The morning after pill might seem like a good solution to you. No surprise there, since it's not you going through the consequences of your actions by having unprotected sex. And you say the many birth control methods are "irrelevant to when a woman gets pregnant that doesn't want to" because of a "real man" being too pushy?? Or even worse, if she's stupid enough to believe his "I'll pull out in time" excuse. If a woman knows she is going to be with a "real man" who is going to convince her to have sex "his way" then she should be armed to the teeth with an effective birth control method so that SHE doesn't suffer the consequences, and a baby isn't k**led. If taking a pill every day is not her "thing" she can get an IUD implanted. Or even sterilization, if she doesn't want to bear children. Those take no daily effort to maintain and then if she finds herself in a situation where she is weak enough to fall for a "real" man's excuses and stubbornness, she is protected against getting pregnant!

The morning after pill is called "emergency contraception" by doctors for a reason. Women like the one you portray should protect themselves at all times for all kinds of potential situations if she's going to be that stupid.

Here is an interesting article about how the IUD can be MORE effective than tubal ligation (sterilization):

A REAL MAN wouldn't put a Woman in the position of getting prego unless he was married to her or they had been together for years and the woman wanted a baby. To me it's as much the mans responsibility as it is the woman's, maybe more so as we are the more randy of the sexes.

As a side note, after my wife had our first child she had two misarranges and didn't want to go through that again so I got snipped. Two years later she decided she didn't want sex anymore and that was that, I've honored that for the last 13 years. In my mind it's her choice and no I haven't gone else where.

She now has dementia, can barely walk and is in a diaper, can't remember past two minutes. Our daughter wants me to put her in a home for my sake but I won't until she can no longer make it up the 5 steps into our house she will be home as I can give her better care than she'd get in a facility. My choice! Mike

On January 3, the DJIA peaked at 36,934. As of May 6, it has lost over 4000 points to arrive at 32,883, an 11 percent drop. The NASDAQs high occurred on November 18, 2021 at 16,121; it now stands at 12,197, a total loss of almost 4000 points, or 24 percent.

Is anyone pointing out that the NASDAQ is in a bear market? No. Why? Because the FEDS and financial institutions don’t want that realization to take hold. Why? Because the DJIA could quickly lose another 4,000 points, which would lead to further carnage all around.

This is shaping up to look like the bear market of 1973-1974, in which US stock indexes lost 45 percent of its value in 24 months. The UK lost 73 percent! Given the excesses of the recent markets, there is no reason to think this one could not lose a lot more than 45 percent. Time to buckle up.

Interest rates are shooting higher while the FED jumped its rate by 0.50 percent. This is already chilling the housing and credit markets. Inflation is one aspect of this, but consider that households already pinched on rising food costs are going to be slammed with much higher rates on their credit card debt. Public sentiment is on the verge of a huge wake up call, and it could lead to more bankruptcies and foreclosures than we saw during the 2008-2010 period.

Given the extreme volatility that we have seen during the first 5 months of 2022, it may be that a comparison to 1973-74 is premature. In other words, we may have to look back to the period 1929-1933 for better historical guidance.

What if I were an atheist? What would my Worldview be? I am going to try to discover it.

Obviously, I do not believe in God, the Church, or any of the Biblical admonitions of a religious nature. Or in any other religion that has a god or God-like figure to worship. Nor any such creed.

What do I believe in strongly? What do I worship? Several possibilities come to mind:

I worship the State, be it America, or some other State, real or possible.

Do I worship Freedom, Liberty, the Constitution? Possibly, or possibly not. I have the option of worshiping these things just for me, but perhaps not for others that would oppose me. I think I believe in some sort of Utopia in the future...

Do I believe in free speech? Well, yes, for me, but I am not so sure for others again. They will harangue me to death with their sermons and prayers and evangelism. I don't need that!

I suppose I must accept the law else I will be jailed for breaking it. But accepting it is not believing in it, it is merely an accommodation to the reality I live in.

Am I a political animal? Oh yes, I most definitely am! What are my politics? The current set of parties seem to be connected to a combination of Christianity and Atheistic Democracy tinged with ideas of Collectivism and Group Identity, and the concept of change for the better (but how and for whom is not clearly stated). They seem more interested in individuals and groups than the nation itself, and I suspect it goes back to Utopiaism again. I like Utopian ideas!

Do I agree with the restrictions being placed on use of language, such that it has to be politically correct? And do I have to find the correct pronoun to use when faced with someone out of L***Q Land? Maybe, maybe not! It is my choice, not theirs, and I was brought up with a well-formed vocabulary, that I will not trade it in for some small number of people that fancy themselves arbiters of the English language. They are not!

Having said that, if an individual requests that I address them in a peculiar way, I will oblige them as a matter of personal courtesy. But Fie on the PCers!

