I beg to differ with you. First, I am wealthy. In fact my entire family is what many call rich. My income is well into six figures without the use of a decimal point each month and my bank account is well over the none of anyone's business balance and that does not include business I own and stocks. My father left me money because his father did....all the way back to whenever. Each person that inherits are given the same challenge, leave more for your children than I left for you. To that end, I have worked my entire life. All of my family worked until retirement and even some afterward. We invested our money, we saved, and yes we do not owe anyone one single penny. And I am fulfilling the wish of my father, I am leaving my children more than what he left me. If that is somehow wrong in your books of balances, then it is wrong. But, I can tell you that we are not stingy people. I will not go into detail, but we give more to our community, the poor, and even to our youth in form of scholarships. In fact, I started one in the name of my late husband only 2 years ago. We are far from selfish. And I resent you implying that we are!

First, I do not care that you take offense at me using the world Negro. They are what they are. I also call homosexuals Q***r. That offends you to. I do not care! You do know that Craigslist will not allow the posting of animals for sale or even free to good homes because the mistreatment, sexual, of dogs is so wide spread. People are just sick now a days. Yes, I can see where the redefining of marriage will have an impact. Not only does it allow homosexual marriages, but now that it is widespread laws about incest and marriage into one's own family is being challenged. Many states have laws about marring cousins, those laws are under fire. The denigration of the US....... God help us!

You know, I often wonder about things. I have been around the world and I have been to Africa to the places that tourist do not go. Which brings me to my thoughts. Africa is a very rich country. It has everything to make it great, but people continue to live in conditions that are extremely primitive. Clothes are washed in streams, children go days without adequate food, homes are... well, I think you get the idea. I have been to South America, another place that is rich beyond anything we have in the US. But, again the people are primitive. All the nations that are primarily Negro or Negro decent, and you find this in our own inner cities, they are primitive in their actions and thoughts. Why is that? If you have everything that you could possibly need to be greater than all other nations, why are they not? Do not say that it is corrupt governments when the governments change often, even in these places. Do not say that they do not have at their disposal modern education because the Brits, Ozies, and Americans spends billions to ensure they are given the right equipment and instructors. So, why? No one has been able to give me a satisfactory response.

So, Dave I guess I am with you. Your choice of words have schocked some people and offended others, but once your meaning is realized then there are not many who can present an argument. You will find that those who reply in anger, their replies are directed at you on a personal level, they do not approach the questions that you raise. I too am tired of the race card. I too am tired of the "angry black man" BS. It is time for all of us to pull our own weight, for those who live in hives of the ghetto to stop trashing the cities, for them to stop the scheming to put their hands in other's pockets so they can live without having to work or take responsibility. I am tired of the welfare system that fosters more welfare receivers. To me, forced sterilization should be considered for those who are nothing more than baby factories. I too think that our borders need to be closed, and only those who can prove that they have funds to live or a sk**l needed should be allowed to immigrate into the US. All i******s should be given exit passes. This is how OZ handled their immigration problems and although the rest of the world was angered, it has been working for years and they have surpassed the US in many ways to include education. It is not perfect, but it did solve the problems.

Let me see if I can answer your questions. First I do not look for any return for anything I give. I give for two reasons, 1. It is the right thing to do and 2. It is part of my teachings. I am not sure what to make of your second question. Giving is part of my culture. What a person does with the gift, that is up to them. There have been and always will be people that have needs. We can not help each person, it is physically, economically, and logistically impossible. There never will be a society that does not have a person that every once in a while will run into unforeseen problems and those people should be helped. It is not my responsibility to ensure that the people who make bad decisions, who refuse to work, who are just baby factories are ensured a rich life. Each person sets their standards and they work toward those standards. If you are like some, they may think that having enough for their immediate needs is sufficient and therefore they live from pay to pay. There are some that think that the nation owes them a good life and they are the ones that steal, c***t, lie and spend their lives scheming their next score from the comfort of their sofa (complements of the government) in their abode (complements of the government) while getting high (complements of the government) while 3 or 4 children run around taking lessons from their parents on how to s**m the system. Then there are others who have a little bit, work hard and save, those are the ones that the government hit in the midriff and over tax and overwork. But, somehow these people pull themselves up and become wealthy and they pass that wealth on to their children along with work ethics, traditions, and the attitude that no one owes them anything. If they want something, they have to do it for themselves.


I hope I addressed your questions. Even if I did not, I am growing weary of defending myself and my belief system. I wish that I could apologize to you.

Very often we use such stories to convey a point. The point of this, the rich man will not miss any funds he gives to another, but our Father takes notice. Giving is an important part of our lives. We find that the more we give, the more we have. It is strange that way. I remember a time when my husband and I were saving pennies in a jar for the poor, we had an issue come up and my husband suggested we cash in the jar and use that money. I refused, the next day I got a promotion. It always works out that way. I give someone the last penny that I have in my pocket, but I never seem to be broke. But, I give not because it is expected, but because someone needs it more than I. God will provide if we put all of our trust in him. No, I never pray for money because God is not a penny bank. But.....what can I say.

A piece in The Jewish Daily Forward argues that these trends are changing and quickly, especially in New York where 2.5 million Jews call home.
