You stand by your post......really! Prove your lies that the First Lady doesn’t conform to our standards and that she has no roll in anything American!

I can understand her perfectly! Why would not speaking to suit you in English when she speaks in 5 different languages! How many do you speak?

Apparently, the immigrant did quite well for herself......she married the man who later became the leader of the most powerful nation in the world!

Prove she does not conform to our standards... if you can not handle that concept... you simple have no standards yourself..

In east Europe, the counties in the east have similar language, the exception being Hungary.. so it is normal for many/most to speak the language used by the people next door.. just as we as kids spoke the old country language, in my case Norwegian.. the Polish kids were the most proficient at old world speech..

Gee, do you ever wonder why she does virtually no public appearances at schools and such?

Not only does she have no program, like "just say no" or eat healthy..

She is not understandable to most school kids, she has made no progress and so remains in that "run down" house she is forced to live in after giving up the New York apartment and being limited in Mar a largo..

It would seem that even with all the money from Putin and associates.. having to live with the orange albatross does not make her happy..

Not very happy when the vile thing gets close to her..

The only thing you can trust trump to do is lie..

He lies when he has no need.. no one should ever trust him for anything.. if he says it is raining, check it yourself..

He is loyal only to himself and his pocket book.. run now by Putin the worlds leading thug and you are so silly to think he is somehow reputable, not at all true..

The best democrat witness will be Adam Schitt under oath. He must release the name and identity of the Whistle blower to prove that ever exist. And if he/she exist, demand to show up as witness.

I believe Schitt made that up. He could not prove, denied the identity. In the Court of Law, evidential facts must be presented. . Schitt fabricated that and all the lies came out from his mouth.

Impeachment is conducted under rules that differ from the local court room..

We have a law that is designed to protect whistle blowers. and only the orange thug wants to endanger the process by exposing the person to retaliation..

What the heck do you imagine Adam would have to say the trump would want to hear??

You and so many seem to think this is an open investigation of the world and somehow anyone you do not like could be condemned if only you could get them in court..

this Impeachment/removal is only about trump.. none of those who you wish were evil are in anyway being investigated and nothing has been shown that that should happen, which would have to be a new and differing investigation.

And what do you think that any those people you list would know about trump to add to the impeachment process??

While the impeachment has been done, removal from office is not happening.. the word long ago was mitch would never do anything the white house did not approve of..

What the hell would Biden know about trump actions?? why would you want them in the impeachment process, they would know nothing.. it is the witnesses which were blocked by trump that would perhaps have something to contribute.. they should be brought in.

The strategy of the left, since the era of Karl Marx, has been to program a society they wish to conquer by changing their thinking via domination of the media and the education system, the two primary sources the public goes to for "information." This has been quietly accomplished over the last few decades, and, with the added seasonings of bogus identity politics and political correctness, has successfully caused a rift in our country -- indeed most western countries, that has brought us to the brink of societal collapse.

We Conservatives can see this clearly while the "useful i***ts" who've been duped cannot, and we will continue to support the Constitution and the liberties it affords us despite the fact that many people, such as yourself, are too blind to understand that what you support could only lead to a totalitarian state whose government gets to redefine our rights according to its own whims.

Where your "90%" figure is concerned, I have to laugh -- another strategy of your l*****t "opinion makers" is this "most people believe x", "most people support y" or "the vast majority of the people are going to v**e for z" malarkey, employed to convince us all that we must be wrong if we don't agree with the consensus or we'd be wasting our time bothering to v**e if we're not v****g for the indicated "sure winner." Does Hillary come to mind?

You also misread, intentionally or otherwise, the actual reason why Trump was elected -- unlike you and your fellow travellers, the American people, whose character you obviously don't understand yet you believe your "progressive" minority is somehow qualified to speak for, had long been tired of experienced, "professional" career politicians and career government bureaucrats for whom the will and well-being of the American people are secondary to their own personal ambitions and agendas, and Donald Trump's candidacy promised an administration that would put America and Americans first for a change.

His platform blew right through those of a whole line-up of professional politicians and then emerged victorious over Hillary's because he was the candidate Americans wanted to be our next president.

