If the person can't reheat it for his or her dinner then we make sure a neighbor can take care of that part of it, or a relative of that person. Takes maybe one hour a week, as we make the same food that we eat, and just package some of it for the other person, plus a loaf of home made bread, and deliver it at a convenient time.

The Meals on Wheels project here is financed by donations and supplied by food drops and farmers. Once a month a truck load of food, mostly produce, donated by farmers and gardeners arrives at the city hall parking lot where everything is first come first serve. Often this includes cases of spring water and fruit juices. These donations are augmented by Christian and Mormon churches and charities.

Appreciate the compliments.

However, one correction: I did not "condemn ever person on earth", I simply pointed out that human beings are not perfect, some are very very good and some are very very bad. Some screw anything with hair around it, others wouldn't think of such a thing. Millions of men and women--many of whom held or hold positions of power and influence--have succumbed to the human beings' most primal desires.

Is there anything you'd like to say about the moral character (or lack thereof) of the current "democrat" candidates?

How about Plugs Biden and his fondness for groping, caressing, feeling up, and imposing his sexist perversions on young women and girls?

How about Kamala Harris? She prostituted herself for political favors. That is to say committed adultery with the SF mayor. She screwed her way to where she is now.

How about Pete Buttigieg? Is it appropriate for him to publically exploit his sexual preference while campaigning? As in kissing his husband during stump speeches and such.

Would you like to unleash your hypocritical rage on presidents such as JFK, LBJ, and WJC for their sexual trysts, adulterous affairs, and sexual abuses WHILE they occupied the WH?

Immorality is not restricted to just sexual behavior. Look at the histories of all the "democrat" candidates. You've got a real zoo there, bubba. Pick your poison.

How about pointing out one instance of President Trump harassing or sexually abusing any woman during his presidency. Tell us all about his extramarital affairs or womanizing while he is serving as POTUS.

There is only ONE SIN that cannot be forgiven.

Couple pages back, the women and their allegations are outlined in one post. Not necessary to open a link to ABCnews. After noting the "severity" of those allegations, I'd like to know how many men (and women) at all levels of society and government throughout human history have never engaged in similar behavior.

For a current example, take Kamala Harris. Why, that woman is a fking saint. Pure as the wind driven snow.

Everything you say is correct..

That does not mean the end of the story..

Long delays in speaking of sexual assault are very common, ask any cop..

Why, embarrassment, self guilt, need for secrecy,

But the largest reason by far is lack of results.. the women, if it reaches trial has to relive the experience in front of the public, the man usually only goes on with his life with no downside..

And yes, I know of exceptions. right in this town ..

Never the less, the usual is what is expected.. the more powerful (rich) the man is, the less action he receives..

Short part of another comment on women and sex predators..

In 2016 about a dozen women came out well before the e******n declaring that Trump sexually assaulted them. Trump claimed they were all liars and he was going to sue all of them. Not a single one has been sued. Trump was later caught on videotape bragging about his history of sexually assaulting women. Still, Trump was elected President while the other guy in the video lost his television job just for giggling.

Why don't more women come forward? See what happened to Anita Hill and Christine Blasey Ford. Both were judged by tribunals of old men. Both were dismissed as crazy or liars. Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavanaugh are on the Supreme Court.

Now columnist E. Jean Carroll has come out with her account of being sexually assaulted by Trump back in the 90s. Just another piece of the pattern of a man with no impulse control who assaults women, c***ts business associates and lies as if it's a bodily function.

Women are not stupid. They understand the consequences of testifying against powerful men. They understand that they will be disbelieved and demonized while the perpetrator skates away without consequences. Yet we are still questioning why they don't come forward.
Everything you say is correct.. br br That does ... (show quote)

Allegations of "sexual abuse"?

Jessica Leeds - 1970, Trump groped her while seated next to her on a flight. No cigar.

Ivana Trump - 1990 divorce deposition - "As a woman, I felt violated, as the love and tenderness, which he normally exhibited towards me, was absent. I referred to this as a 'rape,' but I do not want my words to be interpreted in a literal or criminal sense." No cigar.

Kristin Anderson - at a New York City nightclub in the early 1990s. Trump reached under her skirt and touched her vagina through her underwear. (how do you "touch" a vagina?) No cigar.

Jill Harth - at the Mar-a-Lago resort in the early 1990s. Trump pushed her against a wall, put his hand up her skirt, and tried to kiss her at a dinner. No cigar.

Lisa Boyne - a 1996 dinner with Trump and modeling agent John Casablancas during which several other women in attendance were forced to walk across a table in order to leave. Trump and Casablancas looked up their skirts and commented on their underwear. No cigar.

