them a $2.00 bill. At first they are shocked, then curious and many times they tell you they cannot accept tips.( Go to your bank and ask for $2.00 bills and most all have them )
