The government has laws that protect consumers from fraud, from manufacturers making false claims about products that are not true, that haven't been proven. It is not up to a manufacturer to rely on any proof that something hasn't been proven not to be true, they are required to show proof that their claims are true.

The american public, in a role of being consumers of facts and information, have a right to be able to rely on the information media presents as facts are actually proven facts, not simply a matter of nobody knows but we are saying they are facts. That may be a bit harder to define than the information that actually catches factual rebuttal that comes up with proof that something is incorrect. At that point where the facts are there that prove something is actually incorrect, and the parties using incorrect information keep saying it, they are lying. That is willfully perpetrating a fraud on people who believe it to be true even though it is not.

The right, seeming to be aware of the fact that much of the lies they are being assaulted with are coming from the right, adamantly want to protect the media from suggestions that the media has a responsibility not to portray things we know to be lies. I do not understand how the party that is supposed to be all about values, honor, integrity, and the t***h, can't support the concept of weeding out the BS that the american people is being assaulted with. The only way to figure out what is lies and what is the t***h is to force the media to do their fact checking on what can be proved. There is nothing wrong with opinions and editorials as long as they are done with a disclaimer that makes people aware that they are opinions and not facts. Let anything being called facts be proven to be so.

How about telling people who the real americans are, the patriots, the people who love this country...

...and using a definition based on whether you support a president who has a following that is less than half of the country, who was elected by less than half the country. These are the real americans, the patriots, the people who love the country because of all the great rhetorical things this president is doing for the country.

Then everyone who doesn't support this president are not real americans, they are not real patriots, and they don't love this country, in fact this i***t logic goes to arriving at an alternative conclusion that they must h**e the country because if they don't love it they must h**e it.

Trump labels and targets everyone else that doesn't support him as something else besides real americans. He has love on one side and h**e on the other, he is telling his 30% minority of real americans and patriots that support him that all of the rest of the americans in this country h**e it and the real americans because they h**e him.

If this isn't d******e I don't know what d******e is. You show me one example of where Obama, Bush, or Clinton picked at such openly definitive division between two groups based on their political beliefs.

Seriously it's becoming more and more alarming watching FOX News since it's seems that they having more and more Democrats on this channel and they have been treated much much better than Republicans on CNN and MSNBC!!!!?? The Ukraine scandal started with a whistleblower report that was an even bigger scandal because Barr tried to obstruct the legal channels and path these reports are required to be dealt with by law. The people at the top of the direct chain disagreed with Barr trying to keep the report from going to house intel and went to congress themselves to tell them they needed to see this report

FOX news represented it as nothing here, this was a perfect phone call just as Trump said. No quid pro quo. Now that people have testified that there was an effort to pressure the Ukraine with military aid that was illegally done not through official channels by people who are not part of the state department, it's a different song and dance. It's okay, if there was this is done all the time, nothing wrong with this...besides, the Ukraine got their money and they never provided the information trump was looking for.

As the "story" as represented by trump and the right wing unfolded, the evolution of an ever changing narrative are lies, one leading to another...this is a trump trade mark by the way.

I don't know why the right is so complacent with lie after lie, how they can support each tier of the next lie with a straight face. But then when they are being so blatantly lied to over and over they also buy into the biggest lie, that the left who is dealing with the straight off documents and facts are the liars, their side is representing the t***h?

So please forgive me for calling it the way it is, but this makes you as a group look like the most gullible and easily fooled people on earth. It's embarrassing that we can't be talking about the same fact based narrative, we have to deal with arguments about alternative facts that are in la la land.

Is it that hard to see a progression of lies? Each time a lie is caught the story changes up into something else that then proves to be another lie. People have to be s**k of being lied to, but pull your head out and look at who is doing it. Some of these sequences of lies done right before our eyes are truly moronic, take Stormy Daniels being paid off...
...first it never happened
...then there was no payoff, that was a lie
...then okay there was a payoff but I knew nothing about it
...then Cohen did this on his own without trump knowing anything about it
...then there is a signed check from trump to cohen
...then campaign funds were not illegally used
...then they were billed as legal expenses for tax purposes (need to see tax returns there)

Okay, right wing supporters and FOX has vigorously defended each and every one of these lies, it truly doesn't matter to you what trump does so you defend every lie as it comes out, otherwise you would get s**k of being made to look like a fool.