Mariah Billado and Victoria Hughes - Two Miss Teen USA contestants claimed Trump walked in on them while they were changing in their dressing rooms. No cigar.

Temple Taggart - Trump "kissed me directly on the lips" when she met him at the Miss USA pageant in 1997. No cigar.

Cathy Heller - was attending a Mother's Day brunch with her husband, children, and in-laws at Mar-a-Lago in the 1990s when Trump approached her table, introduced himself to her, and forcibly kissed her. No cigar.

Karena Virginia - Trump groped her as she waited for her car outside the US Open in New York in 1998. No cigar.

Tasha Dixon and Bridget Sullivan - Two Miss USA contestants said Trump walked into their dressing rooms, where female participants were changing. No cigar.

Melinda "Mindy" McGillivray - Trump grabbed her buttocks while they were backstage during a Ray Charles concert at Mar-a-Lago in 2003. No cigar.

Natasha Stoynoff - 2005, Mar-a-Lago. Trump pushed her against the wall and forced his tongue down her throat. No cigar.

Jennifer Murphy and Juliet Huddy - Trump Tower, 2005. Trump kissed them without their consent, but they weren't offended by it at the time. No cigar.

Rachel Crooks - Trump Tower receptionist, 2005, Trump kissed her on the mouth without her consent. No cigar.

Samantha Holvey - 2006 Miss USA contestant. Trump personally inspected each of the pageant contestants individually. ""He would step in front of each girl and look her over from head to toe." No cigar.

Ninni Laaksonen - 2006. A model and former Miss Finland. Trump groped her backstage at the "Late Show with David Letterman". No cigar.

Jessica Drake - Lake Tahoe, 2006. Accused Trump of grabbing and kissing her without permission and offering her money to accept a private invitation to his penthouse hotel room. No cigar.

Summer Zervos - a former contestant on NBC's "The Apprentice," Trump grabbed her shoulder and began kissing her "very aggressively" and placed his hand on her breast. No cigar.

Cassandra Searles - Miss Washington at the 2013 Miss USA pageant, Ditto Holvey. No cigar.

Alva Johnson - a former Trump campaign staffer. Trump kissed her without her consent at a Tampa, Florida rally on August 24, 2016. No cigar.

E. Jean Carroll - accuses Trump of raping her 25 years ago. Sound familiar? No cigar.

Note that every one of these alleged incidents occurred BEFORE Trump became president. OTH, how many presidents have behaved like this WHILE in office? How many men in this world have never behaved like this? Or, how many have?

What comes after these allegations are investigated and found wanting?

Monica Lewinsky - Opps! CIGAR

All other races??? WTF are you talking about?

Hitler's genocidal regime obviously classified Jews as the priority “enemy,” but the N**i ideological concept of race targeted other groups for persecution, imprisonment, and execution. These groups included Roma (Gypsies), people with disabilities, Poles, Soviet prisoners of war, and Afro-Germans. The N**is also identified political dissidents, Jehovah’s Witnesses, homosexuals, and so-called asocials as enemies and security risks either because they consciously opposed the N**i regime or some aspect of their behavior did not fit N**i perceptions of social norms. They sought to eliminate domestic non-conformists and so-called racial threats through a perpetual self-purge of German society. Hitler even had many of his own officers and soldiers executed.

No other race or class of people suffered the protracted horrors of persecution as did the Jews. No other race or class of people was officially targeted for annihilation as were the Jews. (See Reinhard Heydrich, the Wannsee Conference and the "Final Solution to the Jewish Question").

No other race or class of people were branded as "parasitic vermin, sewer rats, Untermensch, or Judenschwein. No other race or class of people were tattooed with serial numbers and forced to wear the emblem of their race on their clothing as were the Jews.

No other race or class of people lost 6 million lives at the hands of the N**i butchers.

An interesting perspective...

The implication of this liberal's opening post is that we have declared war on children. Yes, children are victims of war. Most of the time. As are adults.

However, we might look at the historical records. Let's take WW2 for example. Germany, Japan and Russia all recruited children--I'm talking about kids 8, 9, 10 years and up--and trained them to fight.

Every nation recruits young men (and women) to fight their wars. 17 isn't exactly what you'd call a fully developed adult. For instance, the youngest Marine who fought on Iwo Jima was 14. He lied about his age to get in.

Children as soldiers

Remember, CD, David was just 16 when he popped Goliath.

A Scathing Denunciation of Some Administration’s Immigration Enforcement
By Jim Geraghty

June 24, 2019 11:57 AM

The PBS Frontline special entitled “Lost In Detention” represents a scathing indictment of the administration’s immigration policy. The yearlong investigation did an extensive and deep dive into the U.S. immigration enforcement system and stories of hidden abuse in detention centers.

