Just what discrimination against same sex attracted people did they fund? The L***Q people can use the rest room and/or shower that their biological sex indicates. They can go to the movies or a restaurant and not have to be segregated from other patrons. They can even "marry" anyone they wish too, although they are pushing for lowering the age of consent and being able to marry more than one person at a time. In this attempt they are in line with the Muslim people who want the same thing. To force others to provide art work and other one of a kind products and services to them is another story. If I were breeding dogs and someone came in to buy 10 small dogs to use to train fighting dogs, in states where that is legal, hopefully I would not be forced to provide the dogs. If I wanted to rent out the single wide on my property next to my doublewide I should have the right to rent it to whom ever I want. If I do not choose to have four homosexual men living there and having nude parties in their yard, that should be my right, but not if the L***Q had their way.

Below is quarterly GDP for Obama and Trump and note that Obama didn't have the benefit of a trillion dollar tax cut for himself and his billionaire friends. The promise was 3.0+ in perpetuity and I'll be shocked if our economy will do it for two years in a roll. Considering all of Trumps hype and bluster that's just sad...

https://www.statista.com/statistics/188185/percent-chance-from-preceding-period-in-real-gdp-in-the-us/

To be honest, I don't think that tax cut will play any real roll in GDP growth as it disproportionately favors the wealthy and corporations. The wealthy won't stimulate the economy by spending their tax break on good/services that they would not have purchased otherwise. Corporations will create/cut jobs based on supply/demand and so their tax cut isn't likely to stimulate the economy either. The "tax cut" that the middle class got MAY stimulate the economy to some extent but with the elimination/reduction of certain tax deductions they once enjoyed to lower their tax burden. Many are in the same boat they were in BEFORE the "tax break", some are effectively paying a higher rate than they did BEFORE their "tax break", while the lucky ones (the ones that either didn't take advantage/couldn't take advantage of the eliminated/reduced tax deductions) actually are paying less.

This year, 2019, will be the real test of the tax cut's effect on the economy, now that people have seen what they effectively paid toward their federal taxes under the new tax plan. Of course the tax plan isn't the only factor to consider either, many jobs are being lost due to manufacturing jobs being lost to foreign countries due to the new tariffs, Harley Davidson sent some to the U.K. to avoid U.K.'s retaliatory tariffs, and perhaps to avoid paying higher prices on steel/aluminium due to Trump's tariffs on foreign steel and aluminium. GM and I hear Ford as well are closing plants and moving jobs to Mexico due to the steel and aluminium prices. Those are the only large job losses that I can think of right off the top of my head right now that can be directly tied to Trump's policies, I am sure there are other examples out there, I just can't recall them right now.

The farms that went under due to having paid pre-tariff retaliation prices for seed to only harvest crops that suffered a massive price reduction, those losses, while tragic for those farmers, they can only help those that survived the first season as there may be less supply because of it and cause next season's crops to go up slightly in value. Of course those without a heart, they can rejoice because their produce might be a bit cheaper.

I actually changed my mind on whether or not white privilege exist in the US. In my opinion it does. At first I wanted to deny it because I’ve never gotten a job or anything special just because I was white and I felt insulted. As if everything I have was just handed to me. Recently a friend of mine who played ten years in the NFL put it how he and many of his friends see it. It’s like you’re in a corridor and there’s 100 doors. A couple lead to opportunity. What you do with that opportunity is up to the individual. He explained if your white maybe you get to try 99 doors. If your black maybe 50 doors. Not my fault I have more doors just the way it is. I asked him if it was the same in the NFL now because it’s obvious b****s are more athletic. He agreed it was but also didn’t like anyone thinking he accomplished 10 years of Pro Football just because he was black. We both see there is a privilege but both agree the way to fix it is not to try and level a playing field by taking from one and giving to another. He thinks the answer is education. Equal and mandatory. I don’t disagree. Thoughts?