Do I have an ethical, and moral compass to guide me through life? I either had to create them for myself or adopt a system from somewhere. Seems practical to adopt what everyone else is practicing, such as the last four or five of the ten Commandments: Don't k**l; Don't lie; Don't commit adultery; Don't steal; Don't covet; Honor they Father and Mother. And I might as well throw in the Golden Rule to be a good person.

On the other hand, isn't morality a relative thing? If I travel around the world, and stop off at various countries, I will bet that their moral compass is not exactly aligned with mine and may be hugely different in some respects. Some of them are into genocide, for example, which strains my imagination to understand that act. So, do I believe in morality and moral absolutes? No, it's all relative, I think!

Back to that idea of Utopia. Would it not be nice if everyone had enough to eat, a nice place to sleep and dream, and free health care, free education, and free vacations? Plus a job they adore and make a good living at in, say 20 hours a week, and an automobile to tootle around in! Hmm! Sounds good! Could we have this for all 356 million people in the US? Isn't this the idea behind socialism and c*******m? And the true socialists and c*******ts are not God-driven, they are atheistic too!

How do we get there? Ole Marx had the idea. You must totally destroy the current system of government and economy you are in to begin with, in order to build it back better! This might take a lot of time, and be quite painful to a lot of folks, but in the end, we reach those goals by power grabs and turning all of industry to serve the people. All the profits, minus what is needed to run the government and military, would go to you and me!

This atheist has no spiritual tie or allegiance to a Christian nation so what's a few years of turmoil if the outcome is so grand? It doesn't matter what you call it, be it socialism, secular humanism, c*******m, or even democracy!

There seems to be a very current and powerful movement to change America in just this way, and lots of fellow atheists are supporting the thrust! It is revolutionary! And so humane! I should join it. I must find out who is leading the effort and give them a hand.

Hold on a minute! This is c*******m, or its little brother socialism, we are talking about. There is a lot of history behind the c*******t movement, and it is not all sunshine and roses either. Every one of the nations that went this way, ended up with a dictatorship of some kind, and they had to create a secret police to keep the citizens in check, close their society to the outside world, and build a strong military machine to defend their nation against non-existent threats.

The populace ended up a lot poorer and ill-served by the captive industry that couldn't be managed by mere mortals, even with powerful modern computers and software. Churches were closed for a long time, too.

Well now! The US of A looks far better than that to me! That is, if we can keep it safe and sound against the L*****ts. That is going to be a really hard task for us, atheists and others alike, to fend off this revolutionary idea of the Left. I reject the Left ideas!

We must win!
What if I were an atheist? What would my Worldview... (show quote)

Barack Obama is back.

The former President launched a new political crusade.

Barack Obama can see that polls show Republicans are on track to sweep control of Congress in November, and that Joe Biden is likely to lose re-e******n in 2024.

Since Obama can’t change the polls, he wants to rig the e******ns by controlling what information Americans can see and read online.

That was the real goal behind Obama’s latest attack on the Constitution and American freedom.

Obama delivered a speech at Stanford demanding more online censorship of views that Democrats think makes them look bad. Remember, Stanford is the college that is pushing back against censorship.

Former President Obama explained that since social media giants were private companies, they held a free hand to censor views that run afoul of the Democrat Party’s narrative.

“The First Amendment is a check on the power of the state. It doesn’t apply to private companies like Facebook and Twitter,” Obama stated.

Obama told his audience that the current censorship regime – which he euphemistically described as “content moderation” – did not suppress enough content.

“While content moderation can limit the distribution of clearly dangerous content, it doesn’t go far enough,” Obama continued.

Obama then compared Trump supporters like Steve Bannon to Russian President Vladimir Putin, claiming anyone in America who expressed views in opposition to the dominant left-wing narrative was the equivalent of a murderous Russian dictator.

“People like Putin and Steve Bannon for that matter understand it’s not necessary for people to believe disinformation in order to weaken democratic institutions, you just have to flood the public square with enough raw sewage,” Obama fumed.

Obama then argued that so-called “fact checkers” – all of whom are liberal ideologues and partisans – can be trusted to label everything Democrats don’t like as lies, and to also label their own lies as either opinions or honest mistakes.

“That doesn’t mean some things aren’t truer than others. Or that we can’t draw lines between opinions, facts, honest mistakes, intentional deceptions,” Obama stated.

Obama claimed his famous lie about, “if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor” – which was central to Obamacare’s passage – was an example of an honest mistake that did not deserve censorship.

The political pendulum swung dramatically against Democrats ever since Joe Biden took office.

And rather than recalibrate their failed policies in a hope to win more v**es, Barack Obama pressured the Big Tech overlords to impose a harsher censorship regiment on their platforms to crackdown on information that dissents from the Democrat Party’s talking points.

