Most, if not all, of us conservatives, and I'm sure some moderates too, came into this forum with the same intent, and expectations as you. But, after getting some real nasty responses, from liberals like BoJester, Lou, Don Overton, Inyourface, Bluejacket, just to name a few, it doesn't take long to start returning the favor. One can not get into any discussions with these individuals without receiving a barrage of expletives, name calling, and trash talking. Am I guilty of some of it, yes I h**e to say I am, but I didn't start it first - I only responded to one of their trash talking replies. When I get lambasted by one of these jerks, my crusty old sailor years just seem to rise to the surface and wants to fire back. Too be honest, I always thought liberals were the "why can't we all get along" crowd? This has been an eye opener for me. I have some friends (retired military and police officers) who would like to join the forum, but after showing them a couple of posts by Bo jester and Lou, they declined, and I don't think I need to explain why.

Tell these people to tone it down, and I will do the same.

And, whose pockets are lined by the rich? What party affiliation has the most rich people? Which party in Congress has the most rich reps and senators? Of the top 10, or 20, richest people in America, how many of them are in the Democrat Party? Who is propping up the Stock market (making all these fat Democrats rich) by printing $85B a month of new money, and putting the country farther in debt?

Why it would be your Party, the Democrats, Obama, and Obama in cahoots with the Fed.

Okay, this is just the sort of thing I've been talking about in other posts; using negatively-connotated words to describe someone, or "labeling". Such things as "geezers on Medicare" as a descriptor for a group of people, for instance. As it happens, I and my wife both could fit into that group. I am 71, and I'm a cancer patient, living on insurance and Workman's Comp. My wife is 67, and on Social Security Disability.

I have been a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Technician for 40+ years, and I feel insulted that you arbitrarily choose to lump me into your "geezers" group. My wife worked in a large medical center for 18 years, winning Employee of the Month several times, and Employee of the Year once. She feels insulted by you for the same reason.

Why don't you partake of a little thoughtful introspection before you start with the generalized name-calling? It's poor technique in a discussion, and does nothing but make others mad and discount any real and valid points you might try to make.

It's Syrian civil war and Russia's client state so what business is it of ours (Israel?)(gas pipeline to Europe?) what goes on there? putting in our nose for something we cannot afford, have no business there except to give cover to Israel, when and if they bomb Iran and/or pave the way to decimate Syria so Quatar-Saudi Arabia-Jordan Israel-Mediterranean sea pipeline can pump natural gas to Europe via Syria-Turkey-Europe (Kosovo). for trillions of dollars over the next 100 years?