The nearly hourlong report makes for harrowing viewers: Women who have been detained complaining about being harassed by guards for sexual favors, sexually assaulted by guards, and guards threatening to k**l the women they are harassing if they talk. A single mom with two daughters who overstayed a visa gets deported back to Mexico just because she changed lanes without signaling. Cops describe patrolling neighborhoods with significant number of i*****l i*******ts, where people instinctively run from the sight of a police car. A mother of five American-born children being deported over a speeding ticket.

The report describes, “a vast network of 250 detention centers, from county jails to large centers run by private prison companies, where immigrants facing deportation are held until they can be removed from the country. In the past decade, three million immigrants have been detained in the system.” The report shows white-domed tents surrounded by barbed wire, and are described as overcrowded warehouses of people. Those who have been through the detention centers describe beatings, racial slurs, official coverups, and threats to deport anyone who complains. The problem is described as more than a few “bad apples,” but more of “barrels of bad apples.”

In the Frontline report, the administration insists the current enforcement policies are necessary to protect the American people. The report shows the president traveling to El Paso and boasting, “We have strengthened border security beyond what many believed was possible. We now have more boots on the ground and we are deporting those who are here illegally.” The deputy director of ICE boasts of “record-breaking numbers in terms of criminal alien removals” that include “1,000 murderers, 6,000 sex offenders, 45,000 serious drug violators. As we expand the deployment of Secure Communities, focus on criminal aliens, you’ll see that number continue to go up and up.” Officials from the administration boast that they’re finally taking enforcement seriously, a contrast with their lax predecessors.

One of the president’s immigration advisors callously declares, “At the end of the day, when you have a community of 10 million, 11 million people living and working in the United States illegally, some of these things are going to happen. Even if the law is executed with perfection, there will be parents separated from their children. They don’t have to like it, but it is a result of having a broken system of laws.”

Critics complain that the administration’s policy is just “enforcement on steroids.” The report warily details how ICE has extended its reach by enlisting the help of local law enforcement to better identify i*****l i*******ts who have committed crimes — turning local cops into a de facto enforcement branch of federal i*********n l*w.

Wait, wait, I’m sorry, this Frontline special is from October 2011, and describes the immigration policies of the Obama administration. Clearly, these policies do not warrant a heated national conversation, are not a national scandal, outrage, or embarrassment, and do not deserve furious denunciation all across the political spectrum. If they did, we would have heard all of this eight years ago. While the allegations of abuse are repulsive, they simply didn’t seem to interest the media or the public on a large scale back in 2011.

And regarding the way i*****l i*******ts are being hunted, arrested, and deported, clearly the president knew what he was doing and this was simply tough enforcement of the i*********n l*ws on the books. If it wasn’t, surely all of the current Democratic p**********l contenders who are furious about the current policies would have noticed. I mean, Joe Biden was vice president when all of this was going on.

Or is it just that these longstanding enforcement policies are acceptable under President Obama but not acceptable under President Trump?

Humans have waged war on children from the moment humans were created, at least, it seems that way. There's the current hot topic war over unborn children, the war over i*****l i*******t children, just to name a few current wars. However, we have waged war on children forever.

Some wars targeted children specifically, US citizens on Native Americans, N**i's on the Jews, and the slew of genocides going back 1000's of years. By far and away, the largest threat to children in the 21st century, are the 100's of wars currently being waged around the world, just as has always been the case in the 1000's of previous wars.

Mostly, the children are collateral damage, and we, as Americans, have become enured and numb to the sheer scale of these massacres. Children dying as a direct result of artillery, both air and ground. Children dying as a result of diseases, the inevitable consequence of the disruption and contamination of water and food supplies. Children dying by being caught in the crossfire of warring elements. And, children dying by being co-opted or conscripted into the various armies and m*****as worldwide.

Malnutrition and disease, while not quite so prevalent in the US, are rampant in every area where the US has troops engaged in combat or support missions....................and we do little about it. Indeed, children right here in the good old USA die daily as a result of malnutrition, lack of adequate healthcare, exposure to the elements and at the top of this deadly list.....................violence................and we do little about it.

Even here in America, Children have become political fodder, expendable commodities to be used for bashing one another over ideological differences. It's a wonder that the human race has survived this long, because, when you wage war on the next generation, through direct or indirect means, or allow others to do so unchecked, you put the future at risk.

Children are not born Republicans, Democrats, liberals, conservatives, bigots, r****t, h**ers or anything else...............it's we i***t adults who teach them that stuff. We might want to consider calling a truce in our war on children.
Humans have waged war on children from the moment ... (show quote)
Boy, you have a twisted outlook on things. Warring on children? WTF is the matter with you? Is this some more of that liberal bleeding heart bulls**t?
