If this is true, them democrats should be delighted at the prospect of "Trump out, Pence in." I wonder if they will be.

Why????? Everybody say this, yet nobody gives the reason why??

When Pence was governor of Indiana, he wanted to ban Howard Zinn's books from their colleges. Of course, I had to read one. I read two of them.
Both were very interesting history books about the US. I can understand banning books for grade school students--but for college students. No.
Banning history books? What part of our history does he want to supress? Or, does he dislike Zinn?

I am not a fan of Trumps performance in the White House; however, if he leaves, we get Pence. In my opinion, Pence is the worst thing that could happen to this country.

Even though I walk in the shadow of my Christian responsibilities,
There will be no interruption,
For the TV is with me,
With its cable and remote, it comforts me.
It prepares a commercial before me in true worldliness;
It fills my head with Humanism,
My coveting overflows.

Surely goodness and love will elude me
All the days of my life.
While I will dwell in the house of Satan
And do nothing about it.

Turn it off, people. Turn it off and look around you.

The snowflakes are wailing about the amount of NRA money in politics, it's dwarfed by the UNIONS!

"The Supreme Court is about to hear the biggest labor case of the century"
- The Washington Post

It's crunch-time, Friend.

The oral arguments for the Foundation's "biggest labor case of the century" are this coming Monday at the Supreme Court.

And the stakes couldn't be any higher.

If your Foundation is successful in our Janus v. AFSCME case to free every government employee from the shackles of forced unionism, it would strike a blow to Big Labor's forced-dues empire.

One of Big Labor's websites even suggested it would usher in a "Right to Work nation."

Of course, Congress still needs to pass the National Right to Work Act to ensure ALL workers enjoy the same freedom to work without being forced to join a union or pay union dues as work requirement.

But granting MILLIONS of public sector workers the same right to voluntarily choose to join, or not join a union, without fear of being fired as workers currently in Right to Work states enjoy will be a massive defeat for union bosses and their forced-dues-funded political powerhouse.

The fact is, Big Labor uses forced-dues dollars to fund a massive political machine that reaches into Congress, every state house, most city halls, police stations, firehouses and school districts across the country.

So it comes as no surprise that Senators Elizabeth Warren and Chuck Schumer have joined union bosses in attacking your Foundation's Janus case in the press and on the Senate floor.

As AFSCME union boss Naomi Walker wailed, "The progressive infrastructure in this country, from think tanks to advocacy organizations -- which depends on the resources and engagement of workers and their unions -- will crumble."

Of course, our fight to free workers from the chains of forced unionism transcends politics.

The Foundation has been eliminating coercive union power and compulsory unionism abuses through strategic litigation, public information and education programs since 1968.

I would have no problem with this IF unions were not required to represent all workers not just union members.

I wish you'd go to my post possible solutions. It's definitely out of the box. This last shooting should certainly have been stopped. FBI had plenty of tips they could act on. When I was growing up took about twenty minutes to go through the airport. Times changed and so did the airports. it's expensive but we are now safer flying. The same thing can be done for schools since knee jerk reactions such as banning scary guns will only affect law abiding citizens.

I read your post. A police officer in every school every time the doors are open is a good idea for two reasons. A deterrent to shooting in the school, and it would acquaint the students to law enforcement in a nonthreatening environment. Hopefully, the office would have good relations with the students. Two problems: how do you get all the parents to agree and how do you get the school district to fund it.

What legislation could have stopped this?

If I were smart enough to find an answer to this, I would be running for office. I am afraid we are left with: it has to start in the home. Unfortunately, a lot of homes have nothing to start with.

Just posting a sign Gun Free Zone is not going to make it gun free, there has to be enforcement. How many people have you seen driving 70 miles an hour in a 55 speed limit zone ? Posted signs in todays society are a joke. People now are self-centered, got to be on my cell while I'm driving. If they cut you off, then F U.. It's your problem because they are privileged. I don't like intrusion of Federal Government into state rights. On this issue I think that the Federal Government should give the States the right to decide to provide school security or not. We have this kind of security just about everywhere, except our schools. Try to board a plane without a security check. Try to go into any Federal Building without a security check. If the Left is so outraged and demanding that something be done. They were in power for the last eight years, why did they not address this issue ? For the same reason they didn't address DACA. Just think about it.

No, they were not in charge for the last 8 years. The last 6 years, republicans held the house and the senate. Even if Obama had wanted legislation that could have prevented this (and I have no reason to think that he did), congress would not have passed it.

If a family member needed medical care, and this was the only way they could get it, I would take the money. If no similar set of circumstances existed, l would put the jerk in jail and take great satisfaction in doing so.