I agree, an equal opportunity at an equal education would be quite appropriate.

Yes, yes, Trump has turned around the trade deficit as is evident if you look here, https://www.census.gov/foreign-trade/balance/c0004.html#2018

What’s crazy now on OPP these people are complaining that it’s awful that a president gets attacked like this. There saying no other president in history had been attacked this way. But this country has never elected a president that was heading a criminal organization.

Not to mention 8 years of there daily attacks on Obama. Then they complain about democrats now doing 2 years of government oversight that was ignored for two years by republicans. But it just amazes me

It is fine if they are doing it to Obama because Obama is the great Satan, when the same thing happens to Trump, the second coming of Christ, that is a sacrilege that can not be tolerated, PERIOD! At least that is what I think their only justification can be for the hypocrisy.

Because, Obama bad, trump good. Just ask any Trump supporter, I am certain that is what they will have to say in a nutshell.

I'm not the keeper of his bio so his age is relatively unimportant. However, I believe the judge sentenced him to solitary in his pretrial confinement for 90 days before he was sentenced with no visitation rights. That was cruel and unusual for a 69 year old white collar non violent crime. I suspect 89 of those days were because he was once a Trump surrogate but, of course, no judge would do something like that. Especially a progressive judge right?

The judge has no say in how an inmate is housed, only in what facility he is housed in.

Yes nobody denies that CO2 is needed and it’s a natural event. That’s why I asked OPP to read and understand how the Carbon cycle functions. But the reason for this topic is to flip the coin and discuss the pollution that we inject into our atmosphere and the effects on clean air, Water and soil, and not to mention the health issue. Also the jobs that this g***n e****y can create. Since the industrial revolution this country has spent billions trying to clean our air, the pollutants that have been dumped into our waterways and dumped into landfills that poison our water supply. But the f****l f**l users just walk away and leave the mess for tax payers to pick up the tab. Oil spills how many billions have been spent to clean up this garbage at tax payer expense. Then we flip the coin and give them tax payer subsidies. Republicans actually created a max payout for the f****l f**l supplies if they have a spill. Then the tax payer gets stuck with the long range effects to our ecosystem and health issues. Why is it we subsidies these corporation, why is it we clean up there mess, why is it that we give them low tax rates, why so many tax loopholes. The larger f****l f**l suppliers have a negative tax base and they are making billions. So we subsidies them we clean up there mess they have low tax rates then they inject billions into our e******n process to control the Republican Party, are we really that crazy.

Nobody can deny that fossils fuels are not expiditing c*****e c****e. Our earth is warming at a faster rate. Man first appeared on earth between 5 and 7 million years ago.

What do you mean "Nobody can deny that fossils fuels are not expiditing c*****e c****e."? We have Trump supporters here don't we? I am sure they can deny it plenty. Trump, his media and supporters have no qualms against telling half t***hs to full on lies in support of their god, Trump.

I'm sorry. I forgot to hit the satire button when commenting with you. You do know he was kept in solitary for 90 days. Was that cruel and unusual and a measure of a judge flexing unnecessary muscle on a 74 year old man?

How does he keep jumping to 74 years old? He is only 69 and judges have nothing to do with inmate placement in a prison, what prison yes, what part of the prison, no.

Excuse me but wasn't it Mr.Trump that just push to relieve federal maximum sentences for non violent crimes and received accolades from the Black community, and isn't you birds that want to toss Manafort into a Super Max, 300 feet underground until he rots because he befriended Trump?

White collar criminals go to minimum security "resorts", they don't go to any "real" prisons.

Interesting, someone from the right posting a fact check... Especially one that shows that Obama was not the worst thing to happen to our economy since the creation of this great nation... Hope may live that we can actually discuss facts rather than rhetoric. I applaud you.

Gotta love their sympathy for actual criminals all the while wanting to lock others up that have never been convicted of any crimes. That seems to be the nature of the republican party now days, lock up the innocents and let loose the criminals.
