A lot of this in Comey's head. It seems like the FBI was set up to investigate where there was no THERE there.
but it seems Comey was using that
hunting license to assemble evidence against Trump.
But it seems that Comey was trying to create the evidence that matched the investigation he was conducting on the sly.

To wit:: Comedy was using FISA warrants from sources he stated were unverified. Then he assigned investigation role to others in the FBI
Then he assembled confidential files of the FBI at his home to better craft his scheme.
Comedy then lied to the President who naturally was concerned becoz the NYT kept printing articles saying he was being investigated..

Comey lied to the President then confined the f**e sourced investigation while trying to tape Trump.

Somehow he co opted Cohen who also tried to behave Like the Wall Street guy and a recording might solve all of Cohen's problems.

Apparently working for Trump caused cohen to leave all the materials designed to make Trump look suspicious in a neat display.

I'm guessing that if Comey was trying to frame Trump, (unsuccessfully_) He overstepped himself and offered Cohen a deal if he produced by any means evidence that fitted Comey"s maverick "Case".

If Comey had Trump cold, why did he need to feed it to the Press?
