Social l*****ts have been quick to dismiss the argument that changing the time-tested definition of marriage would lead to increasingly unorthodox demands from individuals seeking to wed relatives, inanimate objects, or even their pets.

One British woman, however, recently validated that slippery slope prediction as she made her way down the aisle to meet her new ‘husband,’ a terrier named Sheba.
According to reports, divorcee Amanda Rogers did not give up on love after her marriage dissolved almost 20 years ago. She did, however, apparently decide to switch species.

“Sheba had been in my life for years,” she said of the dog, “making me laugh and comforting me when I was feeling low. I couldn’t think of anything more I’d need from a life partner.”
She described proposing to the female pup – which would technically make this just an extension of the popular same-sex ‘marriage’ craze – and her delight at her alleged acceptance.
“I could tell by her tail wagging that she said ‘Yes,’” Rogers recalled.
Though she conceded that she understands her commitment will not be legally recognized, the ‘bride’ said her ceremony felt just as real as any other wedding.
“I’d dreamed of a perfect wedding dress since I was small,” she said, explaining “I made it myself for the ceremony.”
Attendees even joined in the unorthodox celebration.
“I gave her a kiss to seal the deal and then everyone threw confetti,” she explained.
Of course, a wedding strikes most people as an unnecessary event in the life of a dog owner. The love between man and beast does not require such a ceremony.
As marriage becomes an increasingly fluid concept, however, one might expect even more of these unions to be foisted upon society. Whether they will ever receive the same level of legitimacy that our culture has afforded same-sex ‘marriage’ is unclear. What seems inevitable, though, is that the fundamental redefinition of the biblical definition of marriage will only empower people to come up with new and disturbing ways to push the envelope regarding this once-sacred bond.

Since it was a homosexual marriage, I would expect the "Gay Rights" movement will celebrate. The warnings that as soon as you open the floodgates for redefining the word "marriage" to include same sex, a great many other things will have to be included. So far multiple persons marriage and man-boy "relationships" are on the table for discussion , and the question of adult incest as a valid marriage is entering the discussion, why not man and sheep or woman and dog? The first step has been taken to destroy society, and I expect it to keep "Progressing" until there is no structure left in society at all and all behaviors,including rape, murder and theft will be fine and non criminal. After all, through out history, these behaviors have happened so they must be "normal"

Years ago, I had a friend who was looking for a home for an adult male dog, and one of the people who called asked "Can I use him" the friend assumed that the caller wanted to put the dog, which was registered and intact, out for stud service. As the conversation progressed it turned out that the woman wanted to have sex with the dog,the stud service was for her, not female dogs. I also know of a case, and I am sure it isn't the only time, where they sold a dog to a homosexual male couple, and had to take the dog back because it had turned vicious. The men were sodomizing the dog, and the dog had finally had enough of the pain, and bit one of them in a very private place. I say "Good for the dog" Maybe they should have married the dog first and it would have been OK.

just got a look at the photo in the article. If that is the dog in question, it most certainly is not a "terrier" it is a Pug. It would be nice if the people who write the stories at least attempted to get the facts straight.

As far as Brian, unfortunately he is no stranger than many of the people on the "Progressive" left. Stranger is the mindset of those who are teaching our children from grade school through college. They do more damage to the culture than all the Brians out there, because they are indoctrinating the next generation through the 1984 Brave New World educational process and they contribute to the downfall of this country.

You do know that Craigslist will not allow the posting of animals for sale or even free to good homes because the mistreatment, sexual, of dogs is so wide spread. People are just sick now a days. Yes, I can see where the redefining of marriage will have an impact. Not only does it allow homosexual marriages, but now that it is widespread laws about incest and marriage into one's own family is being challenged. Many states have laws about marring cousins, those laws are under fire. The denigration of the US....... God help us!
