Although I see your point, I can not agree with you wholeheartedly. There are good people all over the place, many of them are Christians. There are also bad people, the ones who get the attention are the bad people because we expect people to behave in a certain fashion and they (the bad) step outside of the normal they highlight their activities. It would be wrong to group Christians into a singular pigeon hole because you encountered some that were Christian by title only. I am not a Christian (Jewish) but I know many who do work toward making this world, nation, city, town, better places for all. They work tirelessly at homeless shelters, care givers in hospitals and all manner of places for needy. They reframe from using criticism of nonbelievers and show their Christ like attitudes in all they do.

I regret that you have encountered bad people, but do not condemn all Christians for the wrong doings of those you met.

That's my point. A true Christian would be someone who dev**es their life to emulating Christ. In all my life I've never met a single person who did. What Christians really are, is people who go for the religion because they were brought up to believe a bunch of dogma that they would go to some heaven if they only believe that Jesus was god, and that they can do bad things and be forgiven.

That by itself just doesn't make good people out of anyone or teach them right behavior.

If you have Google Chrome, look in the upper right hand corner. Below the red x to close out, there are 3 horizontal bars. Click on this icon, and several functions will appear, one of them being zoom.

I do hope you are not using Chrome.... that application has some very bad vulnerabilities. Not only does it track your cookies, but it delivers your IP to their server. That means that your specific computer can be seen by an outside source. It is also consistently under attack by hackers, making your passwords for banking (credit card number) in the clear and other quite nasty things like implanting spiders. If you do not like to use explorer the next best is Foxfire. Fox has an advantage over explorer because when you are on your system it makes your system a "private" browsing, masking your IP and reroutes the cookies only maintaining those necessary for the pages you are viewing.

Go to your tools and find the zoom in or out function to increase the size of the print or decrease it. My tool function bar Icon is right below the close button.

If you use the zoom function (using view, or control plus/minus, or the wheel of your mouse), as I said yesterday, it will distort the page and can cause you to not be able to see all the print when you go to other pages. It is like using a magnifying glass. Better to use

1. View
2. Text Size

This will increase the text size to a more readable level while still maintaining the pixel count. The zoom function was added to the browsers to allow you to "zoom" in on a specific detail of the page, such as when looking at a map or a photo. Zoom is used also for CADs.

Fear of god is all I ever heard when I was a young man, fear of god and his wrath is not a happy life. I choose to beleive God is ever loving and is still hoping all of his children will eventually love him back. The Word is Love, help spread the Word. Thank our Lord God that he sent his son, Jesus to bring to us the Word and a new covenant of love. Like you I don't h**e liberals or progressives, and I do have some classic liberal friends who far more right than left, have a great night!

Thank you, sleep well and remember me in your prayers tonight as I will remember you.

You have the gift of ignoring comments that are different from those you get from your handlers. Directing to you is a total waste of time. I already know what your talking points are.

Obviously I didn't get the right person's attention. I was intending my post for someone who had or was open to reading the book, not merely someone who had not read the book, but had strong opinions about it.

I did not know, because you did not use the quote reply. From now on, I will ignore any of your comments unless they are directed to me.

Sad t***h be told. I await out lord to come a relieve the pain of this sinful world for those who believe.

I do not know when the end will come, I do not pray for it to be soon. I have hopes for people and I think that perhaps God also holds out hope because otherwise he would have ended us already. The best anyone can do is provide the t***h as it is written, show examples of leading a good decent life, and when we pray remember those who still deny God. I know that many laugh and say there is no God, but for me I believe not because I am afraid of God or what will happen once I die, I believe because I want to believe. This is exercising my free will given to me by my creator.

You didn't read the pamphlet I recommended, because I didn't recommend a pamphlet, I recommended a book. Send me a copy of the pamphlet and I will give you my humble opinion of it.

Please use the quote reply button. In this way, your comment will get the right person's attention. I assume your comment was directed to me, so I will reply. Books to me has to be more than 168 pages. Also a book has a beginning, a middle, and an end. This was a repeat of repeat of repeat.....same idea all the way through. I found no redeeming factors to praise. If you are interested in a real book, try Models of Democracy by David Held for starters, then you can move on to Social Theory of Modern Societies; both excellent books and I read them both in the same day. After you finish those then I could recommend Capitalism, Socialism and Democracy and then move to The 5000 Year Leap: A Miracle That Changed the World. My library is full of great reading material from the far right to left, left of center, and right of center. The pamphlet that you recommended was produced in 2011 and I read it, passed it on to my Uncle and now it sits gathering dust because I can not even give it away. I took it to a yard sale, offered it for one penny and no one wanted it.