You and the rest of the Trump h**ers can deny all you want, slander the man, his presidency and even his family, but most Americans, including increasing numbers who v**ed for Hillary, see that he has been faithful to his word and has either fully delivered or is fighting to deliver on his every promise.

You and your fellow anti-Trumpers can lie to yourselves and anyone else who will listen by denying, belittling or minimizing his numerous accomplishments, but most Americans are smarter than you are and know that what you "progressives" tell them isn't happening while they see that it is with their own eyes, in their 401Ks, on their pay checks or in their new jobs.

At the same time they see a Democratic Party that has done nothing over the last three years but try to undo the results of the 2016 e******n by accusing this president of one crime after another, a media and certain Democrat politicians actually crowing that they possess irrefutable evidence each time, only to have their accusations and innuendo disproven to the people's satisfaction. They see that this is unending, that when one attack fails it is immediately followed by another. This demonstrates that you and your fellow portsiders, who throw your every enthusiasm behind each failed attempt, behind each lie and each collection of tepid or manufactured "evidence," really, truly have not one iota of an idea as to how most Americans think. The average American has been rolling his or her eyes at each new "charge" against the president for well over a year now, wondering when your lot will finally grow up and

A) your politicians will start doing what We, the Taxpayer pay them to do and work with the Executive Branch instead of attempting to sabotage it at every turn, and

B) the mainstream media will return to the practice of real and honorable journalism and deliver fair and balanced news and information.

I am sorry. Your wording is a little confusing. I can only infer that you mistyped a little. What I guess you are saying is that why not do the carbon reduction because it can't hurt and might do some good. Is that it ?

Well if I am mistaken please take the time and trouble to set me right. But to answer what I believe you mean. The problem is that there is a real cost to reducing our carbon foot print. F****l f**ls make life for all of us affordable and - - - - really good.

Even you. Without using a lot of f****l f**ls and emitting copious amounts of carbon, 'your' life, your standard of living will be going down, a lot.

Now you might say that you are willing to make that sacrifice. You might also say that your fellow American Citizens should be willing to make that sacrifice. We still on the same page ?

Well I think I am asking a valid question. That question is, will reducing carbon emissions do anything to stop or reverse G****l W*****g ? My follow up question is, can we measure that improvement if there is one ?
" As you say, we can not know if any effort h... (show quote)

yes, son you did get what I intended to say... more of less..
and you do have a point with your comments above..

But....

It is not correct to say we who want a reduction in f****l f**ls want to force a lower life style..

Remember the word "replacement" it means not only a removal, it also means using another form of power..
Very doable.. fought tooth and nail by the f****l f**l champions.. just like the tobacco companies of the 70 ETC..
In my own case, I elected to pay $15 extra per month on my electric bill, several years ago..

Now, my electric provider has phased out all but 2 of the coal fired plants they once used, both of these plants are on scheduled to be replaced by gas fired/renewable plants in the very near future.. 2021 for one of them..

The point is that reducing the carbon does not mean poorer living standards and I agree with you that very few people would follow if that were the case..

Also, FYI, one of my grandsons now works for a bio-fuel plant and is paid well and get very good perks. Insurance, 401k, medical.. etc etc. oh they even get meals provided by the company..

to mention, this company is rather new.. start up was in 2011 and growth has been continuous, even with trumps anti bio-fuel policy... seems they are thriving by addressing the need of today..

My personal carbon footprint is higher then I would like, mostly from heating my large over 100 year old house.. retains heat very poorly..

so efforts to drive more emission free cars, recycle/reuse/reduce are ongoing..

once more, i also think that the most effective measure remains conservation of what we use.. do not waste what we have and we will have it longer..

donald trump is lawyering up for his impeachment trial with a team that looks surprisingly similar to that of billionaire p*******e Jeffrey Epstein.

The president bolstered his legal team Friday with attorneys Alan Dershowitz and Kenneth Starr, who helped Epstein evade prison time in a now infamously lenient plea deal with Palm Beach prosecutors. Epstein originally faced multiple charges of soliciting and trafficking underage girls, but escaped with just 13 months of house arrest in a deal that caused Trump’s Labor Secretary Alex Acosta to resign under pressure last year.

