Read letter received in November announcing .2% raise. We made too much so my husband now receives $51.90 less, and I receive $57.80 less from social security in 2018. A raise? That is over one thousand dollars le SS a year! Our punishment for saving and not doing or getting everything we wanted.

You have to call your local office for Social Security to make sure no errors. If you changed a se******n under the Advantage program, you may have wrongly got a penalty from the state. Call your carrier and they can help. and tell you who to call if necessary.
If you are at the top of social security income wise, you might have gotten nothing or less.

I got a whopping $15 on my SSDI. The last raise was snuffed by an increase in Medicare premiums.

Under trumps new tax plan the republicans quitely changed the cpi for social security,remember reagan did this so people got less raise,now they have changed it again so look for even less raise in the furture. Funny the republicans havent bragged about this and remember trump said he wouldnt touch ss