A lotus flower! Thank you!!!! Your kindness reminds me of a Malayan Proverb, goes like this "One can pay back the loan of gold, but one dies forever in debt to those who are kind." I am again in your debt.

And when you show those emotions of anger or react to being called a name there will be people who become amused by that reaction and they will repeat the words over and over, as long as you respond in a way that gives them a jolt of pleasure. It is my opinion that they have a sickness, they enjoy pulling the wings from butterflies.

I would love to use a term of endearment, but do not want to offend. So here is some news for you. I do not see Liberals as an enemy, they are not depraved, or otherwise inferior. They are simply people that are looking down the same road as I, they are seeing the bushes and trees on the side of the road while I am looking into the distance. Same road that we have to travel together, we just see different parts of the road being more important than others. They want to walk along the side of the road so they can touch and feel all the little things going on. Me, I walk in the middle of the road because I have my eyes on getting to the right place on time without mishaps. Some of my Liberal friends get stuck on the way, preoccupied with fluff or a bunny or savaged by a wild beast. I may miss the beauty of seeing a fox or a waterfall, but in the end we, the Liberals and I, will arrive at the end of the road. We need to start viewing each other as people that have different views. Learn to work out problems instead of wasting time and energy in fighting. We can accomplish the needs of feeding the hungry, finding medical help for the sick while conceding that there has to be limitations. How much can you spend without going into the red? Can we put time limitations once again on unemployment insurance to encourage people to work? Can we turn off welfare at some point for those who have been on it for years? What is the humane thing to do? And we have to have fairness. One thing that would be a step in the right direction is toss out the IRS income tax schedule and do an across the board percentage. Yes, people like myself will pay more than someone earning say 100 K a year. But, it would be a fair scale. Do away with deductions....flat percentage. Stop overtaxing companies. Give companies an incentive for coming to the US or staying here. Companies then would be able to hire more people......

Sorry, I went off into a rant. Bottom line Fom, do not let people rattle you. You have a fine intellect, you are able to converse, and your thoughts are important. I enjoy your comments and thoughts, don't give up or for that matter give in. Change your mind about things, this is natural and a part of maturing in your thoughts, but only after you decide that it is right to change. Never change to fit in or to appease anyone, this only leads to regret.

What is wrong with people that they have to lable and judge others. I don't care how people v**e. It is their buisiness. I sure as heck don't feel like I have the right to cut them down because of the way they v**ed. I'm being nice but If I get much more Harsh treatment I am going to have a hard time avoiding going for the throat.

My daughter is going to do that, but in my state they won't do that until she is 31. Couple more years to wait.

Her doctor can get it done at any age for the safety of the patient. So, I say that is highly unlikely that she would have to wait. In fact, it is written into Obamacare without any age restriction.

They are trying to outlaw that too as well as the pill. It seems it's against their religion. To hell with anyone elses religion.

Against who's religion? This is a new one for me. I just did a search of the net, there is nothing about outlawing the morning after pill. You can go to any pharmacy and request the pill. You must be 17, no prescription required.

"What is the Morning After Pill?

It is the common name for Plan B, a type of emergency birth control containing the progestin levonorgestrel. It can be used 120 hours after unprotected sex to prevent pregnancy. That comes to 5 days but know that the sooner it’s taken the more effective it works.

Note that Plan B is not the “a******n pill” AKA RU-486 AKA Mifeprex . Plan B is used to prevent a pregnancy following unprotected intercourse. RU-486 is used to stop or terminate a pregnancy from continuing to develop.

It might also be referred to by the following terms:
Plan B, Morning-after pill, Postcoital contraception, Emergency Birth Control, ECP, EC."

Next excuse for a******n????

Of course, it is all about rights. You and other women have a right not to get pregnant. A baby has the right to grow up and be all they are intended to be.

The little feet don't do anything until halfway through the forth month. I've had five. Yes, I understand about the feeling, but as I have said, this for me is not about a******n it self as I do not like the idea of it. It is about rights. The repubs say they are all about expanding rights so one of the first things they do is try to take womens rights away. What's next on the chopping block? My right to v**e? Oh, forgot, they're already working on that.