Russia's Submarines Are Bigger Than Ours, But When the Launch Doors Open It's Immediately Clear That Size Doesn't Matter

On day four of the invasion of Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered nuclear deterrent forces to be put on high alert. This news sent shivers around the globe, especially in light of the nuclear weapons doctrine the country had adopted in 2000, which lowered the threshold for what constituted adequate justification for using one.

An article in the Global Security Review offers a plausible explanation for the changes. Joshua Ball believes that the decision came after Russian leaders watched NATO complete a highly “efficient and precise conventional military operation in the former Republic of Yugoslavia” in 1999. The nutshell version is they couldn’t deny that the U.S. and NATO “possessed far greater conventional military capabilities than Russia.”

Russia has updated its doctrine since that time, but not greatly so.

The doctrine specifies four circumstances, which are called “threats of aggression,” that would warrant Russia’s launch of a nuclear weapon. As per Newsweek, these include:

a) the receipt of reliable information about the launch of ballistic missiles attacking the territory of the Russian Federation and (or) its allies;

Trending: 'Broken Arrow' Incident Possible as Russian F**gship Sinks Into the Black Sea
b) the use by the adversary of nuclear weapons or other types of weapons of mass destruction across the territories of the Russian Federation and (or) its allies;

c) the enemy’s influence on critical state or military facilities of the Russian Federation, the failure of which will lead to the disruption of the retaliatory action of nuclear forces;

d) aggression against the Russian Federation with the use of conventional weapons, when the very existence of the state is jeopardized.

You’ll note that none of these situations necessarily require the “first use” of a nuclear weapon.

Do you believe Russia would actually launch a nuclear weapon?
Yes: 65% (1343 V**es)
No: 35% (729 V**es)
In fact, when asked about the possibility of using a nuke in Ukraine, Russian military leaders have left the option very much on the table.

In most discussions on the subject, the fact that Putin has over 6,000 nukes at his disposal is mentioned.

What is often left unsaid in these conversations is that, according to a January 2022 review by the Arms Control Association, the U.S. has 5,550 nuclear weapons in its arsenal.

We also have a number of submarines that The Seattle Times’ Patrick Malone says can “reshape a continent.”

Malone wrote that Washington State is home to the world’s “third-largest arsenal of deployed nuclear weapons — an estimated 1,120 — behind only Russia and the United States as a whole.”

Related: 'Broken Arrow' Incident Possible as Russian F**gship Sinks Into the Black Sea
He describes “eight hulking Ohio-class nuclear submarines, each nearly as long as two football fields and armed with a spectrum of nuclear weapons.” They are located at Naval Base Kitsap in Bangor, Washington. “At any given moment,” Malone says, “seven of them are armed with nuclear warheads and discreetly traversing the Pacific Ocean while one refuels at Bangor.”

The video below from U.S. Defense News shows Ohio-class nuclear-powered submarines in action. It claims that just one of these ballistic submarines, sometimes called “boomers” or “undersea beasts” by Navy personnel, “could destroy Russia and China in minutes.”

Advertisement - story continues below
Although the Ohio-class vessels, which consist of four cruise missile submarines and 14 ballistic missile submarines, are only the third-largest submarines ever built, the video claims they are “the most destructive weapons systems created by humankind.”

They can reach “targets up to 7,000 miles away, depending on the load.” Each carries 24 Trident II missiles. “As a Trident II re-enters the atmosphere at speeds of up to Mach 24, it splits into up to eight independent re-entry vehicles, each with a 100 or 400 kiloton nuclear warhead.”

“In short, a complete salvo from an Ohio-class submarine, which can be launched in one minute, could unleash up to 192 nuclear warheads to wipe 24 cities off the map.”

Advertisement - story continues below
The nearest rival to these “boomers” is Russia’s “Typhoon,” which is the largest submarine ever made. According to Discovery UK, only four of these Soviet-era submarines were ever built. The Typhoons carry 20 missiles. The vessels went into service in 1981 and just one remains in use today. By definition, the older technology used in the Typhoon can’t possibly match that found in the Ohio-series vessels.

The second-largest submarines ever built, the Borei-class, are also Russian-made. There are four of them. Discovery reports the first went into service in 1996, the second in 2004, the next in 2006 and the last in 2012. Each carries 16 RSM-56 Bulava missiles.

Another fast fact from Discovery: Each required “17,000 tons of metal (50 percent more than the Eiffel Tower), 68 miles of piping and 373 miles of wiring.”

The displacement of these vessels gives one a clearer understanding of their size differences. According to Discovery, the Typhoon’s displacement is 48,000 tons submerged, the Borei-class, 24,000 tons, and the Ohio-class, 18,750 tons.

Advertisement - story continues below
But it’s the sheer power, the capability and the technology used in the Ohio-class submarines that puts them into a league of their own. When compared to its Russian competitors, it becomes clear that size does not matter.

And Vladimir Putin may want to remember that.