A suit unveiled by Virgin Islands prosecutors this week alleges Epstein continued to traffic and abuse girls as young as 12 on his private islands until 2018, a decade after Starr and Dershowitz helped him walk free. Epstein died by suicide before facing trafficking charges in New York last year.

But in full faith that you all will h**e this, I will post some excerpts from the Atlantic a few weeks ago......

Read and contemplate your naval as you ponder the t***h, justice and the American way.. which has long gone from the right wing of the Republican party..

https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2019/10/trump-making-swamp-worse/599344/

The last serious effort to “drain the swamp” in Washington, D.C., came after Watergate, when Congress pushed through sweeping reforms inspired by the misdeeds of Richard Nixon’s administration and the backlash its criminal acts produced.

The new ethics rules and laws forbade some lobbying by former members of Congress and their staffers; forced elected officials and some of their family members to disclose their financial interests; limited the franking privilege; imposed limits on individual contributions to candidates for federal office; imposed reporting requirements on campaign spending; introduced public funding into p**********l campaigns; and sought to limit how much candidates could spend on their own campaigns (a restriction the Supreme Court later struck down).

What has Donald Trump done in comparison?

Trump’s interest in possible misdeeds extends no further than the specific Democrats he considers his most direct political adversaries, such as Hillary Clinton. For all his theatrics, he is not actually fighting corruption any more than a WWE wrestler is actually fighting his opponent. Put simply, there is no prospect that he will, in fact, drain the swamp.

For three years, he’s taken no step toward lasting change. And matters are only going to get worse, if you’re a Trump fan who actually wants the swamp to be drained.

Think of today’s partisan incentive structure. A president facing an impeachment inquiry is never a champion of measures that make it easier to ferret out official misconduct and hold the guilty accountable.

He will go further, urging foreign governments to investigate the Bidens; indeed, he already has. Meanwhile, the activities of Ivanka, Eric, and Don Jr., plus his own business dealings, will keep him from effecting any sort of broader legal or normative change that would curb efforts to profit from public office. He’ll attack H****r B***n while bolstering the laws and norms that made him possible.

So pity the Trump supporters who want to drain the swamp. There is no prospect of their civic happiness. Insofar as their champion thrives politically, Washington, D.C., will grow only more corrupt. But if Trump is proved to have abused his power, the backlash may inspire reforms, as it did after Watergate. You can fight to drain the swamp or to defend Trump, but not both.

How do you know Trump's campaign promises are BS? Are you even aware of how government spending is done? This is overly simplified for those who attended American centers of indoctrination. The House passes legislation authorizing spending. The Senate confirms the spending. The President signs the spending authorization. The President can't spend any money that Congress doesn't appropriate. All the President can do is send a suggested budget to the House. Imagine what President Trump could have accomplished by now if Congress hadn't been actively opposing everything he proposed. I'm not saying that Congress must go along with everything the President proposes, but Congress has a responsibility to either go along with the President's proposal or negotiate a solution to wh**ever the disagreement is. As it stands now, Trump could propose something that was supported by Obama and the democrats in the past, but today's Democrats would fight it tooth and nail just because Trump's name was on it.

An elderly Florida lady did her shopping and, upon returning to her car, found four males in the act of leaving with her vehicle.

She dropped her shopping bags and drew her handgun, proceeding to scream at the top of her lungs, “I have a gun, and I know how to use it! Get out of the car!”. The four men didn't wait for a second threat. They got out and ran like mad.

The lady, somewhat shaken, then proceeded to load her shopping bags into the back of the car and got into the driver’s seat. She was so shaken that she could not get her key into the ignition.

She tried and tried, and then she realized why. It was for the same reason she had wondered why there was a football, a Frisbee and two 12-packs of beer in the front seat. A few minutes later, she found her own car parked four or five spaces farther down.

She loaded her bags into the car and drove to the police station to report her mistake.

The sergeant to whom she told the story couldn't stop laughing. He pointed to the other end of the counter, where four pale men were reporting a car jacking by a mad, elderly woman described as white, less than five feet tall, glasses, curly white hair, and carrying a large handgun.

No charges were filed.

The moral of the story?

If you’re going to have a senior moment… make it memorable.
